Everything perfect! Packaging, arrival time product quality, excellent. Like another review said, why go anywhere else? This was my first time replacing a digitizer on such a big screen so the process was a bit tedious. I noticed during the install my surface Pro frame was bent on one side. Don't know how long my surface Pro was bent but that probably had something to do with the phantom touch screen problem I experienced before I dropped it and broke the glass. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a replacement. I was impressed with the instructions that it came with. There were several steps one should take before installation to be sure you could return the product if you didn't need it. Make triple sure you have the right replacement part match! There was not much detailed information on how to actually replace the digitizer; however, There is plenty of DIY videos on the subject. Since the frame is not metal I had to reheat it several times before one edge looked straight using a straight edge. I tested the screen throughout installation stages of which the digitizer worked every time except the final one before pulling off the double-sided tape finishing step! The screen wouldn't turn on! After checking my connections again no luck? Grasping for straws, I plugged the surface Pro into the power strip and it fired up. (Phew!) The touchscreen wasn't working tough. I went into the device manager, uninstalled and reinstalled touchscreen driver and voilà! Success! Pulled out the sticky tape strips in my surface Pro looks and acts brand-new.
This touch screen/digitizer assembly arrived faster that expected in perfect condition and was extremely well packaged. Installed it on my Surface Pro 3 and it worked perfect, BTW this was my first screen repair job, thank God for "You Tube". I would highly recommend this product as well as the seller... Great product!!!
works as described. Almost impossible to remove old screen without cracking it. The glass lip around the edges is incredibly thin and fragile. it forms a 3\4 inch lip around the edge. U have to heat it up perfectly to soften the adhesive or risk damaging the components if u overdo it. once u have the screen removed, the rest is easy.
Excellent replacement screen for my Surface Pro. It availability and timely delivery saved me at least $200; because I turned the 6 week, $475 MS replacement cost into a 2 hour DYI project.

I shattered the screen, and with that my workday. Ordered a new screen, and 2 Days later I received the replacement screen in the mail. To tell you this is an easy task to replace, I'd have to say best of luck. Fortunately I left my Surface in a hot car all day so it was MUCH easier to remove the old screen. That being said, it came out in very small pieces (hint: don't do on carpet...). As the directions state in the VERY WELL PACKAGED box, test the screen before installing, as the digitizer cable may look like it is connected but it most likely is not. Once everything is all set and you know it works, touch and all. all you have to do is put some adhesive down and lightly press the screen down. DONE. The screen looks great and came in 4 layers of bubble wrap and boxed within a box to secure it from moving and damage. Well worth the investment. When I have to replace the screen again due to a coffee incident, I will definitely come back and make my purchase here.
After the unpleasant task of cleaning the interior edges of the case and applying the proper double sided tape; mounting the display was somewhat anti-climactic. The connections are easier to mess-up in reassembly than in disassembly, but not impossible. Use caution - you only get one shot at laying the thing in perfectly. The exposed adhesive is inviting you to make contact before you are ready. If the alignment is ever so slightly off, you'll be buying a replacement for the replacement. That said, the product itself seems to be perfection.
Very nice screen repalcement. A little tricky to replace for a DIY'r and I would recommend spending a few extra bucks to buy some special tools to do the job. Tale your time and don't force anything and you will be just fine. Keep in mind that on the Surface Pro, there are connections at the bottom and an antennae at the top, so be careful in those areas.
I was very nervous about attempting a repair to a Surface Pro, but was able to get this replacement on my daughter's SP 3 with some patience, a few good YouTube videos and a bit of luck. The unit has been functioning flawlessly for six months with no signs of any issues. Just be advised. If you are impatient and do not educate yourself in the replacement technique, you may be in for hardship. These are delicate and every precaution has to be taken when handling!
3 months in and it still works great ! Install was tricky. Be careful, removing the old screen is tough This was a greT replacement extending the life of my surface !
