This karaoke machine is awesome! The sound is great, the lights are so cool, and it's so easy that my 6-year-old and 4-year-old can easily use it! The microphone that comes with it is good, but the "recommended" microphone that you can buy to complete the dual mic is even better (the all black one).

I had no idea that bright lights could amaze little faces so much! They literally stopped everything they were doing @ the party to stare at the lights. They were all lost in wonder................... absolutely LOVED the quality of the music! We bought a second microphone for our younger daughter so the 2 of them are able to talk, sing together (no fights). Also, I did buy the Mediabridge 3.5mm Male To Male Stereo Audio... which allowed us to stream music from anyone's iphone or Galaxy... even my kindle was used to access music from youtube. We even used our Ipad to stream our Wednesday night service @ church and wow... sound was crystal clear! I love good buys! I hope it lasts and continues to do what it was made to do.

If you have chromecast, just plug in the red av cord into the tv (you won't need the yellow or white), use your phone or tablet to cast YouTube and you have unlimited karaoke songs! Sound quality of the machine is good enough for home karaoke. The lights are cool, probably better at night but I tested this out during the day. My daughter's birthday isn't for several weeks but I wanted to make sure it worked well beforehand. Super easy to set up. Get the SMM 205 microphone for a second microphone, they are compatible and cheap. Get a 3.5mm cord if you want to play music through your phone or tablet. Easy peasy! It's worth it, I definitely recommend this machine.

Great quality for the price! Bought for my three year old twins and they love it. Bought the extra microphone to go with it so they wouldn't have to share. The microphones slide down these little holders on the side and the first day we had it, a screw came out so the holder won't work. (Can totally be replaced, but was slightly annoyed considering we had owned it a total of two hours). Overall good product. The blue tooth quality isn't the best (the music goes in and out a bit) but I do enjoy the fact that I can hook up my iPod to it. If you are strictly using the CDs, the sound is great.

Bought this for my dad's Christmas present, and we had a great time playing with it! My dad is a tech-savvy guy and already had a pretty intense tv/audio setup in his living room, so he was able to plug it in and dive in easily. Someone without that knowledge base or existing setup might take a bit longer but I really don't think it was that complicated. Added bonus: the lights memorized the young kids in the family, so they sat and stared at the lights while the rest of us sang and had a blast. I definitely recommend this as a fun gift.

My child loves to sing and this was the perfect gift!!!! For sure spend the extra $10 and get the Bluetooth version of this! Pair your machine to your device and sing the night away. Use YouTube to get music with lyrics, no need to buy CD. I use Chromecast to view iPad on my big TV! Such an great time for all the family.

Bought for a Christmas present. Great price on a toy for the kids. I tested it out and it works just fine. Bought the extra Mic. The machine has 2 mic holders on the sides. It's a toy....not a professional machine. You get what you pay for IMO. But this will provide hours of entertainment for the kids and adults. Don't expect the same quality as machines that cost over $100. It's worth $35 IMO

For the price, This is a nice little karaoke machine. I actually bought it for my grandchildren so my requirements are probably not the same as for, say, an adult party, but when I pulled it out of the box and tried it out I realized it would work very well for adults, too. (And the adults have taken over the unit once or twice!) There's a CD player on top that will play CDs or CD-Gs. The unit comes with the cords necessary if you want to plug the unit into your TV and get the words on the screen for your CD-Gs. I haven't tried this function yet, mostly because the first CD-G I bought for the grandchildren was Frozen, and they know all the words to every song. There have been moments when I regret that CD purchase--if I hear Let it Go one more time I may put my head through the wall. You can adjust mic volume and echo in addition to the regular volume. The sound is great for such a small box. The front of the unit flashes with multi-colored lights. It comes with one microphone so if you're looking to have more than one singer or sing duets, you might want to pick up another one. It's a nice solid unit, not like some of the kids' players I've seen, and I expect to be able to use it with my little singers for many years to come. One of the best features is there is a place to plug in your AUX--your phone or tablet--so you can play virtually all your own music. You will need to buy the cord that connects the AUX to the unit, but for little ones who want to sing "What Does the Fox Say," it's perfect.

I bought this after time at my seasonal job, a coworker who loves karaoke bought it off another coworker, and I got lucky enough to see it in action at a birthday potluck. I fell in love with it, and the owner highly recommended it, so I bought a few cdg karaoke cds (Disney, cause most of the party ones have too old of songs for my tastes). We'll, we never did karaoke the rest of the season and I wanted to make sure my xD got some use, so I bought one for myself. The shipping was fast and I had it before I got back from a family outing earlier today! My two cdg' s work beautifully with it, and it became a fun activity for my niece and I to do through the afternoon. I'm already gonna throw a Christmas party with some karaoke involved (once my 68 pack of songs arrive :) ) and I look forward to finding more songs to karaoke to with this great machine! P.S. if anyone's curious, the two sample songs it comes with are; Cheap Thrills & I took a pill in Ibiza P.P.S. I don't know if the CD is different each time, but that's what mine came with.
