Outstanding board for the price. I'm a beginner and this board was forgiving yet capable. It turns really well with the trucks being just stiff enough for me (I'm 175lbs). Because it is so stable, I'm already learning how to move my feet around to carve better turns or get more speed while pushing. The bearings are very smooth btw, almost too smooth for a complete beginner. The board shot out from under me the first time I tried it. Once I got used to it though, I appreciated how easy it was to keep the wheels rolling. I could even carve little turns to build speed, based on the tuning of the trucks relative to the board's flexibility and bearings' smoothness. Also yes, it really is 6.6lbs, very light and convenient.

I was skeptical with the price but I am very happy with this board. Smooth to ride and strong enough to support me at 300lbs. The bearings are solid and faster than expected for a steal of a price.

Don't bother looking at other boards for a beginner - choose this one, you won't regret it! I'll start by stating that I was never great at skateboarding as a kid, however, I began snowboarding around the age of 12, and quickly developed a passion for it and became moderately advanced at the sport. However, this was my first crack at longboarding. Living in Chicago, I was hoping to have a way to get around quicker in the spring/summer/fall. It only took me about 30 minutes to get used to the board, and another 30 to learn exactly where I liked my feet placement, how to properly push while riding, and make turns. This might have been the easiest new "skill" I've ever picked up, and I largely attribute it to this board! The company is also fantastic, as the shipping is incredibly quick, and I had to option to work with one of their employees Mike on replacing a part of my board that I broke, and they provided superior customer service! Thanks guys!

I bought this on a whim wanting a fun and entertaining way to get some exercise. Board shipped fast, has great strong construction, and is a total blast. I tightened up the trucks a bit when it first arrived, other than that it was ready to ride immediately. I'm 6'3 and about 185lb--no issues whatsoever. I wear a size 12 shoe that doesn't seem to be an issue either, just keep your toes and heels out of the cutaway on a turn so you don't get wheelbite. Overall, a great board--entry level price with good construction. I think it'll do fine! Highly recommend.

Bought this to replace 1 that I bought a couple months ago. I haven't boarded long but this board is really smooth and sturdy (that is, compared to the last one I had). The wood is really nice, even though it's thick it's relatively light. The wheels and trucks are good quality and the bearings are really nice. Would definitely recommend it to someone else looking to buy a board.

I love this board. As a beginner it was perfect for me and I loved riding on it. Easy to adjust the trucks and goes pretty fast. ...Maybe too fast for me though because I only had it a few weeks before I flew down a hill, flew off the board and smashed my arm. I am now the proud owner of a titanium plate in my wrist. Still love the board though, but invest in some wrist protectors.

I am a 33 year old male with little to no experience skateboarding, I purchased this board to help me keep up with my very active toddler on her scooter. It is very easy to ride. The wheels seem to be high quality and roll easily, and the extended wheel base offers alot of stability. If there is one negative it is that the clear grip sand is very course and takes a while to wear down to a comfortable level.

This is a very fun board to own and ride. I am an inexperienced rider but the learning curve on this board is pretty easy. My 'professional' skateboarder boyfriend (not so professional anymore) is impressed by its grip tape and overall quality. I am pleased to say it has made exploring towns a lot more fun and also getting my vestibular input in. At first, it was pretty stiff but overall, it'll loosen up over time. This will bring forward the ease of turns and acceleration. I personally prefer the drop through trucks because of the stability it gives me. To highlight, I'm very clumsy and not the fastest reactor so this board meets my needs :).

Let’s make this clear from the start, I am in no way a long time boarder or skater. I am simply a Dad trying to keep up with his kids. I was never great at riding any kind of board, but after trying out my daughters long board I was hooked. I had to go out and find my own. This board does the job and more. I chose the drop through to give me a little more confidence since I am new to the game. I found the board very easy to ride. This board came with way better trucks, wheels, and bearings than my daughters that was at the same price point. The wheels are soft, but they roll very well over cracks and rocks. The board itself does have some flex, but has kept by confidence even at 200 lbs. The board has given me enough confidence that I have been pushing my ability to try out some moderate hills. Because the wheels are soft, I don’t recommend wheel braking with shoes. The wheels do wear pretty quickly if you do this. I have purchased a speed brake that has made this board even more fun. I use a FrogStop braking system that works great. The wheels seem to hold up great with this system. Overall, this board is great for this price. I plan on purchasing another model for my son. Some reviewers mention some quality issues with the grip tape and defects. My board had no defects or blemishes on arrival. The grip tape has held up fine. I have the strip grapics with a bare wood center strip.

Love it. Very nice for the price. I'm 25 years old female and a beginner and it was easy for me to learn. It's a smooth ride. I can go through cracks and be ok. The board feels solid. Definitely do your research on what you want out of a board. Different boards are for different things. I was not looking to do tricks so this was perfect for me. Definitely need to be in an open space to use this.
