Everybody's raving about this rack! If you don't have this in your kitchen, you are missing out on what quality, functionality and convenience is all about collectively. My husband and I are impressed about how using this genius invention makes our baked nuggets crispier and much tastier. We also loved how it cooled our muffins so well. Not only is this rack very well-made, sturdy and at par with the latest global quality standards when it comes to baking and cooling racks, it's also handy and a space-saver. I enjoy using it every time we are to cook something in our oven. This is no doubt a top-notch piece I have ever bought! I recommend that every household should have one. Don't wait up! Buy it right this second!

I ordered this specifically for cooking bacon in the oven. I use a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil and this rack set on the foil. It holds eight to ten strips of bacon, and clean up is a breeze. This rack fits in the bottom rack of my dishwasher and comes out sparkling clean. I throw away the foil, and put the cookie sheet away when done. So much easier and cleaner than frying bacon on the stovetop, and the bacon is not sitting in grease. Plus, I use this rack as a cooling rack with baking. Couldn't ask for more!

I am not sure why I waited so many years to treat myself to a rack like this. This one arrived on time beautifully packaged and is such a wonderful product. You can see that the steel that it’s made of is very high-grade. The design of it is perfect with an extra two legs at the center of the rack not just at the four corners which really helps with support. Also the grid is a smaller square grid so it helps prevent food from falling through. I’ll be using it for everything from cooling baked goods to also cooling roasted vegetables. By allowing air to circulate, items will not get soggy. All in all this is a great investment and I know I’ll have it for a very very long time.

I've waited several months to post this because I wanted to use the product extensively and see how we really liked it. We make a lot of baked chicken, chicken wings, and pork chops, so we were looking for a something to keep them out of the grease as they cook. I paired this product with a Nordic Ware Aluminum Baker's sheet and it has been just what we're looking for. The wings come out crispy on both sides. The only down side is that it's difficult to clean. I honestly don't know how that could be fixed because one of the best things about the product is the small grid. Just know you'll need to spend extra time making sure you've gotten everything off, but it's worth it.

I have used the America's Test Kitchen recommended CIA 23304 Masters Collection 12 Inch x 17 Inch Wire Cooling Rack, Chrome Plate Steel mostly as cooling racks with great success for years. They have always cleaned up quickly for me with a soapy brush at the sink and I have never experienced any rust issues. They have performed admirably for my needs. Recently I ran short on rack space with a big project. When I went shopping for additional racks these caught my eye and I figured I'd give them a try. So how do they stack up? When trying anything blind I always expect to be underwhelmed. Yes, you may call me a skeptic.* But in this instance I have been pleasantly delighted! These racks are wonderful; not at all flimsy or rough or anything else I could imagine that could possibly go wrong with a rack. They're shiny, they're sturdy, they fit my half sheets. If price is a consideration and you're going to be using them as cooling racks and you are willing to (easily) hand wash I see no reason not to go with the CIA racks. But these Kitchenatics are beautiful racks and if I had an oven application, given the choice, I'd grab the stainless. *Also a geek: Kitchenatics 17.91 oz.; CIA 18.52 oz.

First thing I did was to cook some amazing pork bellies. Awesome. I bought their racks before and they are truly perfect. But the pan... I had an issue with the pan, I didn't like the aluminum that was made of, but I got a quick response from support, with an unexpected and great outcome. The rack again, amazing, very good quality, it comes out perfect from the dishwasher. No rust, well built.

Fits perfectly in my pan/cookie sheet. Was looking for a pure stainless cooking rack. I do not use toxic non-stick cookware and wanted something sturdy and healthy. This fit the bill, love it. Would like to get more sizes in this same brand and quality. Easy to use and clean.

These are incredible racks for using in the oven. I purchased these to "dry" thin slices of sweet potato in the oven. The chewy potato slices make great, healthy dog treats. The racks are perfect for this purpose. Before I purchased the racks, I put the potato slices on my half-sheet baking pans lined with parchment paper, and turned them half way through their baking time. With the racks (set on the the baking pans), I don't have to turn them. And they don't stick at all to the racks. This is exactly what I was hoping for. I highly recommend these baking racks to everyone. :)

a great price for the quality of the drying rack. by far the best 'feature' is that it is stainless steel instead of chromed steel. being able to put it in the dishwasher leaves the other cheap racks in the dust(bin). the other feature that i appreciate is that the legs are on a thicker (non moveable) axle that runs the entire width of the rack, more evenly distributing the load. it is also attached on the botton, beneath the mesh. other, more cheaply-constructed racks have this axle attached along the top, so if you accidentally or just-this-once use it as a trivet for a small but heavy pot, the whole thing breaks because the legs are forced apart from the mesh. being able to use it as a trivet in a pinch is also very handy!

Here are the reasons I recommend this rack: 1) The construction is heavy gauge, solid stainless steel - the best quality that doesn't attract a magnet (yes, I tested it). 2) The finish is bright and smooth; no pitting or discolorations or snags. All the welds are precise. Constructed with an eye for detail. 3) The grid is tight, which will keep your foods from sagging through. 4) The design is excellent, with three cross bars, each with two feet, for a total of six feet. The rack is rigid and stable. 5) The dimensions fit perfectly in the standard half-pans on the market. I have Nordic Ware pans, and this rack fits precisely. 6) The company contacted me in a follow-up email to ensure I was satisfied with their product. That speaks well of Kitchenatics. Finally, let me be clear: I received nothing from anyone in return for a (good) review. I'm not one of the army of reviewers getting stuff for free from Amazon retailers. This review is unbiased and honest.
