Back to like new!

I can't attest to the longevity of the screen, but it brought my 2DS back to like new. It also came with free screen protectors, which was a nice bonus. So far so good, hopefully it remains this way for a long time to come.

Perfect fit, worked out of the box

My son broke the LCD screen on his 2DS and I ordered this as a replacement. It is kind of a pain to replace but worked immediately out of the box. As far as he has told me, there was no difference in look or performance. It even includes a couple of screen protectors for the plastic covers that are not part of the LCD. Please note that you need a PH00 screwdriver and something like a plastic spudger to detach the cables, neither if which are included in the box. Some parts are so small a magnifying glass and help from somebody with small hands is also useful. There were no instructions or any paperwork in the box, but it is easy to find instructions online and probably more helpful anyway. There are a lot of screws to remove and some tiny cables to detach and put back, but at least there isn’t thick glue like on a phone. It is possible for a normal human being to replace it, just take your time and keep all the screws separated so you know where they go.

DS works great - like new!

This worked like a charm! The screen on a DS that we thought was lost is as good as new. Take your time, it would help to have a magnet board to hold the screws. You will need a 000 Phillips head screwdriver and about an hour (if you've never done this sort of repair before). I did it in about 45 minutes or so, with the help of an instructional video on you tube. Be sure to make note of where the screws were removed from so you can put them back in the proper place.

Worked and after I got the right screwdriver (the one recommended by amazom for this failed me.) was pretty easy to replace. Watch out for the camera! Mine was broken when I replaced it but it's not necessary for the games I play.
