Works as well as my OEM charger. I wanted a second charger for travel and this fit the bill nicely.

Looks great, works great after it breaks in

Update: After a few weeks of use, the issue I describe below is non-existent. This charger now works 100% the same as my original that came with my Surface. I assume one of the contacts on the connector must have had some residue from manufacturing that wore off. Updated to 5 Stars. Original Review: My only dislike on this is that sometimes when the charger is inserted into the surface pro, the little light doesn't come on. I move it a bit and it will be fine after that. I don't have this issue with the one that came with my surface pro, so I know it's this charger. I can get it to charge every single time, and once it lights up, it doesn't disconnect or anything. Just a minor annoyance most times I use it. For the price, it works fine and I rate it 4 stars for this reason.

What can one say about a power cord? It works. This one has an additional USB port just like the original one had that came with the machine, so that's good. But what stands out about this cord is the nice little case that came with it. Padded, zippered, and with two interior pockets, one with a zipper. Very convenient for travel. And an excellent price. Definitely 5-star value.

Great company

My charger was for a surface pro 2. It came in time, and in perfect shape. I like it better than the original that came with my surface. Fit was perfect. I would recommend this company to anyone having to replace their charger.

I went to find one at Best Buy, Microsoft Store none available

I was nervous when one of my adapter chargers for my Microsoft RT tablet bit the dust, and the extra one I had was starting to work intermittently. I went to find one at Best Buy, Microsoft Store none available. I found one on Amazon that was perfect. Once again I can count on Amazon.

Inexpensive replacement to a Surface Pro 2 charger.

The charger works completely as advertised. The original charger gave out so I purchased this as a replacement. The length leaves a bit to be desired, but the outlet portion is removable and can be extended (similar to a macbook charger). Note, there isn't a usb port on this charger, which is alright, but in the future I would recommend them to add one.

If you have a Surface 2 this is the right charger. I bought my Surface from the local Microsoft store and they have replaced the original charger, no charge, three times when each went bad. This time they said they stopped carrying them and directed me to this device on Amazon. Fits the Surface 2 and works perfectly.

Great charger for better price than most companies

I shopped around for a new charger for my surface pro 4 and they were so expensive. I decided to go to online and found a charger just a efficient at a much more reasonable and affordable price. I am very happy with my purchase and would shop here again for any other electronic needs I have.

A great replacement / upgrade

This is an ideal replacement for my original Surface Pro 1 charger that started to have problems making contact with the Surface. This charger was delivered and my Surface is once again charging promptly and easily. As an added bonus, the light on the charging contact has a bit more modern and visible design, which I consider a plus.
