Exactly as advertised. 1 bag, 10lbs of pork, 12 hours in the WSM, awesome results!
I read the reviews that talked about getting more chips than chunks but decided to take a chance. I ordered 2 bags and they both look like the picture from Weber. Yes, there are some scrap pieces but less than a cup worth. I smoked a pair of 5 pound pork shoulders for 12 hours. 1 bag was able to keep a healthy amount of smoke for the entire time. Added great flavor to the meat. I will be buying this again.

Nice mild smoke
Good sized chunks throughout. You'll find some small splintered pieces by the time you get to the bottom of the bag, but nothing that would make me say rip-off. Apple is pretty mild, so if you're looking for some smoke that isn't too overpowering, this would be one for you to try. Cherry is mild too, and typically produces a more pronounced smoke ring for me.

Exactly what I ordered.
Good quality and nice sized chunks. I ordered the Hickory, Pecan, Mesquite and Apple Wood chunks. All four bags came in with almost exclusively good sized chunks in the bag (the hickory had some shreds thrown in for good measure, but was full of big chunks of hickory wood). The mesquite is nice and dark colored wood. I am exceedingly pleased with my purchase and will purchase these again when I run out of my favorite woods to smoke with. Zero complaints. Having used the products many times now, I have reordered and am again happy with what I received. The mesquite turns out to be my favorite for beef and chicken, so I use it a lot. I like a combination of hickory, pecan and applewood for pork. Kinda wish they would offer post oak, but I am very happy with what I have received. These wood chunks are priced competitively and are adequate sized chunks to use in my charcoal smoker. Very pleased.

LOTS of Chunks
There have been some comments about the quality of the chunks of smoking wood provided by Weber. This is my second review, I believe, with the first coming a few years ago. The two pictures here are of an order of Apple, Pecan and Cherry chunks that I just ordered. I have a 9” hand from thumb to pinky so you can see the size of chunks in the bags I received. And the second picture is of about half of each bag that I dumped out. This is chunks for smoking, not chips. Buy with confidence.

Perfect for Turkey and chicken!
I’m 100% Cowboy charcoal, chimney starter and prefer chunk wood over chip for all of my Weber grills. I never use briquettes and lighter fluid. I soak the wood chunks for a minimum of 30 minutes before using, sometimes up to an hour. The Pecan wood’s smoke adds the perfect flavor to chicken and turkey. I use Mesquite a lot along with a number of other woods to smoke my food. The Pecan flavor has become my favorite over the past Summer. It’s not as strong as Mesquite so it doesn’t overpower the food that I BBQing. The entire family and friends really enjoy the flavor.

Perfect Size and Quality
I have an electric smoker that needs just a little bit of wood...many brands are too big to fit into the smoke box and the others are too shredded, the Weber chunks fit perfectly and smell like they are fresh cut. The price is pretty good too not very expensive and better than anything out there with cheap/free delivery. I wish BBQ Galore was still open in the Bay Area, their product is great good but these are just as good, same price on-line but ship free with Prime.

As described. Clean wood in good-sized chunks.
Used for smoking pork butt and chicken breasts in a kamado grill. The wood is clean, and nicely sized, with sizes ranging from about the size of a thick computer mouse down to sizes thick as a finger and as wide/tall as a playing card is wide. I prefer this, so that I can include both faster-burning and longer-burning chunks when building my charcoal-plus-wood "teepee." Nice light smoke flavor. Will buy again.

Great Smoke Flavor
Basic need if doing a lot of smoking. I have a Big Green Egg and this is the primary smoking wood I use across all meats. Its consistent smoke and mid-range as favor as taste. Not as assertive as mesquite but more bite than oak. I use this for most beef and chicken. I usually soak a few pieces and drop a couple of dry pieces in to keep a steady smoke going for about 4-hours.

Delicious for year-round smoking
Favorite for smoking pork and poultry. This bag doesn't last too long at our house, especially in the summer. We use it very easily with charcoal and only need 2-3 pieces to smoke. Larger chunks mean that pieces can easily be reused if they don't burn through all the way. We buy this bag again and again -- great purchase!

Good price to performance value
This was a budget-friendly price with a generous amount of smoking wood. It can last for around 3- 5 grilling sessions depending on how strong you want the smokey flavor to be. This was a good purchase and I will definitely consider buying it again, maybe different wood type though.
