Exactly what I was looking for!

Works for Rats!

I don't normally write reviews, but I certainly read them when trying to make a decision. I took a gamble when purchasing this product because no one had written whether they used the Sandy Track for their pet rats. I wasn't sure this thing would be just the right amount of abrasive so it only "filed" nails rather than wearing down paw pads and increasing the risk for bumble foot. I waited a month and a half of letting my rats use it enthusiastically use it and inspecting their paws every night before bed. I have declared it safe now. It was a risk well-rewarded. I was starting to get allergic reactions to the scratches left by my rats when they climb my bare skin. Now I don't worry about it any more because this addition to their wheel files their nails just enough to where they don't leave any visible scratching on my sensitive skin. I'd recommend this product to anyone suffering a similar condition.
