The Brightech LightView Has Saved My Favorite Hobby!!!!!

I absolutely love, love, love my Brightech LightView Flex. It has saved my favorite hobby of cross stitching. My sight is getting worse due to age and the light in my house is not very good. I had to set my last project down for 2 years, sadly. After searching and reviewing many lights with magnifying glass I chose the Brightech LightView Flex. It has saved my favorite creative and artistic hobby. I am back to cross stitching and I cannot say enough good things about this light and magnifying glass. I can now SEE what I am doing and it has even improved my stitching. I am so pleased that I am again able to sit in the evening and do my stitching. I even use it during the day, as the magnifying glass helps me keep my stitches more beautifully done. I am so very happy with my purchase. Wow I love how bright the light is and magnification is awesomeness!!!

I went back to cross stitch and I tried everything, I had an Ottlite and a pair of reading glasses. Reading glasses gave me headaches and it still was not good enough. I had to have it big and bright enough to see where and how I was stitching. I have my project on a scroll frame so it was harder. I saw a review on this product that caught my eye and she said it was amazing that it saved her hobby! This light is so bright it can be used for almost anything. Easy setup, very strong clamp OMG need 2 hands to really clamp it on something. Love that feature. The magnifier was amazing and completely free to do any craft. It’s flexible so you can bend it how you need and sit comfortably on a recliner and do your project. Even how unlady like you sit lol.. you can actually be comfy and do a craft and be comfy watching tv!! It is affordable that wont break the bank either. I love this product so much that Inam ordering another one

great light!

I am a professional seamstress who needed a good magnifying lamp for doing fine hand work or ripping out black stitches on black fabric. this light does everything i want. the goose neck is the longest i could find and i like that it is covered in a silicone like material. the light is very bright and the daylight quality gives good color sense. the magnifying lens is glass, fairly heavy, and is the sharpest I have seen. The spring on the clamp is REALLY strong. You almost need 2 hands to open it. Similar to a really large pony clamp. That was just what I need because I'm clamping to the overhead cabinet to keep my work surface free for fabric. The silicone like pads on the clamp keep it from slipping. I'm in love!

LOVE THIS QUALITY LAMP!

LOVE THIS LAMP! No shadows whatsoever and the clamp is so strong. The quality of this product is excellent. I am voluntarily giving this review with no benefit to myself besides the joy of sharing a product I am so pleased with and excited about. See the photo to show there is no shadows. Magnifier is such an invaluable addition to this as well. It is saving me from having to spend money on new lenses for my glasses. I plan to use it for coloring and zentangle as well to reduce eye strain. Thank you so much for making this high quality lamp available at a reasonable price!

Cheat mother nature and forget your poor eyesight! Great for painting miniatures.

I am in love with this product. I bought this item on my own; no one has paid me to do a review etc. I purchased this because for years now, I have been painting D&D miniatures. I love painting them for our games (yes I am a big geek) and just for collection purposes. But, for those of you who are familiar with these pewter miniatures, they are tiny and very difficult to see even if you have great eyesight. After having a break from minis for about two years, I went back to my hobby and discovered that my eyes have finally degenerated to the point where I can no longer paint them even with my glasses and bifocals on. So, after much sadness, I decided to try out a magnifying glass. This thing is a dream for people like me. The LEDs are super bright, the snake neck is very pliable and can be moved in all directions which helps to maintain a proper posture, and the clamp is nice and secure without feeling flimsy. The clamp itself does have rubber protectors so that if you clamp it onto your hardwood desk or other delicate surfaces, it will not leave scratches. My only regret is that I did not order this earlier!

Great light!

Revised my review. At first I thought it wasn't as bright as my other craft light. Then I turned them on side by side, and realized I really need this at my makeup vanity! It's amazing! The clip on is sturdy, the lamp is streamlined. I initiated a return at first, but now I'm keeping it.

Lightweight, streamlined and very bright!

First, I did not receive this lamp for free, or at a discount, "in return for my unbiased review". I paid full price. When I first saw the box, it looked far too small to have a clamp lamp in it. But after opening it, assembling it and clamping it to my desk, I was amazed. The lamp is really very bright for its size! I had an older, bulkier desk clamp lamp before, with a gooseneck, and this Brightech is brighter, despite being smaller. The gooseneck is metal, with a rubberized coating and is very secure and firm. You can bend it as needed, and it stays in place nicely. The magnifying lens is very powerful, and works quite well in concert with the LEDs which surround it. Shipping was lightning fast, as well. I highly recommend this lamp.

Exceptional lighting for a reasonable price.

I was really amazed by this light. I did not buy it for magnification, I needed a very bright lamp that I could clip on my headboard so I could work on fine needlework in bed. I have a neuromuscular disease and some days I need to spend a lot of time there. The clip is very strong, the light is very bright. The gooseneck could be longer and hold its shape better, it tends to droop and has limited range of motion. I have actually allowed it to rest on my head, illuminating my work perfectly. I plan to try attaching it to my hospital type bed table to see if that works better, or allows me to take advantage of what appears to be an excellent magnifier. The quality of the light for the price is exceptional, and worth the drawbacks. I have the largest Ott lamp available by my chair and this is brighter.

If your in need of a magnifier with a built-in light buy this model!

This is the best tool I've bought for my mother that has trouble reading her mail and other daily tasks. I bought this so she could do her daily tasks without needing to hold a magnifying glass the whole time to see. When I set it up she immediately saw the difference and lit up with joy that she was finally able to read and see again to do her activities and she says it's the best thing ever! Pros: -A strong clamp that will hold the light and magnifier in place -Long and flexible gooseneck that allows the user to position the glass where they want it without it snapping back to a different position when let go -No batteries! -Solid build with no pieces that feel like they will break anytime soon. Cons: -The cord is on the shorter side but with an extension cord, this is easily fixed. -Could use multiple settings on the light as it is extremely bright but in a good way. If you were able to switch between high, medium, or low power settings, I think this would benefit a lot of users because full brightness isn't always needed.

Very good hobby LED light

Was made from better quality materials than I expected for low price. Bright LED lights, nice magnifying lens. Nice flexible arm. Use for my scroll saw. If the flexible arm was slightly longer it would improve it for my needs. Very happy with the purchase and will probably order more
