I bought one for myself and then decided that they were so amazing; that I just had to buy another two as gifts for my cousins, who were both looking for make up brushes. If you keep these clean then they will have very minimal shedding. I bought mine in July, 2018 and I am writing this review in March, 2019 to let you know that these are must haves. If you are looking for a great deal in the beauty department, I would say this is it!!! The brushes themselves are soft and give flawless finishes to the make up. I absolutely loved the eyeshadow brushes because they give you a variety, which all work together well. It comes with instructions for the purposes of each of the brushes, so you really can't go wrong! I would completely buy this product again... but for now, it looks like I still don't have to. One thing though, is the smell of when it comes in. A little chemically, but nothing a good gentle wash, dry and airing out for a few hours wont fix! Hope this helped!

Best brush ever

Wayyyy better than my MAC brushes. Softer than my MAC brushes. Does not shed like my MAC brushes. When I use my MAC brushes, i have a lot of bristles left on my face. People say "oh youhave hair on your face" or "you have eyelash" these brushes are really great. And for the price and what it comes with. Really recommend this product.

The beauty blender isn't something that I really like after trying it

The beauty blender isn't something that I really like after trying it, it isn't because of quality or anything wrong with the product but just a personal preference. Having the uses on the bag is nice but people usually have bags of their own for their brushes, so even with it being convenient it isn't necessarily practical since it comes in a plastic bag. However the brushes are great and there weren't any problems with is. Just make sure to clean everything before use since it gets up close and personal with your skin.

I have plenty of make up brushes and really didn't feel that I needed more, but wanted to try these since they were different shapes than I have...and the positive reviews helped seal the deal. I received these yesterday and out of the box they seem like any other brushes. When I used them, wow! I love the variety, firmness, look, feel, and quality of these brushes over all my others. I immediately went online and bought another set for a gift.

Good set of soft brushes. Great for blending and you cant beat the price. No odor issue with the set I received. ***UPDATE*** Been using these brushes for a few months and they are holding up great. I am honestly shocked at how good the quality is for the cost. I especially ended up loving the foundation and contouring brushes, which is weird because I am a beauty blender junkie (didn't love the blender that came with the kit, but it's definitely not anywhere near the worst I've used either) but the foundation brush works so well that I find myself reaching fro it every day and just using the blender to "perfect" and press the foundation in a bit more afterwards. The eyeshadow brushes are also great. Honestly, I have TONS of brushes, cheap and expensive, and I tend to reach for these most often now. I really wasn't expecting that! Buying a second set as a back-up. *******UPDATE***** It's been about a year since I bought the first set and my brushes are still all in perfect condition and remain the ones I reach for everyday. I love them so much that I've started buying this set as a "starter" set for all my friends and family who take an interest in Make-up. Bought a set for my youngest sister in October and now I am buying a set to gift my middle sister so she'll have the tools to achieve beautiful make-up looks and hopefully catch the Beauty Bug, too.

I don't understand why anyone would leave a bad review on theses brushes. *Unless they arrive broken then I would understand* BUT , here's a 100% honest opinion from a makeup junkie. I receive my package today. Lucky nothing arrived broken. It was packaged very well & in a neat way. I unpackage each brush . One by one . I always read reviews before I buy, I was expecting a smell from theses brushes because that's what I Seen most of from the reviews I read. & YES it's true . There is a some what strong odor when you smell the brushes even the "beauty blender" and brush cleaner. But they are $1O damn dollars . You can't expect everything to be perfect with theses. If that's what you're looking for go spend a check on brushes and stop looking for some on amazon!! Anyways A quick wash is all you need. All I did was get my cheap ass E.L.F brush cleaner & "cleaned" one by one ; the smell came off immediately. Which is a plus. Now to the brushes them self. They're super soft & from the looks and feel. I am confident that they will be getting the job done. I am super happy with this purchase and I do not mind rebuying them at all.

Great Brushes!!!

Perfect set of brushes! I had read many reviews on these brushes and was a little skeptical about ordering them because so many reviews were saying they had a bad smell to them, but I really liked the way these were made so I gave it a try. I am so very happy that I did. These are great brushes. Absolutely no shedding and no chemical smell at all. If your looking for a quality set of brushes and don't want to spend a fortune on those high end brushes then this is the set for you. They are made very well and it is nice to have all the brushes you could ever need in one set. They were packaged very well and arrived very fast. These are fantastic! So glad that I ordered them...will be ordering more for family and friends.

Great Product

As I am writing this review I am doing my makeup with these brushes. I was really expecting a ok job With them,but they did more then ok it was an amazing deal for a amazing set the Beauty blender is very soft and works really well. It also came with a list of the brushes and how to use them which is really handy. I'm happy I found this amazing set. Will definitely recommend buying this set to friends and family.

Totally worth it!!!

These brushes are surprisingly awesome. The beauty blender alone would cost more from another brand. The brushes are really soft and do not shed. There is a really small one that is perfect for close to your eyes and nose. The contoured bristles of other brushes help get the makeup just where you want it. The cleansing pad/cup (?) smelled like petroleum at first, but after a few days and a wash in soapy water it went away. Totally worth the money. I'd buy it again if for some reason I needed to.
