My 2 (large size version) bowls just arrived yesterday. And I HAD to order 2 more. They definitely kept my feeder dubia roaches and superworms from getting out. I left it in the enclosures of 2 of my beardies for an hour. They ate what they could with plenty left for later. And none of the bugs got out to roam the terrariums freely. The design is perfect! I'm sure if I overload a bowl with superworms, they would get out. But I wouldn't do that.

Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a white ceramic dish to feed my Bearded Dragon his dubia roaches and worms, as he sees the movement of the insects so much better in a white dish. This one was well made, solid, heavy, and the molded lip at the top ensures there are no runaways. Very happy with this product.

Ordered the meal-worm dish Feb 18 and received it March 1, faster than what was predicted (3/16 to 4/14). The dish was in it's own box and double wrapped, taped and put in a plastic shipping bag. I wish I did my math before ordering this dish in a large. it wouldn't fit in the geckos tank (24Lx12Wx12H), I would have to take out a hide and 3 ledges. my gecko gets upset and won't eat if anything is moved out of place or taken out I am keeping the dish and use it for cat's water bowl. i ordered a small and did my math this time, it will fit nicely for feeding. Wont have to worry about escapees, this will keep the meal-worms in containment. They do tell you to consider the size of the meal-worm and order the appropriate size bowl. Also great for Dubia Roaches. The sizes for large is 12 cm (4.22"), 13 cm (5.12"), 3.9 cm (1.48") Small is 6 cm (2.36"), 7 cm(2.76"), 2 cm(.79") I would Highly recommend OMEM for their pet supplies even though they are in China, but still worth the wait.

Previously, I had a tall cup to keep mealworms in, but my leopard geckos never saw the movement because of the high walls so they never ate them. My leopard geckos can actually see inside this one and I’d like to think they love it. No worms have gotten out, either.

Nice products, though for me the large is too large and the small too small. I would love for a middle/medium size!! Update: Got the medium size just what I was asking for! Very nice pieces.

Nicely glazed, cleans easy. Dish is thicker on the bottom to keep it well planted for those frisky eaters. The lip on the small contained BSF, mini supers and generally roaches 3/8" or less but they can climb on top of each other and *attempt* escape although the lip is pretty slippery preventing most attempts. Dish does not tip when our 70 gram bearded dragon eats with front legs on the rim. The medium is just a bit too high for juvenile bearded dragons, pressing into their bellies if they prefer dining in the dish. The small was perfectly sized in that regard. Pricing is so so @ $11/prime for the small, $13 medium and you get a solid product, but it can become expensive if you have multiple cages. How about a multi-pack discount OMEM??

Works great for superworms - these are extra large superworms I've raised myself that have managed to escape from most other dishes, and including a small glass round dish (they even climb on top of each other and manage to pull themselves up on bits of grit/wheat bran/anything that falls in). Tested this for days, placed inside a larger plastic bin and no escapees.

This is a great bowl, it's thick, heavy and because it's white the worms are easy to spot. Very helpful for my Leopard Gecko who has trouble seeing. She can spot them now. Worms don't escape due to the wonderful edge on it. Most suppliers make bowls that blend in with natural habitats and don't prevent escape. This one makes food easy to spot and prevents "runners". Also very easy to clean. Great buy, fast shipping. I've gotten both the small and large bowls and am very happy with both. Recommend to anyone looking for a good worm bowl. A++!

This dish works great for superworms, dubia roaches, and hornworms, its escape proof.

I have Green Anoles and only one will take live food from my tongs. The other Exo terra dish I have does not work for feeding insects cause it has an area like steps.. so crickets don't drown if used as a water dish, but Anoles don't usually drink from bowl, they lick water drops off leaves.. so if you want to feed Dubias or worms, they just crawl or roll out into the substrate where they disappear. Then I seen this slick surface bowl with a lip.. it is perfect (if you don't over fill) I put small Dubias, waxworms, mealworms, blue bottle fly spikes , what ever small critters and they stay where I put them and become lunch instead! I'm buying more bowls right away!! I got the medium size btw.
