Love It

As a family we are long time skylander fans. So far this game is up to par with the rest of the skylander series. We love being able to create new characters and the new puzzles. However, there are 2 things i wish could change. 1 The skylander characters are really adding up and taking up lots of space, especially if you have all series or most series. So hopefully they will make them digital so you can purchase codes for them and download them on line, 2. wish the crystals could hole more then one created character. Other then that we absolutely love these games

Fun Skylanders game

My boys love this game. They love how you can create your own characters to look how you want and do what you want...within the options they give you of course. You can also use all the older skylanders characters in this game.

New Skylanders

The next level of the Skylanders Saga, my grandson was thrilled when he opened it Christmas morning and it worked perfectly. The game did not disappoint. Any Skylanders player would find it easy to get into and very enjoyable.

My kid is loving it so far...

Our kid has been playing video games for close to three years now and has mastered quite a few regular games. We hadn't ventured into the whole realm of Skylanders before this and so far she seems to be having fun with it. We got a lot of mileage out of Super Mario 3D World and Yoshi's Wooly World so hopefully this one will have some staying power too.

The skylanders imaginators is very cool

I'm still trying to figure out the creation crystals but from what I've been able to do so far I'm liking this game. The graphics are beautiful. The challenges are enough to keep you interested. I'm glad I bought this

Great Game But Be Aware of Costly Add Ons

A nice addition to the Skylander's franchise, but it can be complicated for younger kids or those not familiar with other Sylander's games. The original Skylanders and Giants are simpler, since you only need to purchase the Skylander figures, but in later versions there are the figures plus additional items to purchase for users to utilize the full game. This means spending A TON of money on each game. For example, for Imaginators you need to purchase the figures plus creation crystals (and then additional mystery gear packages if you want to have all options for your player). Figures are about $15 a pop, $10 for crystals and $6 for mystery gear packages. ...... If you just play with the figures included, it would become boring very quickly. However, if you are able to purchase several other figures, the game is really immersive and interesting, something kids will always reach for (and adults enjoy as well). Bonus is that the figures are made well, my kids enjoy playing with them outside of the video game, and I appreciate that!

9 year old loves it!

I'm giving this a 5 star review because the 9 year old LOVES it! Lots of fun and he was super excited to be able to make new characters. Plus I got it for a fantastic price on Amazon. However, as a parent the sheer fact that each Sensei character is $15 and each Creation Crystal is $10 is just crazy...CRAZY EXPENSIVE!! Not to mention we have all of the Skylanders games and there were so many portals, characters and traps/crystals around my living room I had to get a storage container to house all of it. However, it makes my kid happy and he has fun playing it by himself and with his dad. Fun. That's what really matters right?

Skylanders Imaginators is revolutionary

I really cannot say enough about the Skylanders games. My son is eleven years old and has loved every single one of the Skylanders games. The fact that you can create your own Skylander for this particular version is outstanding. Even though this is a video game, it engages the children to be creative and use the minds to imagine and have fun. The great thing about this game is that the characters can be played with with the video game, and also without the video game. I highly recommend this video game for everyone from 5 years old and up....I've even had the opportunity to play this game with my son and I must admit it is tons of fun!
