VERY loud and easy to use, but unlikely to accidentally activate
It’s larger than I anticipated, but the sound is VERY loud and obviously a distress alarm, not just a high-pitched squeal. My over-protective mother and boyfriend both approve. I purchased it for protection when walking to/from my car to work/my apartment. I was worried about it being too easy to activate/pull but it takes a strong tug to separate the pieces. I keep it on my keychain and I don’t really worry about alarming it accidentally. I will defiantly buy again and may purchase as stocking stuffers for my female family members in the future. For those confused by the design, the “button” is actually where the sound is emitted. I attached a picture for scale with my car keys and planner because I was imagining something more USB sized. Still very happy with the purchase!

Loud little safety instrument
My son comes home at 1am, so I'm worried about him at night. NYC doesn't allow stun gun, so I bought him this. He hooked it to his pant belt loop. He tried it, and darn it is loud. The whole point is if someone robs him, he can act like he is taking money out of his pocket and pull the pin. Loud siren may make them run away

It was small enough not to be seen and allowed me to rest better knowing I would be alerted if someone tried to ...
Was looking for something to attach to my laser Christmas lights (the expensive ones) to prevent them from being stolen, or at least alert me if someone tried to abscond with them. Using a ground screw, coated cable, and some small locks I was able to attach one end of this unit to the ground screw and one end to the light. Thankfully no one ever tired to steal them so it never alerted. It was small enough not to be seen and allowed me to rest better knowing I would be alerted if someone tried to wander off with my $300 Christmas light.

DAMNED LOUD!
Any other questions? Small and loud, looks just like a USB stick on your keychain. And did I mention, DAMNED LOUD!

LOUD LOUD LOUD
These are awesome....clips are firmly held in place but come apart easily with a quick pull.... I have lots of uses for these... I bought 3 and they all scream....

Definitely loud
This little guy is packing some major sound. I accidentally removed the top slightly when throwing my bag into the car (it's attached to the outside) I definitely got a headache... I'm small spaces this thing will work wonders. I'm unsure how effective it would be over long distances in large open spaces to notify people. But you would definitely know when you are getting closer to it.

Multiple uses
Purchased this for my daughter because she works late shifts. Hope she wont have to use it. Viewed several YouTube videos on this product, has many uses. Glad I did because if you attach the alarm to a bag or purse, you would want to put the alarm side on the bag or purse, not the pull clip. If someone takes off with your bag you can hear which way they went and track the thief, also it might make them want to drop the bag.

Holy loud!! Great buy!
Just as described and shipped fast. I actually ended up putting this on my key chain so I am able to pull it if someone approaches me. Very great for safety and I believe every woman should have one just to be safe! Great buy and will definitely purchase more.

I've tried a few, this is the best
I bought a few different sound grenades/personal alarms to try them out. This one was by far my favorite. Even though others listed a higher decibel level when I try them out this one seems the loudest. I sometimes go hiking/walking alone or hiking/walking with my dogs and tend to favor more isolated areas. I have a lot of wildlife in my area as well as the occasional guy who either is creepy from afar or decides they are going to invite themselves to walk with me which can also be unsettling. This can easily be clipped to a belt loop and forgotten about, but still very easily accessible. I was also hopeful it might scare off any animals I come across as I have come across coyotes twice before. Although that may be questionable, I tried it out in my backyard and while it made me have a mini heart attack over how loud it was both my dogs, one of which who can be scared of her own shadow, seemed excited and ran over to see what was going on. But maybe that's a good thing in case I ever need to use it for real. It would be nice to know my dogs wont freak and run off, while hopefully scaring off any unwanted wild animals/humans. EDIT: I read a lot of reviews that said people were disappointed that the pin stays attached to you and you are left with he alarm in your hand and that they would rather have the alarm attached to them. This is done on purpose. You are meant to throw the alarm into bushes or away from you in general so the attacker either cannot find the alarm to silence it, needs to move away from you in an attempt to silence the alarm, or so they do not try to go after you/attack you in an attempt to get to and silence the alarm. You WANT the alarm away from your personal body.
