Everything works as it should

I bought this for use with a new MKS GEN L controller board. I already knew the cable connection shrouds were backwards (for use with the GEN L) so I just added some reliefs on the opposite side. With the module connected to the MKS GEN L, I plugged in a USB cable & uploaded the Marlin firmware I had configured earlier for use with the new board. Once the firmware was in, the opening logos showed up, then the status screen. I inserted a populated SD card in the slot & used the menu to open & view the SD card contents. Everything worked the way it should, LCD, encoder button, SD card reader, reset button & brightness pot all behaved properly. No complaints. I will be proceeding with the install in the ENDER 3 to replace the original LCD & control board.

Much better than a LCD

One simple change on the Marlin firmware and its Plug and play on my ramps 3D printer. The buzzer also works without changes so I now have notification when the print is done
