Beautiful hat!! Can't wait to buy more for my nieces and younger daughter. The detail is sewn on all four sides so it doesn't move around and the elastic for under the chin can get talked up in the hat if your daughter doesn't like or need it.

Function AND Fashion!

My four-year-old daughter, who has a verrrrry particular sense of fashion, absolutely loves this hat. She had been wearing it (even while sleeping) for weeks and it had held up really well.

Perfect fit for 8 year old

I used this as a base for my granddaughter's mermaid hat. She recently turned 8 and this hat fit perfectly. I slipped off the flower trim, which she enjoyed using as a headband. Sewed on some tulle, painted seashells and yarn braids. It held up well against the weight of the decorations. Kept the sun off her on a hot August day. Would definitely use again as a costume base.

Cutest hat ever! Bought it for a photo shoot, although it was a little big for my 2.5 year old. Still great quality!

Cute and helpful to block the sun!

My 7 yo daughter LOVED wearing this hat all summer, and she got MANY compliments on it. The hat was: -Easy to pack -Easy to brush off/clean when it got damp or sandy -Great quality The beads around the brim aren't 100% secured, but could probably be glued down if you really wanted it to be. I let it be, thinking that this way the brim is a bit more flexible when we put it in the beach bag and in the suitcase. There IS a narrow elastic chin-strap if you want to use that on windy days.

It was a perfect fit for an 8 year old

Cute, cute, cute! It was a perfect fit for an 8 year old. The hat was of good quality and I liked the way it wore and the way it looked in the picture. We took the flowers off because we changed the color of the dress, the flowers can be replaced with another flower or with the same ones.
