Great product! Works with new Nikon Z7!

UPDATE Sep. 27 2018: got my new Nikon Z7 tonight, opened the box and slipped one of these RAVPOWER in. Works perfectly. I was excited to try the new toy and did not want to wait for the new Nikon battery that can be charged in the Z7 via USB. Got over 500 shots with lots of playing around, and battery reads 11%. I have this dual charger in my car glove box, and keep 2 batteries ready to go when on the road. I have been a Nikon shooter for some 40 years. I have typically shunned third party items as they historically do not perform like the Nikon items, and they risk damaging the kit. After using these daily for over a month with my D500, I can tell you they seem indistinguishable from the Nikon battery in fit, finish, and performance. Also having a dual charger that I can connect to my car USB charger is very convenient for those days I have neglected to charge all the batteries before the shoot. This is my second product by RAVPower, and I must say they were both better than I expected before ordering them and excellent quality.

Put away the original charger with the camera, you won't need that anymore.

As photographer I always look for better solution to reduce my camera bag as tiny as possible. Nikon come with fat wall charger, worst than that it only able to charge one battery at once. I bought few other charge accessories as dual wall charger that come with long cable, then dual stand slot charger with USB port but all not work very well as I expected. Battery grip taken too much space and price not cheap. When I saw this item I know it is what I been look for. Pros: 1. Plug and charge nothing complicated 2. Less charge time than original charger. 3. 2 times juice for any long session like event, long exposure night shot, time-lapse etc. 4. compact size to put it any pocket. 5. very secure lock method for the battery. 6. Powerbank friendly which mean you don't need hunt for power outlet anywhere while outside. Cons None so far. Now I can pack my RAVPower Charger with GoPro USB charger with RAVP 20100mah powerbank with few cables to travel around and get all my devices always powered. And no more trouble about forget to charge my battery or without power source at session location.

A perfect replacement for the on-the-go photographer!

The RAVPower EN-EL15 batteries with the USB-based charger kit has been excellent for those long days where you're constantly leaving the DSLR on and at the ready for the perfect shot! Battery capacity does seem to be better compared to the standard nikon batteries, however I haven't tested whether or not it is a good idea to charge the OEM batteries with the included charger (I'm guessing it is ok.) The charger it's self has been extremely convenient when paired with a 12000 mAh power bank, like RAVPower's ACE Series of power banks. The batteries do come with an initial charge that will last you awhile, though I do recommend topping them off as soon as you open the box so that they're ready to go.

Excellent Quality

Product arrive and after inspecting everything. Everything was included that was said to be. The product page DID NOT say that power bricks, car charger, or power banks were include despite the inclusion in the photos. So the users that gave it a bad review should have read everything and closely! What is included is a MicroUSB cable, battery dock, and two batteries with caps.The batteries were as hefty, and well-built as an original one. I noticed that the USB cable was an above average feeling cable. It feels super fancy! Plus it cam with a rubber cable band! I look forward to using this product. After shooting a few shoots, I estimated that each should last for 1300 shoots on the Nikon D7000! That is just above the original battery! Pretty Good! For anyone that is wondering about the 5V USB charging 2 7V batteries, there must be a boost circuit in the docking station because with a multi-meter, the prongs measures 12V. I'm pretty sure RAVPower knows what they are doing! Imma leave them to be the expert!

Works great with the new Nikon D850 - got about 2500 photos from their batteries after a few charges.

I was a little skeptical of the USB charger, but it works great! The batteries were kinda weird at first - when the charger said they were full, my Nikon D850 was saying they were about 80%. Then they'd jump to 100%. Really odd, but I assumed it was because they hadn't been used yet - I'm hoping I'm correct in the long run. After 2 charges they are really solid. Last weekend I shot a wedding with the D850 and these batteries and I got about 2500 photos from it. Solid!

