Excellent! Great quality product.

Telescope cover for Celestron 127eq Powerseeker Telescope (Red Fox) -- So we have 3 telescopes in the house but none of them had dust covers. We do have carry bags for them but we prefer to keep the scopes mounted on their tripods so we can bring them out in the front yard without having to reassemble stuff. Yep, we're a little lazy. After looking around I was surprised at how expensive the dust covers were. Heck, 3 of them would have set us back close to $200!! We ordered this Red Fox cover to check it out since it appeared as though it would work with two of our scopes (Orion StarMax 127mm and Orion StarMax 90mm). Hey, for less than $19 it was worth a try. Needless to say, we were so impressed with the quality we bought a second one. Mind you, it just covers the tube, controls and the equatorial mount, not the full tripod, but that's all we need. The cover is indeed a sturdy vinyl with outer cloth covering. There are Velcro attaching straps to help it fit securely and keep it from getting blown off if you need to use it temporarily during an observing session. The seams are well-stitched and covered so this should last a long time. In addition, you can probably use this for any Cassegrain or very short tube Newtonian that isn't longer than about 18" from the front of the tube to the end of the viewing eyepiece assembly. Although I would not recommend leaving your scope in a non climate controlled area (covered porch, garage, etc.), this cover would be a good investment if you do. We really love these covers and really can't come up with any cons, we just wish they made one to cover our big 8" Newtonian scope.

This is a quality product for a small scope, such as the small reflector Celestron and Meade scopes. It is heavy enough that it does not look baggy and droopy -- as the picture shows.
