Great price and lots of cold beverage

I finally have a affordable double wall jug that stays cold. I've got a few smaller hydroflask jugs, but in the heat they don't always hold enough. This is perfect. The only negative is the lid. None of the other wide mouth lied fit it. They're close but don't work. A smaller drinking lid or straw option would be nice. I've updated this review to 5 stars after our recent hurricane. I filled it early Sunday morning with iced tea before I evacuated. Tuesday it was still ice cold with plenty of ice. It can't get any better than that !

Yeti quality at half the price!

Performs every bit as well as one of the more expensive alternatives. This growler keeps cold drinks cold for a ludicrously long amount of time, even with the lid unscrewed. The cap is ergonomically designed for ease of use, and absolutely water tight, to boot! If I had to choose one negative thing to say about it, it's that with 64 oz of liquid inside it, the bottle can get pretty heavy. This is a hard law of physics, and isn't really the Eegl growler's fault, but just know that a half gallon of water isn't an inconsequential burden for hiking or a casual picnic!

Ok so over a month of heavy use 7 - days a week .. In a Dumptruck , Boat, Pickup .. zero issues save me lots of money . I bottle of water is $1.30-$2.00 Bottle of Tea $1.59-$2.39 each here in St Louis Missouri . This item pays for its self fast ! Why waste money when you can have an ice cold drink all day ... I work outside 10months out of the year . The ice will last over 24hrs sometimes longer if I keep it in my truck and out of the sun . Zero Rust , Zero Damage to the black coating . I keep the product in the sleeve it came with .. Minor wearing .. Dumptruck has extremely strong vibrations and if it can stand that test then most people will never have an issue . I could buy a new one every other month and still save money . I spend a lot of money with Amazon and I'll say this has to be one of my favorite items I've gotten! Great Job Amazon and to the supplier its an amazing product and saves me lots of money .

These beer growlers make fantastic water jugs for sports!

Beautifully designed and fantastic quality growlers! I got 2 of these for my kids to use as water jugs for their soccer games. They love them too. The growlers' ample size holds more than enough water to last all day, and it stays nice and cold, and tastes great! Adjustable strap makes it easy to carry on the shoulder or over the shoulder, without the need to stuff it in the backpack. Wide mouth makes it super easy to drink from - and easy to wash!!! Best purchase ever - and I have gone through many disappointing plastic water jugs in the past.

Mine doesn't keep water cold for very long. Addressed and corrected by company 7/16/18

I have had this container for approximately 7 months at this point. I use it every day at work. I work inside so the bottle is not subjected to extreme temps. I purchased based on the tons of reviews about keeping drinks cold for an absurd amount of time. Absurd must be the operative word. At 6am I will place about 25 ice cubes from my freezer in the container and then fill up with water from the refrigerator so I am sure it is cold. By the time I get to work and pour out my first drink @ 730 or so the ice cubes are nearly melted away, by 11am the ice is gone and the water is well on its way to assuming ambient temp. YMMV but if this is what is considered a long time I must be living in a dream world. I would expect the water placed in the container with ice to at least stay cold for my 9 hour shift based upon other reviews but it isn't happening. I just drink room temp water after noon because the cold has left the building. :( Edit 7/19/18: After reading my review eegl responded and replaced my water jug. It wasn't requested nor expected. This is what customer service is about, follow up after the sale and reviewing feedback for issues. The new jug works substantially better, my water remains cold and still has ice after 10 hours at work. I am not sure what I will use the first one for but it won't be to ensure I have cold water, the replacement will be used for that. Thanks to the customer service team at eegl for identifying and correcting an issue when it wasn't requested or expected. You guys have made my day!!

Efficient outside in 115 degree weather all day long

My husband and I live in Tucson AZ where this time of year its been 115 degrees +. I bought him this growler to have cold water all day at work because he works outside. He fills this growler up with water and ice (Nice wide opening for ice), prior to work, usually drinks one bottle and there is still ice in the growler. Then fills up one more time with cold water at work (No more ice). Comes home from work and still has ice in his container. He loves that he only has to drink two bottles full and he get a whole gallon of water. He is an airplane mechanic and drops his growler, accidentally bangs tools against it and it is extremely durable. He does keep the jacket on it all day.

Durable and keeps everything ice cold all day

This product keeps my shakes cold all day. We took it to the water park all day in the heat and sun and the water stayed ice cold. The bottle it quite large, larger than I expected. Wish they made one a bit smaller. The carry case is quality material and the zipper is well made. I love that feature as carrying a water bottle can be annoying. It is not dishwasher proof so washing it can be irritating and since I use it for my morning shakes it often gets gunk inside that is difficult to get out come the end of the day when I wash it at home. Other than that it has been a great buy!

Best Bottle - Best Warranty - Best Customer Service!

So I bought the cool black bottle a few months ago! And I've brought that thing with me everywhere! The gym, the beach, the lake, even on a trip to El Salvador! It takes a beating and just keeps on going! Just a few days ago someone at the gym asked what all of the little black flecks were on my mouth, and it turned out that the black coating from the bottle was starting to flake off. (Must have been from those times I left it in the direct sun at the beach and lake?) Anyway, I contacted eegl and they just had me send them a picture of what was going on, and without hesitation, they sent me a brand new bottle! AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! For anyone who complains that it doesn't keep things cold for 24 hours, I would suggest placing ice cubes in it the night before you use it and place it in the fridge. then take it out the next day and put your drink and new ice in it and it lasts BEYOND 24 hours! I had ice for 2 straight days in there when I did that! Thank you eegl!!!

I bought this because I need something I can leave ...

I bought this because I need something I can leave in my mail truck during the hot days that will keep what I am drinking cold. No one wants warm water or Gatorade on a hot day. I have been impressed with it. We can't leave the windows cracked and there is no ac in our mail trucks. It can get to be over 90-100 degrees quickly in them. My drink stays cold all day long and I work up to 10 hours often. Even after getting home (40 minute commute) it's still cold. I will note that I always leave the sleeve on it. Also, one time I put it back in the fridge to keep what was left cold overnight and I put it in with the cap on. It stayed the same temperature, which tells me it doesn't let the outside temperature affect what's inside. Lesson learned, leave the cap off when in the fridge.

YOU CAN"T GO WRONG!

DO NOT HESITATE on this product! I previously was using a 1/2 gallon Igloo plastic sport cooler (Walmart $14). I work in a manufacturing plant on an 8 hr shift with warm conditions of 85 to 95 degrees thru spring and summer. I was mixing my powder gatorade into the igloo cooler with half water and half ice. About 6 hours later at work my ice would all be melted and not be as cold. A friend showed me his Rhino Zing Beer growler cooler and said he had ice left for over 24 hours. So thus began my search on Amazon for Beer Growlers. I checked brands like Swig Savvy, Rhino Zing, Beer Bud, and a couple others. I read lots of reviews. The "eegl brand" stood out for me because 1. good reviews and price 2. I saw where the Glink straw system would fit (no need to unscrew the stock lid every time to get a drink) about $8 from Amazon.3. The strap carry system I have to walk 3 min 40 sec. from the parking lot to the main entrance. This is designed well and allows me to have free hands to carry other things on my way in and out. And lastly a 5 yr warranty! This has been a perfect solution for my needs. I mix the powdered Gatorade half full with tap water .I then reach in my ice bin and grab ice in my hand and slide it into the opening. About 7 hand fulls for the 64 oz. growler. I have the crescent shaped ice and it is to messy to use the frig dispenser without some hitting the floor. A 2" opening is not really that big when dispensing crescent cubes. I really enjoy having ice left for a cool drink 24 hours later!
