I like these things! I'm an old man (34) pulled my deck out to show the youngsters what's up and was a little rusty. Seen these and gave um a shot. Figured they would be good for the kids to learn on....better than the grass or carpet I did a few decades ago. Wish I would have invented them

A little tricky to install, but it just took a little elbow grease to fit them kn. My son uses these on his first board I bought him. He has been collecting skateboards for a couple of years and these will help him to practice and perfect his ground tricks

My kid kept trying to get me to buy these and I consistently refused since I'm old school. I figured if a kid really wants to learn they should do it on the sidewalk skinned knees and all. Then I realized how expensive health care is and bought them. Now I realize these are genius. I was back to doing Ollies in no time. Oh, and my kid starting to get the hang of it too! These are definitely a confidence booster for the kids and sometimes thats all they need to get going!

So I saw about 100 YouTube ads (and Braille Skateboarding's YouTube video) about these things, so with some of my Christmas money, I thought "what the heck... I'm still learning, so these should help". Turns out I was very right! These have immediately improved my tricks and I've almost been able to shuv right after just learning how to ollie! These will immediately improve your ability to do tricks and also these help you from falling over. and over. and OVER, so you can also protect yourself and your dignity. These things are durable and they look sweet on my board. They do say in all of the promo stuff "You don't land back in the crack and you don't get pop on grass or carpet", which I was a little skeptical about until I got these and realized they're 100% right. [also you can practice manny balance in your house! :) The only downsides I have with it aren't too bad at all, only two minor issues, which are: 1. The things are SO DANG HARD to get on the wheels at first, but with practice it's super easy. (Some people get these on PENNY WHEELS o_0 I don't know how though.) 2. The trainers constantly need to be adjusted (after each trick) to optimize the steadiness of the board. Often you can land on one of the corners of the trainers, or they move back and forth, which is a thing you have to fix (it takes like two seconds so it's not a problem at all) I have seen some people worried these do damage to the bearings, don't worry broskis, these are aight for your bearings. ;) I don't often give things a five-star but these things are legit! Definitely worth the buy, and they come with a skater trainer logo sticker, so that's sweet! Don't let the look compared to the price fool you, these are the original and they're extremely durable!

Amazing product where were these in 1987 ?? Iam 43 , could never really Ollie very well . Started skating with my kids .. Before these I wiped out practicing which is bad at 43. These are very cool and allow u to practice with out the board rolling out on you . I was able to practice with out slamming myself on the missed landing. I was able to get more practice in ( no fetching) and with out hurting myself. I recommend this to every skater.

Genius! Not only are these great for practicing tricks on concrete and letting you get out of the grass, I've also started using them as a hack at work! I have consistent sciatic issues and so I invested in a motorized sitting/standing desk about a year ago and have been using a standing mat that is really comfortable. My only issue with my mat is it doesn't do anything to help activate my core when I'm changing standing positions on a flat surface rather than activating my core with an uneven surface. My chiropractor recommended looking into standing balance boards or uneven mats and I quickly found how expensive they are! By bringing my skateboard to work with these grips on, I have the perfect DIY standing motion board! These rubber wheel grips keep the board perfecting in place and even though my HR guy was a little worried, he couldn't argue with its purpose and stability vs. another really expensive board someone else in the office had for their standing desk. Function in two areas of my life gets a 5-star rating from me! Also, want to address someone else mentioning them being hard to get on the wheel. While that's true its a bit tough, I see that as a sign of solid construction because it's not so tough that you need any assistance from anyone or anything besides your hands to get them on. I'm a 5'2" petite female who doesn't really have much muscle and was able to do get them on just fine :)

Before I got the skate trainers I practiced skating and trying to ollie for about 4 hours over a period of two weeks. After getting the skate trainers I was able to ollie after 5 minutes. These trainers allow you to learn the technique of the ollie quickly because you don't need strong stabilizer muscles or great balance to do the trick. Now all I need to do is skate more to build the muscles and improve balance. TIPS: Tighten your trucks. This will make it easier to balance. The most helpful youtube video I found on learning to ollie was this one: How To Ollie by VLSkate

Hello Internet! I can skateboard, but I couldn’t Ollie! Now I can! It’s simply unrealistic to practice Ollies on grass. While you stay steady, you never get that “kick off the ground” sound. With the SkaterTrainer, I learned to Ollie my first day; in one hour no less. When I got more comfortable, I took off the front two trainers, until I had no more trainers on, and Ollied.

I can't find words to describe how happy I'm with my skater trainer, I never tough in a million years that I would be able to pop an Olli at my age "36", and just after a few weeks I'm hoping like a grasshopper, I really really recommend this product.

I am 33 years old and consider myself a new learner. The only experience I had skating was achieving a sloppy stationary Ollie on a Toysrus board with plastic trucks back when I was 12 or so, over 20 years ago. Skater Trainers had me ollying in under half an hour, and I am get a smoother more natural Ollie than I ever did as a kid. Not worrying about sticking the landing, or having to deal with the wheels moving around while preparing to Ollie frees you up to focus on the movement. Obviously the training wheels will have to come off eventually, but practicing while they're on is so much more efficient and productive. If you are a new learner these will shave hours and hours and hours off the learning curve, they really are an outstanding product.
