These lights are fantastic! I love the brightness, ease of setup, and the motion sensing. I love that I don't have to worry about changing out batteries. I installed these in my Stack On Safe. It makes it very easy to see what I'm doing in the safe, in addition to making my collection look very impressive when opening the door. I was able to adhere the lights with the included adhesive, even to the carpeted interior. I used gaffe tape to secure some of the excess cable in the corners, which worked like a charm. Absolutely love this setup, great price and a great product.

These little guys are going to be the bomb. The problem that we have is that other lights will only shine straight down. So, you will see them stuck to the bottom of your cabinet. These come with a 45 degree angle that allows you to mount them to the front face of the underside so that they shine down, but towards the back. It eliminates the ugly strip hanging in the center of the cabinet and keeps them hidden. We haven't been able to mount them yet because we plan on using them in the garage and it's too cold to work on it right now. They come with 3M Tape which won't hold, but they can also be mounted with screws on each end, which we will use instead. I'm looking forward to actually installing them. After we received them, we held them up in our kitchen and they shed a LOT of even light down on to the counters. We will drill a small hole though the edge of the cabinets for the connectors so that they stay hidden as well. Should be great for task lighting. I wish I could find these exact lights in a zwave RGBWW. I'd buy them for my kitchen! Also, it would be nice if they came with small installation screws. So, don't forget to buy some before you install because the tape is junk.

I bought this LED set to light up the interior of my safe. My safe is in my garage which has lights but they are not nearly bright enough to make finding things in the back of my safe easy. This set has six LED bars that come off of a motion sensor. The sensor has two power lines so the lights can be strung from a central point going opposite directions or the bars can be strung in a single chained line going one direction. My light set also contained spacer wires so the light bars could be spaced further apart to meet different configurations if needed. One nice feature besides the spacer wires is the fact that all the light bars and the sensor come with sticky tape on them. I had no problem mounting all the components to my safe walls which have the felt like covering most safes come with. So just a few things about the lights and installing them. First, these lights are very bright, far brighter than I expected and more than enough to light up my safe as you can see in the picture. My garage lights are on but the lights in the safe make them seem feeble. I mounted the lights going up the sides on the front inside corners and mounted the sensor on the side wall by the safe door. Play with the setup before pulling the sticky tape. Depending on the size of your safe you may want to arrange the lights differently and you don't want to ruin the adhesive on the tape before you are ready to mount them where you want them. Second, I suggest going to a craft or fabric store and getting some Velcro wrap, which is hook on one side and loop on the other so it's all one piece. I used this to secure and cover the longer run wires which: a) I think looks better and b) Keeps the wires safe and out of the way when putting things in or taking things out of the safe. One last thing, mount the sensor close to door where it is least likely to get blocked. I was tempted at first to hide it in the back where it would be less noticeable and less wire to hide, but as the safe fills up the sensor is less likely to see through the massive forest of steel barrels and stocks. I ended up mounting mine on the sidewall near the door opening and covered the wires with the Velcro tape. The sensor turns on when the door opens. To wrap it up, these lights are bright, easy to install, has flexible installation options, the sensor works great, and I would buy these again without question.

I ordered the 5K brightness and it made a vast improvement in my kitchen lighting, In fact I changed my soffit lights to newer LED 5K lights, these old ones were making my cabinets look dingy compared to these lights. I love the motion sensor feature. It is true to its measured distance of 25 feet, I cant get anywhere near the kitchen without them turning on. Great feature vs fumbling for a switch late in the night going to the kitchen. I used the plugin for the Microwave I removed located above the stove in a small cabinet. I thought I would have to extend wires as some reported doing. Thankfully I did not I used a few extension cables and drilled a few holes to run the wires along the inside of the cabinets and out the bottom where I mounted them. I did have one issue with the mounting, If you uses screws ( not included) to mount them your stuck having them shine that way only because the way the wire connectors are run your forced to shine the light in a certain direction, not so if you use the sticky tape applied to the light strip. I came up with the idea of using cable loop mounts on each side of the strip where you can actually pivot the light strip which makes it adjustable if mounted in this fashion. With some R&D from the Mfgr this could easily be incorporated into the base mount on the light strips.

Great lights. Ordered two sets, one for me and a relative. Installed them both. This kits has almost all you need to install under cabinet lights. Power supply, switch, lights and a few linking cables (not always required). My cabinet had some unconventional distances under them so I did some cutting of the wires and soldered them back together (advanced) with some heat shrink tubing. Not required but it allowed me to have custom lengths for my runs. I like the switch so I can turn the off/on without unplugging them. What is needed that isn't in box: --Extra 3M double sided tape for extra sticking power. --Adhesive plastic wire clips to secure to under cabinet.

Here is a picture of the inside of the wire connectors. Each one is only 12" long and the kit doesn't come with any extras, so it's impossible to reach multiple kitchen cabinets if you have a height difference, stove, or any other obstacle. But it's just plain red/black wire that you can easily extend with more wire and black electrical tape. I used an old Motorola phone charger cable. Use a wire stripper to expose the wire. Largest setting on the stripper to expose the two black and red wires. Then use the smallest setting to strip the red/black wires.

Super bright perfect for my new Liberty safe and much cheaper than the Liberty kit. I bought this kit and installed in my safe I like this kit since it uses an actual switch rather than the motion activated type since it frees up a space in my power strip. Would recommend that anyone who is looking for a compact light solution for their gun safe.

Just received these but thus far am happy with the product. They produce a lot of light when all 6 are attached and will suit my needs for in cabinet lighting just fine. The strips can be connected together without use of the supplied extensions and successfully run parallel to one another with an approx 2.5 - miles 3 inch gap between strips. You could squeeze them closer together but would put strain on the wiring. A couple things to note: 1. They can only be mounted at a 45 degree angle. As seen in the pictures, the light strips are a diamond shape with 3M strips on two sides and screw holes on one. Not a huge deal but noteworthy in the event one was planning to mount so the lights faced straight down. 2. Do NOT buy the extension cable and Y splitter that pops up as "frequently bought together". In the end you will get two other products that are not compatible with this LED light set. The connectors on the light set are "keyed" in a way that they're proprietary. The additional cables offered by amazon, while technically correct in the connector size department, will not work with the LED strips. Unless you plan to cut and splice, they are not plug and play.....I tried. This is just an FYI in the event you consider buying the trio together. I attached a photo showing the LED connectors (left two) vs extension cables discussed above (right two) to highlight their incompatibility.

After much research online and in stores, I finally decided on this kit because it looked easy to install - and it was! I took my time planning the layout to make sure I had enough space to run the lights. The kit does not have any extension cords so I looked around Amazon and found what I needed. I had lights on one side of the oven/microwave and had to run the extension over the top (I didn't want to drill holes) and dropped down the other side of the cabinets. I noted a space between the cabinets and I was able to run up and through through that. I got a Y connector to connect the switch to the other lights on the other side of the cabinets. Before I did all this, I tested the lights and they all worked fine. One thing that was mentioned in other posts is that the extension connections might have to be trimmed to fit all the way into the female end. But it is easy to figure out. The only thing I don't care for is that there is a yellowish tinge to the lights shining on a light colored wall and a whiter light in the middle. But it is pretty minor. Hopefully my pics will show that. The 3M tape is strong and the lights stuck firmly. All in all, a great setup at a great price. I did have to spend an additional $15 for the extensions, but it all worked. Also, you can order directly from Torchstar through their website for the specific extensions that fit. I found that out after I got all the other extensions. But they worked so it's all good.
