• This kit has all the components you need to start your projects for Arduino or Raspberry Pi and other microcontrollers
  • With more than 200Pcs components
  • With a precision potentiometer, better quality, power supply module and breadboard
  • With jumper wire and f-m DuPont wire
  • Not including the controller board

The kit seems okay so far and all other components checked out okay but I had troubles with the 65 pieces of jumper wires! Most of them tend to have some connection issues or the other as you twist and turn and insert them into Breadboard for Arduino Computing platform. When you are preparing your test circuit having a bad jumper wire can be nightmare. After several attempts of troubleshooting a circuit.. I found the culprit is the included jumper wires from this kit.. Electronic enthusiast Builders beware..!!! the jumper wires in the kit are garbage... Forced to rate the otherwise nicely put kit down to three stars! EDIT: Nov 03 2018. - Revising the product rating to five stars! The manufacturer reached out to me and took my feedback about the jumper wires. The manufacturer was kind enough to replace the defective jumper wires. That clearly shows manufacturer cares about their product quality and provides excellent customer service. Since the replacement jumper wires are great I am revising my rating to five stars!

There's a lot of good stuff in this kit. Enough to keep me and my daughter exploring the potential of the Pi for months. For $12, that's a heck of a good deal. I couldn't take her to a movie for twice that. Wrecked the power supply module in 30 seconds. Don't give it more than 7 volts, or it'll convert to a power passthrough module, which we'll be using it for now. This was my own fault, so no stars off. I'll buy another one. Probably a few more. It actually is a cool piece of gear, but better input protection would be good. The breadboard is adorably tiny. I love it. I had no idea they made them that small. Will be using it only for trivial stuff. Another kit we bought has a more serious one. A webpage with component list and specifications would have been helpful though.

Awesome starter kit for its price. I've been teaching myself electronics and this kit has saved me a lot of time. The breadboard is a bit flaky, but I've been told breadboards aren't very durable in general, so no stars off; just treat it with care and don't shove wiring deep in the sockets because the clips will pinch the wire tips off and you'll lose access to a whole row. Oops The LEDs are veeerry sensitive so you have to be sure you aren't pumping even a little too much juice through them. !DISCLAIMER!: Although the tutorial provided online is very helpful; it is not tailored specific to this kit, so unless you have a 9V battery handy and don't plan on doing any programming or tutorial lessons, you have to buy the 9V adapter, an Arduino UNO (or the Elegoo UNO R3 equivalent for less $$), and the USB cable (do NOT use a printer/scanner/etc cable even though it's the same shape). You can't do any major fun stuff unless you have those three things listed above; the kit does not include a cable for the power supply module.

I got this kit to go along with an Arduino Uno I received, hoping to build up my electronics skills. Before a few days ago, I had close to zero experience with any of the items included in this kit, but decided it was time to get into it. For only $20, this kit seems like an absolute steal! It comes with hundreds of items, and they all seem to be of reasonable quality. That said, I'm not sure I would be able to tell if it wasn't high quality other than the fact that something didn't work. In this case, everything I've used is working beautifully, and I am extremely satisfied with the purchase. If I had to complain about one thing, I would say that the plastic container is too small. Even though everything is shipped in the container, it is nearly impossible to squeeze everything back in once it is taken out. In fact, I don't even bother trying anymore, and I just leave the box open with a heaping pile of electronics inside.

I bought this to do my first hardware build. I can highly recommend this product, it has a little of everything you will need for your first hardware build, and quite a bit extra. I have yet to use everything in the kit, but everything I have used worked perfectly. If you ordered only what you needed you would probably get a higher quantity, but I highly doubt you can get the assortment of items for the same price. For my first hardware build it was cheaper to purchase this kit than to purchase the parts individually. Plus I have plenty of extra for whatever I decide to build next, and the wheels are already spinning. I will no doubt be purchasing more products from Elegoo. My only complaint is that the items could have been better sorted/labeled, but that is more on me and my terrible eye sight than it is Elegoo.

Both quality and quantity exceed the current price. I don't feel bad learning on this kit because the components are inexpensive to replace. I like what it comes with, because you need to learn more to use them, which is why we're all here, isn't it? Board looks genuine. Software includes many example sketches to learn from. Plenty of tutorials online to explain the rest, same name as sketches.

This kit is amazing. It comes with just about everything you need to build some simple and complex circuits. Everything is clearly labeled and I haven't had a dead component yet. It is very easy to select a component from the kit and place it on the breadboard. I like that the breadboard comes with a power supply that allows you to hook up via usb, a cord, or through the pins when you don't want to power the board from the Pi. I will definitively use this to experiment and play around with my Pi as it is fun to work with the various sensors and components.

Totally lovely kit, perfect for the beginner who wants to knock together a few circuits with their Arduino or Raspberry Pi. It offers one huge benefit to the dabbler over other similar kits: organization. All components are carefully bagged, most of them bagged separately, with combined bags pretty logical (22pf and 104 pf capacitors are in the same bag) Resistors are labelled in a neat hand on their paper strips if you haven't learned the color codes yet. Transistors and Integrated Circuits are all listed on the little part sheet with their part number, so it's easy to google them. The cute little box stays shut with a satisfying *snap* and is secure tossed into a toolbox. A breadboard power supply is included, though as others have noted not required 6-15v input power adapter, These adapters should be widely available. I grabbed a 9v and 12v ac adapter from my local goodwill and it performed beautifully. If you need a full datasheet for this poweradapter, just search the part number '545043' and you can find all the info you'll need. This is an entirely solderless kit, with all the parts working perfectly with a breadboard. Note that if you're trying to do hardware hacking with a Raspberry Pi, this kit also includes some socket-to-prong cables, making your life a *lot* easier when connecting to its onboard pins. While this kit includes every part you might need to do your first hardware hacking, you might consider picking up a cheap multimeter and a few power-supply AC adaptors or battery boxes in addition.

Connectors are too small for standard breadboards and can lose contact. The wire gauge and durability is also substandard. There is nothing worse than trying to troubleshoot a complicated circuit when a wire or two is not connected. Worthless in my opinion downgraded my rating subsequently. Now I have connector pins that separate from the wire. really disappointed. Update: The mfr took it upon themselves to send out replacement wires as well as more breadboards. These replacement wires are great!

This has everything you need to get going with Arduino and Elegoo boards. I cant say enough about this product. I've learned so much and had a lot of fun with this product. There are so many things to build! the best part is the case. Everything is well organized in a compact and pretty strong box. I pack everything up and throw it into my backpack almost every day to get it from school to work to home and everything is kept safe. Very happy with this purchase and the Elegoo team in general.
