Works like a charm. Just got it yesterday and all the games work and we have been having so much fun. I bought the cord lengthening bundle that has the extra controller and ac adapter with it and haven't had any issue. We had an extra hdmi cable to hook it into the tv from the wii, so no biggie there. The games are so fun and what a neat thing to share with my own kids! We played kirby and zelda for hours! The console is tiny! Looks like a super mini version of the old one. Now I am going to order the super nes since this one turned out so well. This is a EU console so you do have to get the adapter for it and if you dont have the extra hdmi then that would be good too. This is the kit I bought: Piranha Performance Accessory Kit for NES Classic Edition with Controller, 2 Controller Extension Cables, Power Adapter It was $20 but well worth it. You get an extra controller and lengtheners for the controllers and that ac adapter. Does it suck to spend the extra $20? Yes. But it's fun and worth the enjoyment we are getting out of it.

The gameplay is exactly as it was In the 80s/early 90s, except I can save my game now. Hooks up to power via USB (like your phone charger, came with a cord but not a plug) and media feeds via included HDMI cable. Controller cord is short, way shorter than the original - I have to pull the whole little mini NES out to play it. My aged self can't keep up with the games these young rapscallions play nowadays. It's nice to be able to take a break and play some classics.

Good service

Arrived in great condition on the day promised. Only negative comment I would make is it does not come with a plug in connection to the wall outlet. You need a 2 way spade to USB adapter. I would have thought it would have come with one or at least mention in ad or on box that you will need one. We live 12 miles from the nearest place to get one. Very inconvenient.

As advertised

I was a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews, but it is exactly as advertised. Works fine, I only heard of about half the games it came with and had only played 5 or so of them back in the day. I agree that the one controller that comes with it is a bit short so I listened to that and bought a couple wireless controllers. Recommend for anyone that is interested in some retro gaming.

Working fantastic / Kids love

Everything works super great, super easy, super cool 30 games ! You do need a little adapter to stick the USB end into so that it can plug in. Most people have this generic type of thing around. Only has one controller, so get another if desired. I also bought the extension cables for the controllers on Amazon which gives you comfortable length if so desired. Product works great, looks great, ty (-:

Best purchase on amazon! Welcome to 1985!

This is legit one of my favorite things I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. We have an old school one from 1985, but it takes a bit of love and magic to make it work. BUY THIS! But you must get the wireless remotes, this comes with one remote with a short freaking cord that you’d have to stand in front of the TV to use. It’s so fun playing the original games again. Easy set up and works without blowing into the games :)

Fantastic selection of games! Brings me back to fond memories as a 10-14 year old! Awesome look just like the original but control center is like 1/10 scale or something. Uses hdmi output. In 1990 these games and system would have cost close to $1000

Must have

Paid more than we wanted but wouldn't trade it. So many games for us 90's babies to remenice on. Invest in the wireless controller.
