Program works as expected.

So overall a good purchases, it has given my daughter a hands ...

I got this as an early Christmas gift for my 12 year old daughter, she had expressed an interest in wanting to code video games. There are a few free coding “games” out there but they are very rudimentary and teach the idea of coding rather than the actual process and use of codes. The first step is to set up an account with Simply coding, fill out the information and enter the code. You will know you have entered the access code correctly when the price goes to Zero. After setting up the account you are walked through how to start with both written instructions and videos. You also have the option to choose which coding package you want to work on, as there is a list of different package for purchase. My daughter has found the programs enjoyable and challenging. So overall a good purchases, it has given my daughter a hands on experience with coding and furthered her interest into the field.

Great gift

This was a Christmas gift for my 10 year old grandson. He really wanted this and hasn’t put it down since. He loves learning about coding.

Easy Peasy

My 12 yo was so excited to get this and work through it! Having never done any kind of coding before I was a little worried he would get lost in it all, but the way they have it set up with videos of each step and easy walk you through it all has made it really easy. He is not quite done with his yet and while it has taken him probably longer than someone who has been exposed a little to coding it has still been doable, and he is loving his experience with it.

Not just for kids!

This program will do a good job at building the foundation for writing Python code. Although it says it is designed for ages 12 years and up, at 38 I did not find the lessons to be childish in any way. The games that were coded were games I was familiar with playing from my youth. Highly recommend this course!

and were great to deal with

This was a Christmas gift for my 13 year old granddaughter. She was thrilled to get it, and this is the programming language that seems to be the one to learn these days. The company was very responsive to a question I had, and were great to deal with. Highly recommended.
