Great for my music teaching studio

I bought this for extra lighting for my music teaching studio. Combined with the overhead I already have, the lighting is now as perfect as I think I can get. My students go between sitting and standing with their instruments, and the versatility this light allows is a long-needed aspect. I especially like the lit button for turning it on and off. I'm not certain, but I think it came earlier than promised. Worth every penny. And now, I have bought my 2nd and 3rd. I love these. I do 'close work' - hand sewing 18th Century clothing, and it works wonderfully. But the third - I bought for my husband who has lost much of his vision. This light helps him get about much better than any other lighting we have. We both love that the light goes up, and is reflected off the ceiling.

Great lamp

This lamp is very attractive and appears to be well-made. There is a flat covering over the bulb that makes the light from this lamp warmer and more diffuse. Easy to turn on and off. I am just seeing now that it is dimmable, so I’ll have to figure out how to do that. I have this in my basement workout area and it’s a nice replacement for the crappy one I had there that had a cover that started breaking off in pieces after less than a year. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

very satisfied with this lamp

This lamp is exactly what I was looking for to use in my bedroom. It was easy to understand how to put it together and took me about 15 min. If you follow instructions it is easy to dim or raise the brightness on this lamp and I love that the switch is a push button not the kind you have to turn. The brightness is just right for my 12 by 10 foot bedroom. It sits beside my computer desk but it gives enough light that I can also lie in bed and read. I plan on buying 2 more of these lamps to put in my front room. I would like a little brighter light for my front room but that could be a matter of picking the right model of this lamp. There are no light bulbs. It says the light is supposed to last 3 years. My husband has a similar LED lamp that he burns almost constantly in his office and it has been good for about 4 years now. In my opinion, well worth the money.

Switch Location

Received my light and my daughter put it together with no problems. Works great, but unlike other reviewers my switch is not half way the pole, it is exactly an shown in the picture, on Poll B second poll from top, 46 inches from the base and 21 inches from the top. Would have been better for it to have been a little lower, but does not interfere with the function of the light and it works fine, a little more modern than I wanted, but needed the touch switch as I have low strength in my fingers and turning a switch like the one on the floor lamp I had was difficult.

The Perfect Office Lamp

This lamp is so far superior to the one that it is replacing! I am so satisfied with this product. I ordered this for my home office to replace another torchiere that no longer works. The softness of the light is absolutely wonderful. There is no glare at all; instead, my office is well-lit and so very comfortable. There is plenty of light to do my computer work and to read if I choose. The quality of the product is outstanding. I ordered the lamp is white, but it is a very soft gray and much superior to white. I am so charmed by the way that the top is covered yet produces so much good light. In short, I could not be more pleased with this outstanding product. I am considering ordering one for my guest room, the light is so soft and inviting. Thank you for this great product!

I absolutely love this lamp

I absolutely love this lamp! I did extensive research before deciding to purchase this one. My old Halogen 300-watt torchiere lamp died and I needed a replacement. The light that this lamp emits is cool, it does not make my bedroom hot like my old lamp did, and the control allows dimming from a “cozy” low to a bright “white light” high that brightens the entire room. I love it and I am glad I chose this lamp. Thank you for creating such an amazing lamp. I highly recommend it!

A Great Light!

Very attractive modern looking light. I got the white one. I love the push button on- off - dimmer switch right in the middle of the pole. No switches to turn; push for on / off and hold to adjust output. Dimmable to however low or high you want the brightness. I would call it more an area light than a room light. Puts out plenty of light but not enough to properly light a big room. I have mine in the corner of our finished basement. Love it!

Brightech has a winner in the Sky lite Led Torch, but it can still be improved....

The Brightech - Sky Lite Led Floor Lamp was easy to assemble. The parts should have been labeled A, B to make the instructions more understandable..., but even without labels it was easy to deduce how the parts go together. As frequently mentioned in reviews the body of the lamp is very thin, I assume to save on shipping. I wish the body was the thickness of the Reading lamp made by the same company. Like a model T the only color available was in black, It would be nice if they added more colors like white. This model can be switched on/off from a light switch as well as from the lamp. The lamp uses the previous setting. I have a high ceiling and the highest setting was adequate. But It could have been a little brighter. I appreciate the savings that come from the lower electric consumption and not having to replace bulbs. I decided to also purchase their reading lamp. It was even easier to assemble and was more sturdy in construction. The brightness of the reading light was ideal.

WOW !

Start making them by the 10's of Thousands and even Millions. I swear, it took less than 5 minutes to put it together. What a light show ! It does everything you claimed. Of course I do not know how long it will last, but plan to write them again in 25,000 hours. Oh ! I wouldn't bet against them. Plus more ! You can take out one or two of the extensions to make it shorter. It has a small footprint and can go just about anywhere in your home. I took out one extension and put in a corner on top of my stand up speaker. I will try to take a picture, but I don't have a very good record in that task. Well, I'll be, the picture uploaded. Gorgeous Lamp!!!

This is my first product from Brightech, and I love it! Aesthetically it's a beautiful lamp. I love that the cord comes out of the base instead of three quarters of the way up the pole like most other floor lamps. Makes for a very clean look. The button for turning the lamp on gives off a faint orange glow when the lamp is off. At first I wasn't so sure I liked this feature, but then realized it makes it very easy to find if you're trying to turn the lamp on in a very dark room. Some reviews mentioned a slightly complicated setup. I would agree that there is some minor difficulty as the cord has to be threaded through each section of the pole. Might help having an extra set of hands. However this was not enough to keep me from giving this product 5 stars. Also love the dimming capabilities. It will easily light up a living room even if it's nestled into a corner, but may also be dimmed to give just a bit of accent lighting. I was searching for a good floor lamp for my apartment. This lamp was THE perfect fit!
