Highly Entertaining
I love this game. It's simply an amazing game with fun, highly addicted gameplay that would surely satisfy both young and adults for hours. The amount of replay value and collectibles is enough to keep me playing for days. I would highly recommend this game to anybody.

Fun for all ages
I love this game and I’m a 29 year old SAHM! The “missions” are interesting and have a level of difficulty that keeps the player engaged, but not busy for hours on end. If you are a Luigi fan, or just looking for a fun game, this is the one.

This is an amazing game!
This is a downright amazing game! I was surprised because, as someone who doesn't play Nintendo games often, I had never heard of this franchise. This enters the realm of instant classic and I hope Nintendo makes more and expands. The game play is simple enough for a child to learn, but the puzzles are challenging enough that adults would have a tough time as well. The premise is this: 1. You have a vacuum gun that sucks and blows (R1 and L1 respectively). You can suck things up like ghosts, rugs, etc. Use this to move things in the game environment. 2. You have two different types of flash lights, a dark light and bright light (Y and A (I think)). They activate nodes throughout the levels and reveal hidden items and doors. These lights also are used to reveal or stun ghosts, which then you catch. 3. Each level has a main objective and each world has about 5-10 levels. You can rush through the levels completing the objective or take some time to find hidden things throughout the environment. You can interact with the world around you in unique ways. Fire will burn things or melt it, water is buoyant, etc. etc. 4. To progress through the game, use your tools to interact with the environment, catch ghosts, and find objects. Surprisingly, this doesn't get too old because just when you solve one puzzle, another one starts and might not be obvious how it plays together. You have to really study the rooms and experiment with that reacts to what stimulus. Don't be fooled, the game is a little childish and cartoony, but the puzzles can be downright tough, especially when you have ghosts trying to kill you. There are HOURS of content in this game just to complete the main quest, not to mention multiplayer skirmishes and 'ghost fights'. For $20 this game is a must-play for anyone with a 3DS. By the way, the artistic design of the game is amazing and fun, the 3D effects are the best on the console and luigi interacts with everything, from humming the same tune as the background music to little facial expressions that are pretty funny. I was very pleased with this purchase.

Great game!
I bought this because I love the first game and I needed to play this one before the third comes out, of course. This is a great game! The story is a bit different from the original, but it's good in its own unique ways. If you're a fan of Luigi's Mansion at all then yes, buy this game.

I love you Luigi's Mansion
I thought I had it all. You know? But it wasn't complete, wasn't nearly close to being in the same vicinity as complete, because I couldn't share it with this 3DS game. I couldn't hear it's voice or laugh with it. I miss my -- I missed my game. We live in a cynical world, a cynical world, and we work in a business of tough competitors. I love you Luigi's Mansion. You complete me....

Great Game
I am retired and was never much of a gamer, but I found this game fun and reasonably challenging. It is not so hard that I give up, but not so easy that it is no fun. There are lots of really neat graphics and interesting characters and challenges. I really like it and would highly recommend it to all. It's an excellent value too.

Fun
There are consistent mechanisms to this game but every stage is designed so that it feels new and requires you to think a little. It's easy but not too easy that you get bored. A person of any age can probably enjoy this game. For $20 this is worth buying, also because you can always resell or trade in for some money back.

Great game for younger kids.
My young son received this game for Christmas. He has spent many hours playing with this game. There are parts where he gets stuck and needs help, but the graphics are bright and colorful, attractive to the younger kids. I helped him a couple of times, and it doesn't seem too hard. He enjoys it and that is all that really matters.

I've been having a lot of fun with this one
I've been having a lot of fun with this one. I didn't know what to expect one way or the other, but it's actually made Luigi my favorite Nintendo character. I absolutely recommend for anyone who just wants to relax while they play while laughing at how ridiculous Luigi in a haunted house usually is.

Dark Moon is a game I did not expect. ...
Dark Moon is a game I did not expect. I had thought it was a remastered version of the original Luigi's Mansion and it turns out to be a sequel. However, this game holds up on its own, even if you have not played the first game you are not missing anything. My only issues are the camera angles that can get in your way, but those are issues since the Nintendo 64. If you buy the game I would only advise you to take your time and look for every hidden treasure and you will hours countless and enjoyable hours.
