Good cup of tea
Out of the box I got snookered. Someone put the lid in upside down and it was a tight fit. For 2 days it was WTF. Then I held it up to a bright light for the monkey's first clue - could see what was inside - a handle. A smack on the arm of a chair and the lid popped out. Purchased a big bag of loose tea and can now proceed.

Beautifully designed. Glass has been tested to maximum efficiency ...
Beautifully designed.Glass has been tested to maximum efficiency regarding stove and microwave use, as well as its capacity to retain heat for long periods of time. The high-quality materials allow you to be confident in the teapot’s durability and resilience. To use in microwave or stove, simply remove stainless steel infuser, fill with water, and allow to boil. Once the water has reached desired heat, remove from stove or microwave and place infuser with preferred tea into the pot. Strength of tea is dependent on time left to steep.

Very nice
As a man, I was concerned after opening this. It is lightweight and seemed delicate. It was a gift for my wife and she loves it. after a month of use, it has performed as advertised! It's a beautiful design, well made with quality materials. I would definitely buy it again! UPDATE: We use this regularly (year and 6 months worth) and is still in great shape! From the stovetop to the table.

Gorgeous Teapot
Gorgeous teapot. Durable as well. It also has enough volume for several people if you are hosting. The design is also timeless. The best part is that it is dishwasher safe and microwave safe which you will rarely find anywhere else. Wonderful product and extremely fast shipping, you can not find a better deal for the price.

Pretty pot
It's pretty and brews my tea. I broke and chipped parts of my previous glass teapot (different brand, similar style) by knocking it against the counter or the sink or pulling it out of the dishwasher. It had a glass infuser and lid, so there was more of a chance for me or my husband to break it. And we did. The Camellia pot has metal components so we are not going to break them.

Works well for single lady
I like to drink tea, but preparing one cup at a time is cumbersome. This teapot enables me to prepare a day's worth of tea all at once. I don't like my tea too hot; so when it's ready, I put ice in the first cup of tea and allow the rest to cool to room temperature. The infuser looks very sturdy and high quality, but I haven't used it yet; because I have lots of tea bags to finish up. Although the teapot is stove-top safe, I can't rate this feature; because I haven't yet boiled water in the teapot. I prefer to boil water in my whistling tea kettle, since I tend to walk away and forget about it. (Don't want to melt-down the teapot!) I remove the infuser, put tea bags directly into the Camellia teapot and add boiling water, until the tea is "steeped". Then, I remove the tea bags; and I have enough tea for the day. I had thought about getting a real English, lovely teapot; but I decided this would be lighter and, therefore, easier to pour from and wash. Which reminds me: The pouring spout is long and comes to a point, which makes pouring very easy and virtually drip-less. The Camellia teapot is absolutely perfect. I love it, and I'm glad I bought it!

Perfect size for me
I love everything about this. It seems strong and sturdy I put it on the burner take to heat up the water or I pour hot water in it over the herbs or teas that I use it's just perfect in every way for me the size the amount that it holds just perfect for me throughout the day of drinking tea it's attractive... I have put it in the microwave and I don't believe that I will although it did say in the reviews for somewhere I read that you could but I wouldn't do that personally but I do like the fact I can put it on the burner or just put water in it

but liked it so much
* I purchased this item for a full price. I was searching for a water bottle, but no water bottle appeared attractive to me. So I decided to search for a kettle, also for a no luck. Then I found this teapot! I just tried this product once today, but liked it so much. First, I could boil water directly on my induction stove. The pot didn't feel like to burst into at all. Second, it keeps water warm for a sufficient range of time. I was so surprised finding my tea warm after I finished the first cup! Third, it looks so cute and somewhat small but it holds lots of water (40oz/1200ml). Fourth, the whole pot doesn't get super hot after boiling water inside. Especially the handle part almost never gets hot, which helped me so much carrying the pot. So, it keeps being hot inside but not outside. Fifth, it's so easy to clean it with hands and since it is made of glass, I can enjoy the color of my tea! You'll also find that the pot is coming in a cute box in the pictures. The pictures all include Bigelow tea since I bought them together, and I removed the infuser and the lid (you need the infuser to put the lid on) as I didn't need them with tea bags. I am not an expert on any material but I felt that both the pot and the stainless infuser/lid were in a decent quality. I will update this review if something happens but for now, a good purchase!

Beautifully designed and not as delicate as I first thought.
I have a commercial (Garland) 6 burner gas stove in my kitchen and this beautiful, delicate looking glass teapot handled it as expected (hoped).....without a problem. We make herb, black and green tea in this great teapot. The infuser has a series of very small holes that prevent any of the tea from getting into the pot itself. Plus it's easy to clean. Beautifully designed and not as delicate as I first thought. Highly recommended!

Lovely, functional tea pot!
Light weight. Very little tea debris is left in pot because the infuser holes are very small. The best infuser pot I have.
