Decided 3 Days before We left for a 2 Week Vacation in our RV We wanted a Portable Griddle in addition to the Standard Portable Grill we already had to more easily grill Scallops, Shrimp, Veggies, etc. Ordered this Grill and received 2nd day. Assembled it quickly but didn't have a 20 lb. Propane Tank to Test it out before we left. When we arrived at our Destination, we purchased a Tank. When I attempted to light it, it would not ignite. Being Older, I've had quite a few grills in my time and knew after 30 minutes I had a problem with the griddle. I called Joseph with Royal Gourmet. I truly appreciated his honesty! He told me they had received some griddles recently that had problems with either the Burners and/or the Regulators. Not many Companies are this Honest! They will give you the "Run Around" and maybe offer a suggestion, i. e., "Maybe you crimped the cord and you can get a regulator at a local Hardware Store and try that"! NOPE! Joseph apologized and at first said he would send me a new regulator as that had been the most recent problems. Then he said He would just send me both the Burner and the Regulator. Although somewhere the Regulator got left off the Service Order, the entire Burner arrived at our Campground via Fedex or UPS (Forget Which as We ordered several things during our Vacation). Having been in both the Corporate World and having had a Small Business, I realize Problems occur. But they way Joseph handled this on behalf of Royal Gourmet was exemplary! I want a Large Griddle for our Deck to supplement our conventional Grill. Guess where I'm going to Buy it? BTW, the Griddle now performs wonderfully! Piece of cake to put little Feet on Griddle. And if you set it on an unlevel surface, the Feet "Screw In" so you can adjust as necessary. Griddle Cooking Top is HEAVY As it Should Be! Cast Iron. I seasoned mine. Don't know if it was necessary but did it anyhow! Three Burners and can vary the Heat from Warm to Hot Individually! Great Product! Very good Price! And outstanding Customer Service!

This is perfect for cooking multiple items at one time

This is perfect for cooking multiple items at one time. I have used this grill 6 times in 2 weeks. I feed 9 people during hoilday season and had food left over. It holds more than you think. It will cook omelets and 2 lbs of bacon a quickly as you want it to. Highly recommend!

Missing parts..Hurricane Irma

Ugh!!!! Perhaps would have rated higher if not for our immediate need. Orlando, FL...Griddle arrived as promised..Thursday. BUT!!!....Coming in from work, we immediately opened package in prep for the inevitability of loss of power during Hurricane Irma!! Product well-packed, secured in Styrofoam. First, we noticed the absence of the stabilizing feet. My husband talked me down, saying that he can adjust and make a go of it! Then we noticed that there is no grease cup!!!! Will have to improvise that, also!! Of course Customer Service is closed. Even if the dept were open, we certainly would not receive the missing parts in time. We did quite a bit of research before deciding on this product. We had been quite impressed that several of the posted reviews had been addressed by the company representative. But, what a major inconvenience this is! Can only pray that the quality control safety standard exceeds the quality control packing standard. It's the little things. A bad day is a bad day. 9.8.17 AMENDING OUR "Ugh" review. The very reason we purchased this griddle still proves true. Customer service is exceptional. As compounded as our frustration was yesterday, this company has made us feel so much better about them and their product. Upgrading our rating!! Thank you Royal Gourmet!!

decided to try this one over the Blackstone griddle and glad I did the porcelain coating is awesome and makes cleanup a breeze, the burners work great even in high wind the first time we used it we had 30mph gust and the griddle worked flawlessly, have used it 3 times with about 2 hours on it and have not had to change propane bottle yet , the griddle itself is very well made and heavy.

The Great Under estimated griddle

There were 2 griddles I was looking at when I bought this one. This one and the Blackstone. I love this griddle and it's porcelain coated cooking surface. I also like the 3 independent burners. Everything came in the Box as advertised and was very easy to assemble. The Griddle surface is awesome and can handle hash browns, sausage, bacon, and eggs all at once, and when I cook stir-fry in the evening it handles everything with ease. It also is very easy to clean. And i think it's priced perfectly. I have never used a Blackstone and I hear good things about them but I really don't like The Griddle surface of the Blackstone. Two of my friends have also purchased this very same Gretel as a result of watching me use mine. And they both love theirs. So do yourself a favor and do your research and you also will find out that this griddle is far superior than its competitor the Blackstone...

This is an amazing product. I have cooked all kinds of food on it. It is large enough to cook for large groups if needed but small enough to store inside my home. The heat is pretty even. The back of the griddle does get hotter than the front but the heat deflector does a good job of balancing it out. I looked at several griddles before picking this one. All things considered this was the best choice for me. You will enjoy this product.

Works great, easy to clean

Works great, easy to clean. I bought this to make tacos at a wedding. It did the job, I left it dirty for a month. When I needed to use it again, I was worried it would never clean up, thanks to the non stick coating. Soap and water took the month old baked on grease right off. It seems to sip propane and I can fit a lot of taco meat on it at a time. Two family members bought them to keep in their rv's after using mine.

LOVE This Grill

I sat this on top of my flat top kitchen stove under the ventilation, I feel like I am cooking in a restaurant now ha ha I absolutely love this grill, yes it attaches to a gas tank but I set the gas tank under my kitchen sink so you cannot see it and drilled a hole in the door In a notch ( if you can visualize - I also unhook it and take it with me in my RV camping for cooking pancakes and hamburgers or anything we want

Nice propane grill for the two of us

Purchased this grill to have if we lose power to be able to cook if necessary. After receiving it we decided its great to use instead of our big grill because we often cook smaller amounts of food at a time. It works perfectly as described and easy to move around. There is very little to assemble and and is very sturdy. If any grease or liquid just brush it to the side with the drain hole to catch any drippings. The three burners work well to heat the entire surface. So far have cooked twice on it but expect to use more so will update review if find any problems. The cooking surface is non stick but still needed to spray the area to make it easier to clean when finished cooking. I keep it on my enclosed back porch with the cover that came with it to keep dry and clean. I am happy with its performance so far and recommend it for small family or camping. We used the smaller propane bottle so far but will probably hook up our regular 20 lb. for continued use.
