You can install on three home computers, so the whole family can use it. We use it for designing laser cutting projects for a ULS Laser cutter. Works great. Side note, It would be nice to be able to lock the version that you save in for compatibility. The Coreldraw version at the makerspace that we use has X7 and X8's aren't readable. I invariably forget to save as x7 and end up having to recopy the file. You'd think I'd learn by now.

I have used Corel Draw for years. Once familiar with the program, you can do almost anything. Graphics, photo editing, mechanical drawings and much more. There is not enough room to list all of the things I have done with this program. It will amaze you. Easy to convert files for simple insertion into other programs.

I recently had to buy new computer and it had W10. So, I had to get Coreldraw X8 since my old Coreldraw 12 wouldn't work on W10 (even though 12 worked fine on W7). No problems opening and working with older 12 drawings. However, Capture is acting funky, not like in 12. In 12 in W7, capture settings would remain every time I booted up. Not so with Capture X8 in W10. Every time I boot up, I have to reset everything, i.e. capture area, activation key, and options. Emails with Corel support didn't help. I'll blame it on MS and W10!

Installed and works perfectly under Windows 10 pro 64bit. I've been using CorelDraw since the late 80s for hobby work. It's progressively gotten better and better. X8 is no exception. Upgrading from X6 I've found several annoyances have been fixed (large PDF generation works properly now, for example). The biggest complaint was disappearing menus after upgrading to Windows 10 which X8 fixes.

I had Corel X6 on my laptops and was having issues and decided to update. I would have liked to purchase the X9 package on sale for same price but it only allows for 2 licensed upgrades. I wanted to upgrade my desktop as well so I went for X8 that allows for use on 3 personal devices. I have used Corel for decades and love it not only for its features and ease of use but also because they have NOT gone to the subscription model. I stopped using brand A years ago when they went to the subscription model. I believe a lot of users feel this way but wish Corel would stick with 3 licensed computers for personal use. I only use one computer at a time as is intended but it gives me the flexibility to have a laptop at a second home in a location without any Internet service so I don't have to lug it on the plane.

Purchased to enhance and touch up photos. I had no previous experience and was able to fix my first photo in about an hour. I gave it a 5 but the help feature refers to tools without showing their icon or location. I had to search tool names using Google to get the icon and location. Corel could reduce learning curve times by adding icons and location of tools in help AND adding pop up tool descriptions if you hoover over tool icons for 3 seconds.

Have used this program for years. Love the new tools. Would buy it again.

I finally got a new PC... had an Apple for a couple years AND HATED IT and its EVIL design software Adobe Photoshop and others!!!...The one main reason I hated Apple was that I couldn't use CorelDRAW on it. I am SO HAPPY to be home and have a new copy of Corel!!! Great package! I literally said... Ahhhhhh when I opened it up and designed my first form. I have had almost every version since the first ...Corel 1 so I could use it instantly! I will say this though, I bought this Home 2016 version 1 week before the Full version of Corel 2017 came out. The home version 2017 isn't out yet but I MIGHT have chosen differently had I known there was a new release right around the corner. OH! And one more thing... this is a GREAT price! It is almost twice this on the Corel site!

I used to teach CorelDRAW with the professional version so when I retired I wanted to replace my X3 with this version. I was concerned that at the price it would not live up to the professional version. For my uses now, it covers every need.

CorelDraw is amazing. I can't draw with pen & paper, or a paintbrush. CorelDraw is like a prosthetic for the artistically handicapped. I can create work that I like & that SELLS! It makes me happy, & gives me hope of creating a design that goes viral & makes significant money.
