So far so good, the controller is responsive and it works
So far so good, the controller is responsive and it works, the D pad is kind of hard but is not a deal breaker for me ,the cellphone holder feels kind of flimsy when you close it, but once it is open it is very sturdy, the clip is very strong , your phone will stay in place. It might take some time for you to get use to the controller layout L2/R2 are in a weird position. So far I am a satisfied costumer. (Better than those garbage gamesir controllers) I will update my review a few months from now or if I noticed any failures.

Great for android native gaming as well as emulation!
Bought this too have a more genuine experience with my emulated game library. Most notably have been playing alot of PSP titles that would otherwise take hours of custom button interface changes as with many games the on screem controls often have limitations that you run knto as you progress through a game. With this nifty controller I literally paired and played with PPSSPP Gold. The buttons were mapped automatically to my surprise without mistake. I did happen to run an analog stick test and this controller hit every axis point consistently without any hangups. I haven't experienced any notable lag due to'the connection yet either. Overall a great product for someone who plays games heavily on their mobile phone.

Perfect for my commutes.
I use it on my daily commute, to play android games on my phone. Connects quickly via bluetooth, no noticeable input lag. Its not the most comfortable controller I own, but is really easy to use and pack away in my bag, so its a nice compromise. The battery lasts me about a week of commutes, so it is perfect for me.

Sweet Mobile Controller
This thing is fantastic. Battery life is great, it feels like a AAA controller, and it even has clickable joysticks which is above and beyond expectations for a mobile controller. It has all the buttons and functionality of a full sized console controller and pairs to my OnePlus Two with no problem. Highly recommended.

Works Great for Emulators and Android Smartphones.
My Review is for BEBONCOOL's Wireless Bluetooth Android Game Controller. First off it is very easy to setup on your Android device. It fits my Samsung Galaxy S8+ W/ a UAG Case. Works flawless throughout my phone. Can move around on my homescreen in Game Mode of the controller and access my Game Launcher to play many emulators. This device doesn't just support the games in the BEBONCOOL Companion App.Directly after connecting to bluetooth I was able to launch an emulator and the controller instantly worked. I couldn't be more happy with the product. Also comes with a nice little cinch bag for the controller and Micro USB charging cord. This is a must buy if you enjoy playing classic or even new mobile game releases on your smartphone.

