Really like the way it works! I am a currently a nursing student and my professor recommended that we buy one of these so that we are prepared for any malfunction or lack of supplies that we may come across in our clinical sites. I got this one based on the other reviews and I am really happy I did. It's super comfortable, reads incredibly fast and looks very nice. I was worried it would have a cheap feel to it considering that the price is very good but it didn't! It's a nice size too and doesn't feel heavy so I can have it in my uniform pocket if they don't let me have it on the lanyard.

Very handy and easy to use with quick results

I have persistent AFIB caused by sleep apnea so I use this pulse ox daily. Very handy and easy to use with quick results. Just make sure you read the directions about finger placement. Poor technique can yield some crazy readings. I rate it as a strong buy and excellent value.

I love this pulse ox!!

Love this product. The color is great. Love that is came with the silicone cover, the batteries and a lanyard. It's small, so it fits perfectly in the pocket of my scrubs. Or I can wear it because of the lanyard. I have cleaned it several times with an alcohol prep and it still works perfectly and it's extremely accurate. I would definitely recommend this product. I also went online and did the extended warranty, and love that it was an option. It's nice knowing that if anything happens I can get it replaced, repaired or refunded at no cost to me. All in all I'm very satisfied with the purchase, the price, and the extended warranty. I recommend this product to anyone who needs/wants a pulse ox that works well and is accurate without spending a lot of money.

This is an update on my original 2-star review. The manufacturer quickly sent a replacement unit and it performs perfectly. The unit itself is a quality product and now I can highly recommend it. The first one was obviously defective which can happen with any supplier. I am impressed that the manufacturer was so prompt in calling me and rushing out a new unit. btw: The Amazon return process is amazingly expeditious. Literally within hours of printing the return label and handing the item to be returned to a UPS driver, the credit was applied to my account. Unmatched customer service.

CMS 500DL Generation 2 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter Oximetry Blood Oxygen Saturation Monitor with silicon cover, batteries and lanyardI just received this pulse oximeter, and so far I am well pleased with it. It gives quick and easy to read feedback. And the readings are comparable to those I have received on pulse oximeters in medical settings. It appears that the company has been paying attention to reviews and making upgrades accordingly. I read one review that stated a wish that the numbers were positioned to be read without turning it around. The one I got is easily read without turning it around, so it appears that this is a recent change. Aside from being an easy an effective device to use, the user manual is also very thorough.

Great Product

Excellent medical product with which I have had good experience with it. Several years ago I bought the old version which was very useful and practical. Every day would used it for my wife and its values were comparable with other similar medical products. One day it was gone, and I suspect a caregiver took it. Then I a bought the new device which the family would use. One day one of my sisters took it; it was gone. Now I bought the current one which I use it for myself. Because the product is so accurate, handy and practical, I would ensure to keep it near me. Don't lose it. Thank you Joseph

WORTH WAY MORE. Accurate and FUN

BUY IT. I love it! Works perfectly. Checked at doctors office to be sure. And picture this: sitting waiting at medical facility… Other patients looking kind of glum (understandably). And I whip out my PURPLE meter. Fabulous response from other patients. Smiles chatter pointing. Chuckle or two. UPLIFTING? For all of us? You bet. And of course a couple of “where’d U get that?” Still had packaging so expect some FL orders. Would buy again in a second.
