Look better than I expected. Planned to use one for a shower squeegee but the hole doesn’t fit. Decided to keep them anyway because they are great so far for shower poufs, etc. My only complaint is that I didn’t know what my shower was made of so I searched “fiberglass shower hooks” in Amazon and these came up. When they arrived the instructions say they do not work on fiberglass. It turns out I’m pretty sure my shower is acrylic, but if the description says they do not work on fiberglass it’s kind of weird that the search pulls them up. People aren’t really looking for hooks that do not work for them.

Every time I read a review one of those reviews that swears "these really DO work" I immediately think, Yeah right.. pull the other one. 🙄 In fact, it's generally is a good sign the product is crap, am I right? Paranoid? Distrustful? Possibly.. but admit it, you know I'm right. Those reviews are as fake as I am crazy; and folks, that ain't good. So hold onto your shorts (And don't roll those eyes either..) when I tell you this. These hooks are AMAAAAAYYYYZAZAZIING. I bought these fully expecting that in <7 days my husband would be awakened at 5am by the stream of obscenities pouring from my mouth when this vacuum hook broke mid-shower. FULLY expected. No one could possibly be more stunned than I am at how well these hold. The way they utilize the vacuum seal makes so much sense & works like a charm! They work so well I'm placing an order for more. We have a very small guest bathroom upstairs by our game room which apparently is in need of more storage space, judging by my hubby's inability to not leave towels all over the floor. These hooks will be the perfect solution without drilling holes in the wall. Which is good because if I go upstairs and find towels all over my floor one more time, I'm gonna smother him with one. 😐 Save your marriage.. Save a life.. Buy these hooks! They really DO work! Seriously, they do. 👍🏻

I used these on two different surfaces-laminate tub liner and ceramic subway tile (the manufacturer says ceramic is not compatible with these, but I wanted to try something without drilling). It's important to note that you have to continue to tighten these for a few days after installation as the suction loosens a little. The suction is holding up very well on the laminate liner, but I am having to tighten the suction on the ceramic every few days (which is probably why ceramic is not recommended). With that said, they are both able to hold lightweight items such as a body puff and kids swimsuit. I have not tried anything heavier. They are installed in the shower and moisture has not been an issue with loosening thus far. Overall, I highly recommend, but double check description for compatible surfaces before purchasing.

Works as advertised, but you need to know how to attach them. First, unscrew the post section until the rubber back is as flat as possible, then get the black rubber side wet and press it against a flat surface (surface MUST be flat). Now, while holding pressure on the front side start turning the post section clockwise until it is fully tight. Doing this changes the shape of the black suction and forms the vacuum between the bathroom hook and the flat surface. That's it. If you want to remove it, simply unscrew the post and it will fall off. The manufacture should include instructions to explain to people how to install them correctly.

I needed something to hang on the glass wall of my shower on the exterior so I can hang a bath towel. This works great. Easy to engage. Have been using for a couple weeks ... taking towel on and off. Holds secure. So far so good. I used the 2nd one inside the shower on tile so I can hang a scrubber. Works great. PS - they also look very nice. Unobtrusive. Looks like chrome even though its a plastic. It does exactly what it says it does. Hope it continues to do so!

I understand the complaints saying these don't work. They will NOT hold if you just press these against a surface, even a perfectly flat surface such as glass. You have to loosen the hold first by turning the post counter-clockwise, then press against a flat surface (glass, tile, wood, etc.) and turn the post clockwise until tight. Textured tile will not work - commonsense though, these hooks secure through suction. I have mine secured to the side of a wood cabinet and they hold my headphones. I can put quite a bit of pressure on it and it'd easily hold a thick, heavy bath towel or heavy bathrobe.

This is a fantastic hook. If you follow the instructions and apply it to the right type of non-porous surface, it works great. I am convinced that the only people having trouble with this thing are people who are not applying it properly or applying it to the wrong surface. If you do it right, it's pretty foolproof. The instructions say to keep tightening it every two hours for 48 hours. That is a little excessive, nobody can do that and it is unnecessary. Just give it a few extra twists over the first couple of days and it will be fine. It also looks pretty nice, if you look closely enough you will be able to tell it's plastic but it still looks nice. Since it is plastic it will probably scratch and scuff pretty easily so you should probably be careful to not scratch it. I haven't scratched mine yet but I've been careful with it. This hook is great for most items but I have another suction cup hook that is better for things with straps like purses, backpacks, bathrobes with hanging loops, etc. It will hold those items more securely. The suction power of the other hook works just as well as this one it just has a different design that is better for holding certain types of items. You can find that one here - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015258I4M//ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=amznrev-20&linkCode=ll1

We had a new EXPENSIVE acrylic shower installed in our home and anything we screw in will void the warranty. The way we ended up having to do the redesign (due to our 60 year old home) left me with ZERO wall to screw a towel hook into. I was devastated and was looking for a suction cup type holder that wasn't cheap looking. I didn't even know these existed. I got mine in February and so far it's holding up great! Since it was a two pack I put one in the shower and hung my back brush on it. I'm tickled with them!

We received an email from the seller how to install this hook and after a couple tries, it has stayed attached. We have hung large towels and bathrobes on the hook and it has stayed put! Our shower enclosure is glass so we purchased two, one for outside of the shower and the other inside. It's a nice, high-end, finished look for a very good price!

OK, I admit it. I was skeptical. I've used suction cup devices in the past, and while they've worked well enough, they eventually lost suction and fell down. I figured this was just part of the deal; you'll never achieve a perfect seal, so it's just a matter of time before you need to reattach them. I ordered these 3 months ago, and installed one in my bathroom on the tile to hold a wet facecloth, and one in my office on a glass wall to hold my coat over the Fall and Winter. I didn't have a lot of hope for the bathroom one because of the nature of tile, and similar expectations of the office one, because my jackets and coats tend to be heavy. Neither has separated from their original installation point. The office one really surprised me. Today is fairly warm for January in New England, so I wore my leather jacket. This thing is heavy, around 4 lbs. I had it on the hook for half of October and most of November. It held like it was glued to the glass. This is 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. It was the same for the bathroom hook - it may as well have been permanently installed. Mark me down as impressed. These have exceeded my expectations. As a bonus, the sharp design of the hooks fits right in with our office's modern steel and glass decor. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.
