Holy hell does this thing scare the crap out of you when you practice use it! The hubs jumped back and his eyes grew the size of frisbies. I have no doubt this would protect me even though the size is very small. Buying one for my niece now.

Love this little thing

I am visually impaired and walk with white cane in one hand. This little stun gun fits hidden in my left hand, and I turn the very bright flashlight on at night to make myself more visible. I keep the stun function ready with my thumb on the button. It makes a startlingly loud 'ZZZ!!' sound in the 1 second test burst. I got this because I've had sketchy (meth heads?) people try to forcefully 'help' me across the street against the lights. I know the sound of this alone will scare them off, but I am sure I could stun someone if need be.

Purchased for a friend- she loves it!

I ordered this for a petite female friend of mine who lives on her own because she was nervous when she got home late and had to walk into her apartment alone. It arrived quickly and was easy to charge and make ready for use. The size is great for her to throw it in her purse and it really did make her feel more safe when she was alone. Activating the button alone would probably be deterrent enough to someone who thought about trying someone, but we didn't test the stun gun out or anything, but I've been tased for training before and it is NOT a sensation I wanted to EVER experience again and I expect that this would similar to a drive stun from a taser. I'm not saying that this stun gun will make anyone any safer, but it could definitely help deter an attacker if the operator is alert and has time to use it. Constantly being alert and aware of surroundings is the ultimate safety measure, but I feel like this could help someone feel a little less vulnerable. Not to mention, it comes in a fun girly color!

As of now, this is a perfect little taser! Bright flashlight and WOW is it loud! I love that there is no charging cord, plugs right into an outlet. I don't have anyone volunteering to let me try it on them, so I just have to hope if I ever need to use it the sound alone will deter and if not, it will debilitate long enough to get away.

Compact stun gun with a loud sound.

Very compact stun gun. Easily fits into a pants pocket or small purse. I haven't tested it on anyone, but the noise it makes when activated is enough to scare the heck out of most people or animals. The LED flashlight is quite bright and the carrying pouch is nice to have. My girlfriend likes the purple color. She prefers to carry this over pepper-spray. I will buy more for myself and loved-ones.

I was a little skeptical and hesitant to rely on a product this inexpensive. I tested the stun gun on a 250 lb male (lucky me, it was kind of fun), and it deterred him immediately! The flashlight feature is also great! I use it when I walk from my car to my house at night and I love it. Its much more accessible than using a phone flashlight and you already have your defense out if you need it. This product packs quite the punch for the price. I trust it with my safety.

Definitely Works!

I re-ordered this item because my dog got a hold of the last one and chewed off the end. No, she didn't get shocked or stunned thankfully, lol. But this product is fantastic and has actually saved me a couple times. I am a single female who works swing shift and more than once I have had to stop and get gas on the way home at 1 or 2 in the morning. I am always watching out behind me, in case anyone attempts to approach me in a not so friendly/appropriate manner, which they have. Immediately, both instances, I took the stun gun out of my pocked, flipped the switch from off to flash light to stun gun and put my thumb on the black button, ready to press it at a moment's notice. Both individuals had different reactions. One person immediately stopped in his tracks and walked away. The other put their hands up in the air and said "I don't mean no disrespect! Please don't hurt me!" And just the sight of it made them leave me be. So yes, this stun gun gets the job done. I have not used it on an individual and hope that I never have to, but the compact size and the flash light that comes with it is very handy and I have used the flash light on many occasions in dark places. The battery life is excellent and one charge lasts months. I will continue to be a Vipertek customer and will always sing it's praises. Thank you Vipertek for creating a wonderful product that makes me feel safe no matter where I am at!
