Great for the beach

I had the big turtle shell for years before it finally stopped holding a charge. Cannot recommend these speakers highly enough. Love being able to thrown them in the bottom of a backpack or beach bag and not worry about sand or scuffs.

Great sound quality!

The battery lasts for an extremely long time. Longer then the 12 hours. I charge my phone on this and it charges about mid speed wise. Very dependable and very worth the money.

Great cheap little speaker

Instead of wasting a lot of money getting bluetooth in my 20 year old truck, i just got one of these. I can listen to media off of my phone, or take phone calls on long road trips. Then when I'm not driving, i still have a portable speaker. It has withstood the shower, construction projects, and working in the yard or garage. The sound quality is not what you would want for high fidelity listening, but for the size and price it's not bad. The battery life is also quite amazing.

An awesome little speaker!.

Great for outdoor and indoor listening. It floats as they say but more importantly, I can walk away for some time and it will automatically shut itself off saving battery. I've used it at least 3 hours a day for 5 days straight and the battery stays charged. I literally charge it every other week to top it off without it ever running out of charge. The sound quality is very good but don't expect audiophile quality. It's designed to work in outdoor / rugged environments where high resolution listening is not possible anyway. If you want to rock to Led Zeppelin or bob your head to Daft Punk while on the trail or beach, this is perfect. I originally bought this for my wife but I was so impressed I bought one for myself.

My turtle has a problem

The product's volume, base, and overall quality was really good. However, I noticed soon after playing music through it the first time that the turtle's sound system would routinely stop playing for a moment, and then resume playing again. The interruptions were constant and almost rhythmic in fashion. At first, I thought it was probably a problem with the AUX cord, so I tested it with three different cords without improvement. I then tried it with both the sound system charging and not, once again with no change. I even considered that it might be an issue with my phone, so I tried playing music through a different sound system and through earbuds. It worked perfectly for both of those; thinking deductively, it would seem that the sound system I received is broken.

Amazing for the price!

This is my 2nd turtle 3.0. I like the Yeti voice better than the womans voice when powering on unit. The new one is the woman. Vendors should specify. My last one was sent through the ringer and the charging port finally quit working. I got my monies worth out of it by then! Great sound, battery lasts longer than expected!

Survived an out-of-box pool party

So it was a normal Saturday pool party, and then came the amazon notification. I ran to the door to get it, opened it up, threw away the directions, and connected. We had been using my Kicker dual mono speakers with a 5" sub until that moment, and everyone looked at me weird when I changed speakers. We were all immediately blown away. With the sound quality being equal to that of the $400 Kicker speaker and it being waterproof, you can't go wrong with this buy. FYI: I tested it the following day, sober, and had a neighbor 2 doors down knock on my door because it was too loud...It was at three-quarter volume...

Paired easily and sound amazing

Everything I expected. Paired easily and sound amazing. Primary reason for purchasing these is that two can be paired which was very hard to find. Already dropped one from about three feet onto a concrete patio...minor ding on one corner but other than that nothing. Only wish is that at $85 some mounting straps were included but other than that very pleased.
