This is a fantastic option for any Mac laptop user. I work from home and revamped my Macbook Pro into what now feels like a desktop. I no longer have to hunch down to look at the screen-- giving me better posture and less back/neck stiffness. You can't tell from the picture, but the forward facing part (where the computer would press against) also includes more of the rubber padding that you can see on the flat part of the stand. So, don't worry about any scuffs happening to your pretty aluminum Macbook Pro or Air. The color also matches completely, so it looks like it was created by Apple as well. I'm a picky person, but I literally have no complaints!

I do most of my work on a MacBook Pro because I like the portability of it. As an academic, sometimes the halls outside my office can be a bit too noisy and chaotic to focus and get work done. But I was getting a lot of tension headaches at the end of a long day, and I came to realize that it was caused by tension building up in my neck and shoulders from hunching over the laptop all day. So I bought this stand for my office (along with the Logitech wireless solar keyboard for Mac) so that at least when I'm working in my office I can put the screen at eye level. Another option I considered was connecting the MacBook to a desktop monitor, but this seemed more convenient for easy setup and takedown. I'm very happy with it. It is constructed of a solid piece of aluminum, just like the MacBook, and the color match is pretty much perfect. It holds my 13" MacBook Pro and my MacBook Air perfectly and it is very sturdy. Some of the other options I looked at were a bit less expensive, but they also looked like they put the computer in a precarious position. The mStand is very solid, with sturdy rubber feet on the bottom where it contacts the desk surface, and on the top to hold the computer in place. You would really have to whack the thing hard to knock it over. It's very aesthetically attractive and looks like it was made specifically for the Mac. In fact I've received compliments on it from other Mac users who are very envious of it. Love it! Oh yeah, and the tension headaches seem to have gotten a lot fewer and farther between since I started using it, so I think it achieved its main purpose.

Received our second MacBook stand in the mail today. Loved the first one we bought last year so much that I had to get one for my new assistant. This unit has such an ingenious design. It arrives in safe, protective packaging and arrives as one single piece. There is no assembly required. You pull it out of the box and you're done. Put it on the top of your desk, place your laptop on top and adjust the laptop screen so you can see it. Bingo!!! Its the perfect height and it swivels - bonus! There is a hole in the center. When I remove my laptop, I use the hole to secure my internet connection for when I return rather than let it fall to the floor. I bet the manufacturer didn't realize there was a use to the raindrop hole. To go with this stand I bought a solar powered wireless keyboard. The combination is a dream. It frees up your desk space so you can spread out and work on files. It is ridiculous to have your laptop on the top of your desk and give up the space. Get this same set up and you have multiple choices for keyboards. Everyone in my office now wants one. Note, within 30 minutes of setting this up I spilled an entire glass of water on my desk. I could have easil If my review helped influence your decision in any way, please feel free to mark that its been useful.y zapped my laptop at that moment. This stand saved me thousands on its first day in use. What is my recommendation? BUY THIS UNIT TODAY. I highly recommend it to everyone. This really should be, if its not already, an award winning piece of office equipment for its design simplicity, its ruggedness, and overall use capacity. Brilliant.

I saw many of the reviews who had used this with a 15" laptop, and wondered how well it would work with my 17" MBP. I don't know anyone that owns one, so I was a little uncertain. No worries - it works PERFECTLY! See the image I loaded that shows it in use, along with a 22" Gateway monitor, and a 24" HP monitor that complete my workstation. The design leaves room underneath the unit, which is great for extra storage, or sliding a keyboard under (although it's not quite high enough if you tried to type under it). Solid construction that should last, quite simply, forever. The unit positions the laptop's screen to a height that works perfectly with my other external monitors. Interestingly enough, the packaging it came in even reminded me of how Apple would have packaged it. It's a wonderful product that fills an obvious need, and is one of those "why didn't I think of that" items. Simple design, beautiful, and very functional.

