Nice quality. I like that the pages are perforated so the kids can easily tear out a picture to hang up. These are a nice size for putting in a purse or car.

Great value

Great value and fairly thick, quality paper. My 4 year old and I love this size of book because I can put one in a gallon sized ziplock bag along with stickers and crayons/markers and it will fit perfectly in his little toddler sized mini backpack.

Great For Young Artists!

I bought these as prizes for an art contest at the middle school where I taught art. The kids loved them! Spiral binding makes them easier to use and the size was perfect for backpacks and bags at school. The paper is a decent quality, too, good for pencil sketching and colored pencil work.

Great for artists of all ages

Got these for my kids (4&8) and they love them. The small size makes them great for travel and the pages and thick enough that they don't rip from normal use. Will definitely be buying more!

Great for letting kids be creative!

We use these sketch pads in our home-school preschool as journals. My kids color their answers to a prompt question and we discuss our artwork. They are sturdy books, with heavy paper so that their markers don't show through to the next page. Not suing a lined notebook gives my kids the freedom to "speak" using their favorite medium- art. My kids love journal time and we definitely look forward to buying these same sketchbooks again when we run out of pages on our current books!

Not just for kids

These are not just for kids. I gave one to each of my grandsons and kept two for me. I love to sketch and these fit nicely in my purse (really a small tote bag). The paper quality is similar to my professional pads

My two-year-old loves these. We use them with the Melissa and Doug crayons. They are the perfect size for her to use for longer rides in the car and don't take up a lot of space in my purse or diaper bag. And the fact that there are four in a pack means we can keep one at home, one in the car, and others for on-the-go. I'd highly recommend.

Served Their Purpose

I got these for my kids to put stickers in, instead of them using my walls. They are a great size for little kids, plenty of pages, and decently thick paper. Perfect for what I got them for!

Great quality.

We've purchased many many Melissa and Doug items and I'm always so pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. These are no exception. The kids love them and the sketch pad paper is thick enough not to bleed through and still has the texture of the art paper in an adult book. We will definitely buy again when the kids use these up. Love that they come in a 4 pack so everyone gets their own!
