Could not believe how much better it worked. I originally purchased "The Rock" frying pan and it worked great till i burnt food in a spot about the size of a hamburger bun, since that time it always burned and sticks there. With the new ProGrade it cooks evenly and eggs slide out of pan especially if you put a teaspoon of oil in pan.

Great nonstick saute/fry pan to cook large quantities at once...it holds 5 quarts. You can use none or practically no oils, butter etc. when using this pan after prepping it initially w/ some oil via a paper towel. The red thermo-spot in the middle of the pan tells you when it is hot enough to saute or fry something. No problems w/ foods sticking. The lid is helpful when you are cooking and/or keeping foods warm in the pan. You can put this pan in the oven up to 350 degrees. The two silicone padded handles make this pan easy to maneuver when cooking and/or carrying it to the serving area without burning yourself. Washing it is a breeze with just some soap & water. I have not washed it in the dishwasher as I have found in the past w/ nonstick items...it wears off the nonstick surface much quicker thus shortening the length of the usage of the pan. I was deciding whether to buy one of the really expensive brands of saute/fry pans in this size but opted for the less expensive brand as the quality appears very similar. Also others commented that they had bought the more expensive brands in the past and found they worked no better and/or lasted longer and they were also happy with this purchase. I am glad I took their advice...I love this pan!

My son has an induction stove and needed a deep pan with lid, nonstick and worked on an induction stove. This was it. Being a 5 quart pan having that lifting handle on one side is perfect. The coating appears to be well made and the lid is heavy with stainless steel edging. I would recommend this for anyone needing a large skillet that nonstick. Bonus: Induction stove friendly. Update: 10 months later and it’s still a great pan. Non-stick surface has held up very well. This pan gets constant used and my son tells me it’s his favorite big pan to use

Great purchase!! When I ruin it, I will get another. I try to always use the correct "tools" but. sometimes in a hurry I grab something that scratches This pan has a flat base contrary to some other reviews. Yes, the pan rocks when cold, but when heated up it becomes extremely flat. No wobble at all. Can make several pancakes in it without them running into each other. This pan is used many times a week for many different foods and shows very little wear after about six months use. It slid around on the induction cooktop until I found Mrs. Anderson's Non-Stick Silicone Baking Mat to use under it. I now have several sizes of the mats for different size pans on my Samsung 36 inch induction cooktop. These mats are available on Amazon and they work perfectly saving the cooktop from scratches, (they even protect the cooktop under my cast iron and Fagor pressure cookers!!!) https://www.amazon.com/Mrs-Andersons-Baking-Non-Stick-11-625-Inch/dp/B00QVOELAE/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1529764969&sr=8-5&keywords=mrs+anderson+baking+n

....frying pan, it would be this one. It is everything it is advertised to be and more. It is also well balanced, very sturdy without being too heavy, and the glass lid makes it extremely versatile. Wish T-fal made more of this line. I'm in love. UPDATE: 7/29. I STILL LOVE THIS PAN.

Love this new "chicken cooker"! So far I've made a huge batch of spaghetti sauce in this pan. It was so nice not having anything splattering over the sides. It heated evenly, did what I wanted it to do and washed up without any difficulty. It's large and holds a lot. The glass lid fits perfectly and is heavier weight glass. My old one got thrown away with no regrets whatsoever!

Many pans on the market today don't hold up when used on a gas stove, as we've learned the hard way after several purchases of other brands of pans. We have used several T-fal pans on our gas stove and they hold up. The nonstick surface works well an also holds up well when used with a gas stove. We are very satisfied with this purchase.

I like how deep the sides are. I can sear or brown meat and not get splatter on the stove top. I have found it is effective to heat the pan up slowly on medium low heat to give it time to heat through. I also like the hole in the glass top to release steam buildup. This pan does everything well.

This replaced a 10" "chicken fryer" that finally gave up the ghost. The non-stick coating was getting nasty and, because it was an induction capable pan about 12 years old, it was REALLY HEAVY. Found this T-fal unit, which is a 12" pan, with a helper handle and a very thin base (flush with the bottom, not a "slab" attached to the bottom) and has a glass lid with vent hole. It weighs at least 1/2 of what it replaced, plus has the helper handle. The non-stick coating is listed as "titanium" and is very smooth and cleans with a sponge. It also has the temperature "indicator" in the middle of the bottom, which supposedly tells you when it's hot enough to put food in. Great Pan!

Hands down, this is the BEST pan that I have ever purchased. It is absolutely amazing quality. The pans cook so evenly and the clean very nicely. NOTHING sticks to these pans. I may say I am in love. :)
