Very easy to use

I love cherries. I hated pitting them, until I got this great tool. I ordered this item, it arrived a day early. I immediately started pitting my delicious cherries. It was so easy!! I made a scrumptious cherry puree, which I then scooped over ice cream, yum, yum, yum. Then, I came to my senses and mixed the cherries with cottage cheese and had a great snack. This is one more way to get my husband to eat more fresh fruit, because he hated dealing with the pits, buts loves cherries without the hassle.

What a nifty, simple tool that works great!

I wanted to take advantage of summer prices of dark sweet cherries, not only for eating but also for freezing. Flash freezing cherries is so much easier and quicker with the Cherry Pitter Stoner utensil. I like how the pitter leaves the cherry mostly intact. It is a bit more time consuming when you have a quantity of cherries, but I prefer the results better than the ones that do bulk cherries. I like the assurance of knowing that the pit has been removed. We will now enjoy cherries long past the season.

Solid - great feel and design

This product takes me back to my childhood, when we pitted cherries for a Sunday cake or for canning. There is only one way to do it, one cherry at a time. This item is made well, has some substance to it, well-designed and of good quality. I am glad I found the YouTensil brand and will be looking for more kitchen gadgets from them.

Best utensil ever!

This cherry pitter is perfect to pit cherries. I picked cherries, washed them, pitted them, put about 40 in each pint freezer container to freeze for smoothies. The cherries on our tree ripen close to the same time, too many to eat, so this works great. The pitter works great, cleans easily, stores well with the closure mechanism on it.

Useful gadget

Sturdy tool. Went cherry picking and we got carried away! Needless to say, taking the pit out of hundreds of cherries by hand was not my weekend plan, but this little tool made it easier. The pits will fly way sometimes but that’s nothing to do with the tool.

Quality Kitchen Tool - Makes Tedious Job Easy

This product makes quick, easy work of the tedious job of pitting cherries. It is sturdy and a real kitchen tool - not a gimmick. It is weighted nicely and very easy to use. It opens to accommodate all sizes of cherries. I have not yet tried it with olives but I imagine it will work just as well.

Works like a charm

I bought this because I'm a massive fan of olives and have recently learned that they have a lot more flavor if they haven't been pitted prior to brining. Oh my god it's true. So I bought this! I pitted about a cup of kalamata olives in just a few minutes, easy as pie. Love this tool - it's going to get a LOT of use.

Good tool

I like its sturdy feel and compact size. I fits nicely in my drawer with the various other tool I have and it doesn't catch on everything. It is easy to clean and use. Best of all: it works to pit cherries! I'd recommend it as a gift!

Works Great.

The black one is very attractive. My wive has carpel tunnel yet found this very easy to use. We use it on large Greek olives and it does a great job. Looking forward to summer to use on all the cherries we pick.