Great product. Would buy more and again if i needed

This has saved my life many times. Charges at normal speed of charging 1 battery when using a good usb power block. Love that its usb so I can use with whatever phone chord is in my bag... OR with my car charger or even with a portable usb power bank. Only issue is I wish the lights were next to the coorsponding batteries.. as its tough to see which light indicates which battery quickly in the dark on a job (I am a wedding videographer) and sometimes the batteries are tough to get out when fully clicked in... but I found you can rest them in halfway and it doesn't effect the charging connection... And makes it much easier to pull off. Those just a slight inconvenience compared to the benefits of this product. I highly recommend if you need to charge 2 batteries at a time like me.

Excellent Quality Charger and Batteries

Having purchased other RAVPower products and being quite satisfied, I gave the RAVPower dual battery charger a try expecting it to meet my expectations. Having used the charger and the 2 Nikon camera batteries that came with it for over a year and a half, it has more than exceeded my expectations. The unit charges all of my Nikon batteries quickly and the ability to use a 110 volt, 12 volt or USB makes it ideal for vacations or work in the field. Usually when batteries come with a non OEM charger like this, they are substandard or poor quality replicas of the originals. This was the biggest surprise, as the RAVPower Nikon battery clones are of exceptional quality. They charge quickly, without incident and hold a charge while being stored just as well as my original Nikon batteries. A year and a half later the batteries are still functioning extremely well. I actually use them more often than my original Nikon batteries, getting 5-6 hours of continuous use while shooting.

A must for D750 shooters

Not having backup batteries for your camera is an amateur mistake. Imagine driving hours to a friend's wedding, only to get there and find your camera won't even turn on. You don't want to miss that perfect shot because your battery is dead, or on the charger. I like that this comes with two extra batteries, which I have found last just as long as the OEM EN-EL15 that came with my D750. You need this especially if you're shooting video, which guzzles battery life. By far, my favorite feature of this charger is the USB power connection. If you travel often, you'll know that outlets are often at a premium. Pairing this with a multiple port USB charger is an absolute must for travel. You can charge the batteries on the go with a USB battery charger. It also makes it easier for international travel, as it's one less thing you need a plug adapter for. I used it in Ireland all last summer, around the US, and will be taking it to Europe again in the future. Another plus is that it seems more compact than the OEM charger, and can charge two batteries at once.

Pleasantly surprised! I was somewhat leery to purchase "generic" batteries for my good Nikon D7100, but I am happy to report that these are awesome. I did not receive anything for giving this review. I paid the Amazon price. Absolutely no problems at all with the items or the order! The batteries look and feel exactly like the Nikon factory batteries. In fact, they even have a slightly higher listed amp-hour rating, which basically means more battery fuel for your camera. Thus, you should be able to get slightly more photos per charge over the factory originals. I would think it safe to assume, at the very least, you should expect to get the same or better performance over a genuine Nikon battery. The order came with two RAVPower batteries, a battery charger, and a handy little USB cable. Once I opened the package, I plugged the charger cord in to the charger, and then the USB end into an adapter cube, which I then plugged into a wall outlet. I inserted the first battery and one light lit up red. I then inserted the second battery into the second position and the other light lit up red. After several hours the lights both showed green, meaning the batteries were charged. Then I tried them in my Nikon D7100. The fit was perfect, the camera turned on, and the power meter showed completely charged! I took several photos. I am happy to report that everything is wonderful! I am so happy that I purchased these! They are much less expensive than the Nikon originals, and I believe the quality is every bit as good! I even like the charger. The batteries just lay in the two charging areas. Nothing to snap in, and no room for errors. During that first charge I had left the batteries in the charger until the next morning before I took them out. The batteries were room temperature, which indicates to me that the charger works properly, and shuts off when the batteries are fully charged. If you need batteries for your camera, I really believe this item gives you the most bang for your buck! Two batteries and a good charger for much less than what you'd pay for a Nikon factory original. I am quite comfortable using them in my good camera, and I am really glad I purchased these! Very happy with RAVPower! If I need more batteries in the future, these will be the ones that I purchase!

Fantastic Less Expensive Alternative To Nikon Batteries

Really happy with this charger and battery set. I've been using the batteries interchangeably with the stock Nikon battery with no problems, charging times are in line with the Nikon charger that came with my camera. My D500 does not detect that these are not Nikon batteries and battery life is comparable to the stock battery.
