Highly recommend
Our home was infested with fruit flies. As a household of minimal fresh produce and a mostly nitrate rich menu, we were confused and horrified when these tiny, evil bastards took over our house. These apple jobs are LEGIT. Within an hour or less they had captured a good amount of flies. I just bought more.

Works great!
These work great, bananas are horrid attractants for these stupid gnats. Ye, the little gnats start with hanging out on the apple, but in less than 24 hours we had at least a couple dozen dead in the bottom. One of the apples got put upside down and lost the liquid. The second one we just filled with the second bottle the kit came with and the gnats were swarming before I was even done pouring it in. In the picture you can tell which apple had the liquid in it. Since we are now out of liquid we are going to try and refill the first one with apple cider vinegar and dish soap.

IT WORKS! I don’t understand the negative reviews...
I actually almost didn’t buy these fruit fly traps because of several reviews saying they don’t work. I rely on Amazon reviews when making most purchases and didn’t want to waste money. But since they were only $5 for a 2 pack, I decided to try it out for myself and am so glad I did! First, it’s super easy to use/setup. You literally just squirt the solution into the traps and then set on a counter. That’s it. After about half a day, the fruit flies started showing up dead inside the traps and it continued day after day. I don’t know if I have dumb fruit flies in my apartment or something, but I had no issues and they’ve killed over 45 of them.... we leave the balcony door to our apartment open most days to allow for the bay breeze to cool the unit, and the fruit flies flock in unfortunately. These have been lifesavers, and dramatically reduced the fly issue in our apartment. Highly recommend to anyone dealing with the same issues.

Product Does work.👍
These do work. Trapped lots of fruit flies over a 3 week period (yes,I had a problem). Didn’t see where you could purchase additional fruit fly attraction solution so I decided to make my own. I know could have done that in the first place. But these little apple containers are so cute and you don’t need to create some type of container with plastic wrap and rubber bands which looks awful in the kitchen. For me it’s worth the money to get the apple containers.

Worked great for me.
I am surprised at all the negative reviews as I have used this in my kitchen for 3 days now and the fruit flies are almost gone. First of all, I got 2 kits and used all 4 of the apples near my kitchen sink. I followed the instructions and used the supplied bait liquid and left all of them on the counter by my sink overnight. The next morning (day 1) one of the apples had 6 or 7 flies and the rest had none. The following morning (day 2) all of the apples had a few flies but there were still a few flies flying around. This morning, (day 3) there were dozens of fruit flies in each of the apples and only one fly flying around the sink which I was able to swat it dead. I plan to leave these out on the counter for now until they no longer work. Not sure how long this should last???

These work butt
I suggest buying a couple packs of these, save the little plastic apples and fill them with apple cider vinegar. Once the solution it comes with ran out, that's what I did. My video is just the apple cider vinegar I added. There stuff worked too but I feel like its the same stuff. So basically buy these cause they look cool and fill with your own stuff.

THE BEST fruit fly trap!
This is the best fruit fly trap I’ve ever tried, so I’ll stick to this from now on. As soon as I put these apples at the sink, they attracted all the flies. They were not even interested in the dishes in the sink or the fruit bowl anymore!! DONT BUY THE ONE WITH THE POWDER, that doesn’t do ANYTHING! The flies are totally not interested in that one.. This one has liquid and it makes an enormous difference. Especially this Terro brand one, because I tried other liquids and they were ineffective.

Best Fruit Fly Control out there!
I abundantly recommend this product. A few weeks ago, seemingly out of nowhere, we were overrun with them in our kitchen. I still can't figure out exactly how the fruit flies got in but they did and if you don't know, they lay eggs that hatch very quickly. I immediately ordered these traps from amazon and set them out. After 1 hour of being on the window ledge near the sink where the most of them were, they were all over the top.. then it was just a matter of waiting for them to find their way into the little holes. The next morning, best I could count, there were at least 10 dead inside of it. We placed one in our bathroom as well as I believe the ones I saw in there had nested in the sink drain as they are prone to do. Same thing, within a day, 5-6 were dead in the bottom. We've left them out and had 0 fruit flies since. The one and only complaint I have is that the instructions state to empty half the fluid into each of the two apple traps. That's fine, but there is no halfway marker on the bottle so you have to put a little fluid in and stop to see how close you are getting to approximately half.. ideally, the apple would have a marking on the clear window to indicate where you should fill to or the bottle should have a mark of that kind... either way, if you're careful you can fill it appropriately and it works fantastically.. the Terro liquid ant bait works great as well for ants of most all kinds. Within hours you will see less ants and within a day or two at the max, they will be gone.

You will see a dramatic decrease in fruit flies!
This product has only been in my house for eight days and it’s already done a world of good. I’ve seen a dramatic decrease in fruit flies. I like the stability of the bottom though I feel it could benefit from a rubber bottom for extra stability because it could still slide off the counter. As a person who does a lot of baking, I usually have fruit everywhere. It’s in my refrigerator, it’s on top of my microwave, it’s in bowls on the counters... Everywhere. I almost constantly have fruit flies and I hate sweating it flies while I’m trying to eat. Finally, I decided to do something about it and bought this product to test it out. To my amazement, it has worked wonders. I only have one little pesky fly left and I’ve just set out the second trap for him. I have full confidence in this product. My biggest complaint about it is that there are no refills. I love this product and I want to use it all the time! Though, I have seen some reviews that have said they pry it off the top of the screwdriver and used a mixture of apple cider vinegar and soap. I’m going to try that after 45 days when it runs out. The bottom line is: If you have fruit flies, buy this product!
