This is a great tool for small dollars!
With technology and storage cards changing constantly, this little usb card reader can save you money when you order your next computer, because it takes the place of built in card readers. If things change again, I will buy the updated model that I need rather than install a built in version that would cost more, but not do more.

So far I'm very impressed
I bought this product because I wanted to be able to easily transfer my music library from I tunes to my android phone. So far I am very impressed.I plugged the SD card reader into my Imac ( Running the latest version of Yosemite as it's OS). Then I popped a 120GB scan disk micro SD card into the reader. There was no installation process and no searching for the card necessary. An untitled drive popped up in my finder and it was as simple as dragging and dropping files. I named a folder music on the SD card and dropped my entire I tunes library onto it. It's OK about an hour and a 1/2 to copy the files ( Roughly 86 gigs worth). After the files were copied I put the SD card into my Galaxy S8 phone. The song was instantly able to recognize the SD card and the files on it without any trouble. I opened rocket player ( My music player of choice) And all of my songs were there, ready to be played. If you know anything about the compatibility between Mackintosh and android products. You know that it's a nightmare trying to get files from one to the other. This has made that process incredibly easy. Sense copying my music library, I have used the SD card reader to transfer files 2 more times And have still not had any problems. I have only used the SD card reader a grand total of 3 times so far. So I cannot speak to the longevity of the device. But as it stands right now, I love it and I hope to get a lot of use out of it.

On the Go Photo Uploads
I travel with my laptop but it doesn't have an SD card reader which means I can't upload photos from camera to it when I'm on the go. This little reader was the perfect solution. Just plug the USB jack into my laptop and insert the SD card into the reader and there are all my photos. An inexpensive and handy way to upgrade my laptop capabilities.

Great And Very Fast Transfer Files
I got this product because this card reader and writer transfer through both USB 3.0 & USB 2.0. Remember; with older computer without USB 3.0 will be much slower but the good news, the job will get done even with 4K video transfer. It also do Micro SD-Card as well as standard USB card from older slow to modern hi-speed SD-Card. The newest Mac mini doesn't have SD-Card slot as this product work very well on Mac mini.

Excellent card reader for my needs.
Excellent card reader for my desktop setup. I have a small-form desktop computer and very limited space on my desk, so I wanted an SD card reader that I could leave plugged in, and that would not take up much room on my desk. This fit the bill perfectly. I did need a short (1 foot) USB cable to reach the USB ports on the back of the computer. Adding the extra cable allowed me to stick the card reader to the top of the computer with double-backed tape. It's easy to reach, doesn't take up room, is barely noticeable, and the computer recognizes cards instantaneously. No connection problems, plenty of speed.

I like this one better
I had a flash drive card reader that I lost during our move so I needed to get another. I like this one better! Because although it's small it's bigger than a flash drive so harder to lose! It reads small and big SD cards. It runs pretty well too! I'm happy with my purchase.

Nifty little gadget!
Bought a brand new HP Workstation. This HOG weighs 50lbs and has it's own Zip Code, it's so BIG! 2 things that I forgot to pay attention to when ordering the computer: Bluetooth capability, and SD Card reader. So when the PC got here and I needed both, I realized I didn't have either and had a mild panic attack (not really!). I had a friend tell me that there are portable SD card readers, which I had never heard of, and why would I when my last PC had one and I never had need to look for a portable one? Then I find this little precious! For $10, I now have the capability to have an SD Card reader. Seriously. You can't beat that. Thanks to UGREEN for the nifty little gadget! I'm grateful!

Versatile SD Reader: Works with all types of SD cards
This SD reader is superb. I have been trying to transfer old pictures from previously used phones from 10 years ago. The phones have Transflash slots, micro SD slots, and regular. The card reader is able to read all of them in an instant and upload the files without any issue of corruption or failed attempted. So far, all of the file transfers have been a super quick process and the data has been preserved. The photos look even better on the computer than they do on the old flip phones from so long ago. This is a great product for anyone interested in have a multi-use SD card reader.

Fast reader, no software quirks, easy to insert card
The only real complaint I have with this is that the microSD slot seems to have trouble recognizing certain cards, but they worked perfectly fine in the bigger slot through an adapter. The two slots show up as two "drives" on Windows and you can indeed use both at the same time. I was able to get 90+MB/s transfer speeds on my 400GB sandisk microSD. Don't have any higher performance cards to try out, but I'd imagine it would be able to go even faster. Cards are easy to insert and remove, no spring-loaded mechanism or anything, just slide it in and it juts out a little so you can easily pull it out.

A unique design that does what it's supposed to.
It works perfectly when it comes to reading my micro and full-sized SD cards. I've tried some cheaper units with mixed results. USB 3.0 speeds are a big plus. The main reason I chose this unit though was its flat top. I wanted something I could mount flush to the underside of my desk right-side-up. The cable had to stick straight out of the back as well for cable management needs. I also wanted it to be as small as possible as most card readers have additional slots I no longer need. This was the only unit to meet all of my needs and it comes from a company name I trust.