About what I expected.
COMFORT: Other reviews said that it wouldnt have the most comfort, and so i wasn't expecting it to be perfect, but it wasn't as uncomfortable as i'd been expecting. It was great for my purposes, and that's an hour here or there during travel (on planes, when others are driving, ect) or while waiting for appointments. BATTERY LIFE: I've never had it die. Granted, i've never tested to see just how long it can go, but i've used it for several hours in a day during long flights and it didn't run out. GENERAL CONNECTION: If you have one device you want to connect it to, it'll be really fast and really easy, once you figure out how to connect it for the first time (just click and hold the home button until it beeps 4 per second instead of 2 per second) and choose the controller on your phone. After that, it'll connect to your phone very quickly. I don't even have to open up the bluetooth menu. It's so much faster to connect to a single device than moga ever was. CONNECTION DIFFICULTY: This is my one complaint: It can be frustrating switching from one device to another. There's been times where it'd give me error messages trying to connect to a device i'd previously connected to but wasn't the most recent device i'd connected to. The solution I found was just resetting the device with a paper clip and removing all bluetooth history of it from all devices. But, sometimes I can switch it without much of a problem, granted i turn bluetooth off for the device i don't want it to connect it to. GAMES AVAILABILITY: Anyone who complains that it doesn't work with enough games doesn't know what they're talking about. If you don't know what an emulator is, go do some research and familiarize yourself with aquiring games, ect, because I have over 50 games I play regularly with this remote (my niece absolutely loves it and always asks to play with my phone and the controller) CLIP: I feel like the moga hero clip was a bit superior, but the clip works plenty well. Like unless you're shaking it upside down or sideways, your phone won't fall. I've never had it fall when gaming, but when shaking it i've gotten close. For size reference, I can use it with a galaxy S4 phone with the bulky caseand it still has some room extra above it. BUTTONS: Yeah, they are convex, and they're not the best, but they're plenty good for me. Not painful, but not comfortable. People complain about the spongy D-pad, and it is, but I never used it much to begin with so i didn't mind. SHAPE: my biggest peeve is that there isn't an erganomis shape to it since the sides are very vertical and not slanted so your hands can hold it at an angle, but that's so it can fit in my pocket so I don't mind this, and acutally appreciate it, but I will admit that this is one area that the moga hero was slightly superior for. BUTTON LAYOUT: Everything is perfect except that darned start button haha it's very inconvenient, as with the select button, but other than that it's great. Some people complain about the buttons on the very back being awkward, but once you get used to it, i find that I kind of prefer it that way rather than having a second set of shoulder buttons precariously placed at the edge of the device that can break, which happened with my moga controller. The shoulder button just popped off (not that the moga's second set of spongy buttons ever wroked to begin with). USE WITH APP STORE GAMES: Honestly, the only ones i've tried are various emulators, so i don't know how well it works with other games. CLIP BEING LOOSE? People said a lot that they worried the clip would break because it didn't snap down really shut and that it can still wiggle, but those seemed really blown out of proportion in my mind. I didn't see it as an issue, let alone a reason to not buy it. ________________________________________________ SUMMARY: Better than the moga hero, and much cheaper (at the moment). If you find you need to charge your phone, just get a $5 power bank from the store instead of getting moga. I haven't had anything break on this controller, and the only thing that might persuade me to get moga at this point is that it was easier to switch to my computer and back to my phone and back again. Very nice controller for the price. Well built. I'd buy again if i lost it.

Great Bluetooth controller for any android phone!
UPDATE: It's a little finicky with the PC. Connected just fine, but trying to play Dragon's Dogma, not of the inputs are "input 3", and no way of unmapping that input out to keep playing. A minor flaw in an almost flawless controller! Pros: + Great controller for the price! It holds my phone well while being a good size for portability... all for <$20 USD + Long battery life, (went 3 days of heavy 4+ hour use without charging and its still going strong) + Connected easily to phone, no bluetooth problems, even on packed subway with other phone users + Works on all the games I've been playing on, (mainly emulators) + Fits my Galaxy S 8+ with its case on + responsive controls + lovely silver bag to carry it around in, (alleviates 1 of my 2 cons) My only gripes are: it the dpad is really squishy, and the control sticks out a bit much for portable travel - Dpad needs better tactile feedback on so you know which direction you are pressing it on - great for cargo shorts, but doesn't stick into jeans well without carrying pouch, (a nice silver one that dramatically alleviates this issue) - Some PC titles read Inputs that are not on the controller. So with the first con being very minor, and the free bag helping the second... I would definately buy from again, especially if they had a slightly bigger controller with built in power supply, (think the MOBO ones going around, but made by these guys). I will be doing some testing to see how it works on PC as a bonus, but for what it does, it does with ease!

Gotta give it 5 stars, looks great and it just works!
I'm not sure on their app, doesn't seem to me to do anything but provide a list to compatible games, but using Octopus this controller is great The controls feel great and very responsive, great for Arena of Valor and Mobile Legends has some trouble with the keys but it seems to be an issue between Octopus and the game, not the control. Best part is no apps necessary for it to work with the SNES9X EX app. I will say though that it won't be something you can leave propped up like an open laptop by itself as the phone makes it top heavy. Not sure if it's just mine, but the flip up click for the phone doesn't lock down closed, just a minor thing as for me it's just a visual thing. And as I said a phone makes it top heavy and I can't recommend it for layed back gaming as the clip isn't strong to stay in the open position when held above ones face, it did not let go of the phone though when the phone tried to flip forward, so that's still a plus.

I'm happy with mine
Connected to my phone on my second try, after I read the instructions, and works just fine. The buttons don't have the same feel as a current gen console, but they get the job done.
