Item is as described. I needed a wider surface for pressing quilt projects and had been considering this. Glad I purchased it. This board also will work for pressing other items where a wider surface than a typical ironing board provides. Well constructed and it is a bit heavy for setting up but worth the effort.Simple instructions for setting it up and do read them as the locks on each side of the board are important as well as the ones for storing it. No movement of the board when pressing. Cover is good and fits perfectly.

Just want I needed. It is perfect. I do a lot of quilting and it is perfect for pressing large pieces of fabric and laying out pattern pieces. I wish I would have gotten this years ago. A must for a quilter.

Must have if you quilt with 2.5 strips wide

I had originally purchased the better board for $140 at a local quilt shop. Thankfully it was damaged and I found it at Amazon for nearly 1/2 the price. Needless to say I took the original one I had purchased back the next day and ordered from Amazon. If you quilt using 2.5 strips, the Better Board is a must have.

Quilter's Dream board!

I wish I'd have had this years ago! Quilters need the extra space for pressing large fabrics and this is perfect. Easy to install on your board and a top is included. Love it!

Love it! A great addition to my sewing room.

It is so nice to have a high work surface. I don’t really use it for ironing, it is my cutting and work table for quilting. It’s also good for layering my quilts! It is kind of heavy, I don’t really take it down, it’s always set up for work. I’m really happy with it.
