Good choice for teachers!

I ordered two of this surge protector strip to make a charging station for the classroom. To protect the phones from being yanked out by an accidental trip, I secured the strips to the desk with Command Velcro adhesives. I also selected plenty of iPhone and Android charger cables, to lend students who forgot, and the conventional plug sockets work nicely for those who remember. Just two strips provide outlets for 24 phones or devices, and in order to provide a nice place for the phones to rest, we simply covered the two boxes the surge strips came in with some white thermoreactive stickers I had left over from another project to make a fine pedestal, as shown. That way, should a phone overheat, the stickers will change color and warn us. All in all, this provides a fine value for a fairly modest investment and so far the students seem very happy with the option to safely charge their phones during class time. One student was especially pleased with one of the 2.1 amp USB slots, which, in just one class period, restored their phone from nearly dead to very nearly full. I myself like having someplace to charge my own phone, and it's nice to be able to share.

Finally a solution to the device charging mess

This was one of best purchases I've made

This was one of best purchases I've made. I work from home and was using two power strips for all my electronics. Many of them could use the usb plugs that this power strip has that made it possible to only need one. I'm considering purchasing another one and I highly recommend this high quality product.

Great and useful power strip. Has a decently long cord and it's extremely convenient in how it has 6 USB charging ports in adition to the 6 outlets.

Convenient Design.

Twelve ports are aligned in two rows of six, along a modestly rectangular shaped base. One row provides six ports for plugging in/powering up ordinary, grounded, AC cabled devices (computers, printers, lamps, etc.) Other row provides six ports for plugging in/powering up standard, 5 volt, USB cabled devices (DVD players, external computer drives, recharging Cell Phones/Amazon Fires and Readers/Netbooks/Laptops/Cameras, etc.) The Surge Protector's shape makes for efficient use of floor space. Why? Its modestly rectangular form avoids the skinny, over-elongated, commonly seen, "all ports set along a single row" shape. I purchased two HITRENDS Surge Protectors and am pleased with the product.

Like it has 6 slots for cables. Previously would jockey for electric outlet to charge devices. This does not take much space and we have more than enough slots to charge all our devices. Nice feature that power outlets on device came with safety covers

A very good surge protector

This protector looks so good and stylish. It seems a high quality protector, i am very happy with this choice. I am sure it can last more than year if i dont put so many electrical load on it. I have increased the load and it is working perfectly. Go for it.
