Beautiful...a lot better than those cheap ones with a door

Love it! Looks Beautiful and my 2 cats used it without hesitation. No more having to prop open our basement door so they can go to their litter boxes. Only 2 gripes: 1) If your door is not completely flat (has groves or a decorated pattern) the paper thin template can be hard to use. I had the seller (they were great) send me an email with a PDF with the template...I printed it out on heavy stock paper. Made it a lot easier tracing the template. Cutting it out with a jigsaw was easy and simple. 2) Depending on your door (I have a 6 panel hollow door) and where the panels are...the Ear portion (which already has 3M tape on it) did not align with a flat piece of the door. I would have liked all the 3M tape included in a bag and let me place it where it needed to be. I ended using 2 pieces of my own 3M tape to secure the ears. Just a suggestion...but I LOVE this item.

Kitty Pass XL Large Cat Door - Too CUTE!

The XL Kitty Pass cat door is the most amazing product! It was so simple to install - took no more than 10 minutes start to finish - and it looks so much cuter than anything cat door I saw. This product allows our cats to travel to the basement where their litter box is, without allowing our dog to go down there and get into it. The cats love being able to go down there whenever they want! Have already received some many compliments on it.

serves one purpose and serves it well

We used to have to leave our basement door open all the time so that our cat could get to his litter, but it was sort of a hassle because it partially blocked another doorway when open, and frequently got blown closed by wind coming through the front door. Decided to give this a shot and we're so glad we did. Install was easy, about 20 minutes. Our cat had no weirdness at all about it and started using it immediately - best of all we can now leave our basement door closed all the time. Last time he was weighed he was around 17lb so he should fit in the smaller version, but my wife was worried he wouldn't use it if it was too small - so we err'd on the side of going larger. I guess my only minor issue with this is it's a bit pricey for what it is, but then again it is pretty unique in regards to the design and definitely provides a nice finished look when installed.

Easy to install

Easy to install, cats have no problem fitting through. I literally installed this with an xacto knife and a chintzy hand saw (apparently my door was cheaply made.) Shown in the photo is my 7lb tiger cat and 13lb black cat. The larger of the two cats had to crouch down slightly to get through, I think the smaller of the two doors would have been a tight fit. Hoping this cuts down on litter box odors in the basement now that we can keep the doors to that room closed.

XL is truly large enough for fat cats

The Kitty Pass XL is the solution to all of our litter box problems: keep it in the basement, shut the door, and cut a medium-sized hole that even fat kitties can squeeze through. We painted ours brown. It's large enough for 24 lb fat cats. Your kitties will love how good it feels to squiggle through this cat-shaped cat door. Best purchase for our new house!! Installs super easy if you have a jigsaw.

Very easy to install and is designed to be forgiving if your cut isn't perfect. Great if you have a full figured cat.

SO CUTE! Newbie install

Super cute cat door, and very easy to install! I had never even used a jigsaw before (or any power saw, for that matter), and was able to cut and install this more quickly than I thought. I ended up using 2 sturdy tv tables as a makeshift sawhorse. Fortunately, the product bezel was large enough to cover my less than perfect cutting in some places. :) Also, the adhesive tape on the bezels is very strong and sticks on the slightest contact, so make sure you have it lined up well before making any contact with the door. Now my kitties can use the laundry room litter box without my having to leave the door open all the time. Both cats ran to check it out and used it immediately. They are both around 10 pounds, and while they could have used the smaller one, I'm glad I purchased the XL size as it makes it a bit taller/easier for them.

Love it! we have the exact door shown in the ad, a hollow, 6 panel door. The cats went through it right away. Now, we can keep the laundry room door shut where the litter box is, cutting down on noise of the washer and dust getting out into the rest of the house. My friend is buying one now too for her cats!

Be careful haha. The product is great! I bought it to keep my dogs away from the cat food. But when they say xl they mean it! My Australian shepherd and my 3 year old fit thru the door. I'll figure out how to slim it down but the product itself it easy to use and looks great.
