The best Tortoise dish.
I already wrote a review that never came up. this is a 5 star Tortoise dish that I would feel comfortable advertising to any reptile lover.

This makes a great bath/water bowl
I use this as a bath/water bowl for my bearded dragon in a 40 gallon terrarium and I love it. My beardie would never go near his water bowl because of it's awkward rock-like shape. I just fill it with warm water and place him in it and he soaks for a couple hours before easily walking out. He used to get dehydrated because I didnt realize he wasn't using the bowl so this has made it so much than soaking him in a sink everyday.

Works great for my young (>1 year) cherry headed redfoots
Works great for my young (>1 year) cherry headed redfoots. I originally purchased one to use as their water dish because I needed something shallow that was easy for them to get in/out of on their own. It works perfectly for that. I actually ended up purchasing a second dish to use as their food bowl as well. The medium size should work for my tortoises for awhile. I think eventually I'll need to upgrade (size wise) the water bowl but I'm hoping this size will work for their food dish even when they get bigger.

Good water dish
Great for young sulcata. Easy to crawl in and out and no danger of drowning. Wide enough that it won't collapse if burrowed under too.

A bit shallow, but still useful
It's a little too shallow but makes a great little bowl for my turtle to get her belly wet and drink.

Quality
Good quality, easy to wash. Use it to feed a colony of feral cats. The larger surface area allows more to eat at one time. I used a cookie tray before but it rusted. This is much better!

Perfect
Perfect! My Sid and JoJo approve. Still love it, just bought a small one for a extra water dish. Update 2 years later still love it! My Sid and JoJo have gotten a lot bigger.

My turtles told me what score to give.
Before purchasing several of these dishes, I used terracotta saucers as my turtles bathing pond. The sides were too high and they were too deep so there was a very real danger of them falling into the pond and getting flipped over and drowning. These dishes by OMEM are great! They are lightweight compared to the terracotta, easy to clean and best of all, they have low sides so my little rescued turtles have no problem getting into the bath, which they now do very often! They love running around in the water now. The main problem I had when searching for a dish for them was that they are very small for their age, because of stunted growth from non-optimal conditions in their first 5 months of life, and it was hard to find a dish with low sides. OMEM came to the rescue with this dish and it is now their favorite pool of all. My turtles thank you for making a great product. Will be ordering more soon.
