Nice looking, and works well

Bought this stainless steel pizza cutter to replace another cutter that had begun to rust. I specifically bought stainless steel so rust will not be a problem going forward. This cutter is very nice looking, and easy to hold. We wash it in the dishwasher after use and it always comes out perfectly clean. Not sure about durability yet, but we're hoping for years of service from this cutter!

Stylish little pizza cutter that will last with proper care!

Kitchen aid has crafted a stylish little pizza cutter that is durable and equipped to breeze through even the thickest crust. It is hefty, and has quite a substantial feel in your hand. The handle is plastic, but the item has a premium feel to it, with no loose parts and squeaking plastic. The blade itself is quite thick with a good tapper - sharp enough to cut through any crust, and strong enough to withstand an aggressive pressure. It will not buckle or bend like some cheap pizza cutter. As some have said, the center screw/nut may be prone to rust, but I find that you can avoid rust on any kitchen equipment with proper care. I like to use some kind of oil to coat screws and nuts and help protect them from water moisture. But the most important thing is to wash them shortly after use, and HAND DRY the item! Seriously, lots of things will rust if you let them sit and soak in dishwater and then air dry. You can avoid rust entirely but properly caring for your things! Conclusion, great little cutter, very stylish, very durable.

Not a pizza cutter -- A WORK OF ART

Of all the pizza cutters I've ever had, this is the best. It looks and feels beyond sturdy. When I took it out of the box, I thought it looked like a sculpture. It also cuts through pizza better than any of the other crappy ones I've had -- which are many. I think it's the high quality blade. But the handle just feels awesome in your hand. I think I'm going to buy a few more in case they stop making these. This is your pizza cutter for life. Doesn't look like it's ever gonna break, but if it does, I want a few backups.

Kitchenaid delivers again

I was very impressed with this Kitchenaid pizza wheel when it. Kitchenaid definitely knows how to make quality products and this is another great one. This pizza cutter feels like it has a little weight to it and it is not something flimsy or cheap feeling when you are using it. I have cooked and used it on pizza, which I used this cutter on as soon as I got it out of the oven and it worked great. I have had others that seem to pull at the ingredients on the pizza and make a mess but this one cut right through it with no problems. I have also used it to cut through home made dough and it made great cuts and nothing stuck together.

Too dull, poor mechanism

I struggled for years with pizza cutters that did not work well. Too dull, poor mechanism, bad handle, I never failed to pick the wrong one. This one is awesome! We eat homemade pizza every Friday night. It has gone from torture to pleasure. Pros: Sharp blade Safe (I've had some that if you grip slipped you cut your hand because there was no protection from the blade) Rolls well Comfortable handle Goes through the dishwasher without collecting water in the handle Looks great Cons: None

I ordered this product just as a standard pizza wheel to cut pies I make at home. I was happily surprised to see that it was larger and more sturdy than I had expected when I ordered it. Great quality and seemingly built to last. I have used it twice so far and it cuts through the crispy crust with no problems. It cleans up nice too, I wash it by hand because I am worried about leaving it too long in the dishwasher and letting it rust, but it can go through the dishwasher if you want. Overall, great product just as you would expect from kitchenaid.

When that pizza is hot n crispy this thing really cuts it up.

Hey, stop playing with that butter knife. Get a pizza wheel and roll those slices out like a pro. You know you look goofy on family pizza night wrestling with that plastic pie serving knife... get a pizza wheel and serve your pizza with finesse.

High quality and worth the price

A review from one blind persons opinion… This is a great product and definitely worth the price! Sure there are cheaper alternatives, but I find when dealing with sharp objects, you should probably spend the extra money and not cut yourself! Are used a similar product while staying at a vacation rental, and upon my return home almost immediately ordered this item which was very similar and the same brand. I greatly appreciate the chunky handle, which makes it easy to hold. My only complaint is that I wish they handle had some rubber on it to make it a bit easier to grip than the smooth handle. I really appreciate that there is a guard that raps a few inches around the blade on either side so the wheel could be used left or right handed. This allows you to use two hands and apply extra pressure on a thick crust. It cleans easily and can go in the dishwasher, making life easy! I highly recommend this product.

Long lasting. Great for pizza eating families

These are the best pizza cutters I have ever had I had one of these I bought 9 years ago. I used it for 6 before I moved 3 yrs ago. It never faltered. Never got wobbly . I have bought a new one of other brands twice a year in those last 3. They dull and get loose. We love to make pizza in this house I am so glad to have this one. I am sure it will last me 10 years ...or more.

Pure QUALITY - Best pizza cutter I’ve ever owned!!!

This is, hands down, the BEST pizza cutter we’ve ever bought and we’ve had quite a few. It works flawlessly and has retained it’s good looks through many dishwasher cycles. It’s very well made and comfortable in the hand. Makes quick even cuts and washes up like a dream. Still ooks brand new after easily 80 uses & washes already and just is a quality kitchen tool. Most of the pizza cutters we’ve owned in the past scratch, rust, warp or the finish starts to come off. None of those worries with this one! I’ve been so pleased with it’s quality that I’m going to start buying all my kitchen ware from KitchenAid in the future.