I know there are already thousands of 5-star reviews for this stand, but I feel compelled to post yet another one. I recently decided to simplify my life by doing away with a laptop and iMac, keeping them in sync, etc. I bought a new 15-inch MacBook Pro, configured it, and put it on this stand and I couldn't be happier! The stand quality is such that you can't tell it from something Apple manufactured themselves. The Space Grey color matches my laptop perfectly, even down to the actual finish quality. The pass-through hole in the rear of the stand helps neatly manage any cables from the side of my laptop, adding to the overall neatness. If you're on the fence about purchasing this product, don't hesitate any longer. It's a perfect solution to keep your MacBook Pro display exactly at eye level, and it also keeps it close to you so you can use the TouchBar. If you have a pull-out drawer for your keyboard and mouse, like I do, it's even better. I can now position the stand (and MacBook) at the exact distance I want from my eyes. Oh, it's VERY stable, and if you needed to type on it, that would not be a problem at all.

Not only is this stand stylish (it seem like something Apple would make), but it is at a great height and incline for typing, and there is plenty of space underneath my laptop to store my external hard drive... the cat also likes to lay under there. :) I highly recommend this product. UPDATE (2-22-18): I'm still using and loving this stand, although the cat no longer fits under it so easily.

I really like this stand! It suits my 15" Macbook Pro perfectly. Nice matching aluminum material. Very solid. Even with the clear shell I have on the Mac. It keepa my mac safe above my bar surface. Its almost worh getting as an insurance policy against spills. I added a bluray drive and USB/card reader port to the underside... so it is more of a utility dock now. Great setup!

The mStand 360 is an amazing stand. I love how it is built from a single piece of aluminum and looks amazing on my desk. It fits my Macbook Pro 15" extremely well and raises it up to the height of my monitor easily. Not only does it help me improve my posture, but it also neatens up my desk significantly. I can easily fit an external keyboard under my Macbook when I am not using it, clearing up space. The hole in the back is also useful for bunching cables together that go directly into my Macbook, keeping my cables off the floor when I take my Macbook to go somewhere. The stand feels very stable, with no chance of my Macbook falling off. The aluminum C shape does have a slight bend on it if you put extra weight on it, but all in all, it feels very sturdy. The rubber padding on the stand also keeps the stand from scraping or damaging any part of my laptop and I feel very comfortable trusting the stand with my laptop. I would not recommend typing on a laptop keyboard while it is on the stand, but it works great with external keyboards. The swivel feature met my expectations, allowing the laptop to be easily turned. Thankfully, it was not too easy to turn and my laptop does not turn itself when in the stand. It is a nice feature to have, especially because I paid only 5$ extra for it (the price for the swivel stand seems to have increased since then). I am very happy with my purchase, even though it did seem a little expensive. I am wholly satisfied that I spent the extra 20$ to get a great laptop stand that will probably last for years.

Fantastic product! I bought this for my home recording studio so that I could have my 15" MacBook Pro behind my midi keyboard. This stand is a perfect match to my MacBook Pro and the quality is excellent. For me it was just the right height so that it clears my midi keyboard :)

At first I was skeptical about the purchase, since it's not necessarily cheap, and many would say a couple of old thick books would get the job done. I do a lot of video and photo editing which means I can spend 5+ hours a day on my laptop. I became cautious about the health impacts of doing this, certainly the damage it does to your posture and consequently how you walk afterwards. The mStand elevates the screen to a much better height for day to day viewing where you don't have to bend your neck to look down at your screen. The screen is still slightly below eye level for myself (6'4") however works completely fine. Yes, a couple of thick books will also raise your screen, however I'd much rather spend $40 on something that looks extremely elegant and is identical in design to my MacBook Pro. Furthermore I can stow my bluetooth keyboard under the stand. Build quality is 9/10, very well built, looks elegant however when you type on your laptop it is prone to slight bounce/flex which is understandable since they wanted to keep the weight as low as possible. I highly recommend this product, I even brought it with me abroad as I moved somewhere else.
