Great cord, you won't regret buying!

This feels so cheap. I thought the braided cord would have a bit more quality and sturdiness. I don't see this lasting much longer in my car but so far it's working well for what I need. I'll likely update my review if it breaks in the next few months. EDIT: I am buying this again because despite what I thought initially this cord has lasted so long and I'm pretty rough with cords. I'm only buying again because I've seemed to have lost it due to travel which is upsetting but it's well worth the money and you definitely get more than you pay for, thanks for making good products at a reasonable price. Update: Dec 29 2018. I found the original cord so I didn't actually buy a new one. It's still working perfectly after over a year of use. Update:5/25/2020. Yall my cable is still working. It looks like absolute crap after spilling coffee on it but it still works and that's all that matters to me. I still don't need a replacement

Pay attention to what length of cord you are purchasing!

I ordered this cord for my car. So far it works great with no staticky sounds. Some people have this a bad review because the one they ordered was too short. Pay attention to what size you're ordering! I ordered the 3ft cord. It's the perfect length for use in the front seat. If you want something that will reach your back seat order the 6ft cord.

Just what I needed!

I was looking for an aux cord to replace the 3foot one that I have my Bluetooth headphones (my job won't allow us to use Bluetooth with our devices, long story). I had the issue of accidentally unplugging the aux cord from my headphones while I was using them. Now, I don't have that issue anymore. The sound quality is exactly the same as I was previously getting with my other Aux cord. The quality of the cord itself seems like it will last pretty long because it has a sort of "braided" or "weaved" material on the outside of the wire for protection. I Would 100% recommend this product.

Trust

In revamping a component stereo system from 1987 to bluetooth, along with a flat panel TV from 2014, I've invested in about nine different bluetooth transmitters, which are electronically duct-taped to various inputs, RCA and otherwise, throughout my living room. I went with Cable Creation because I found the braided cloth cable and the gold contacts sturdy and reliable. I had some GRUESOME experiences with the cheap cords that came packaged with the Trond BT-DUO transmitter/receivers I'm [primarily] using; I didn't know whether these would improve the signal strength enough to get rid of the drop-outs and static I was experiencing ... but they did, AND arrived a day early. You can trust this brand. It would be great if everything else I've purchased for this project worked as consistently.

I want to believe

I am obsessed with the concept of this cable, so to be nice I just added another star, because this company itself has a positive reputation with me and there is nothing misleading here. Their cords tend to be quite stiff, in general, but I have come to expect a high level of durability from their gear. Some guitar cables can't even withstand a small car driving over them, but CableCreation's version could withstand a very large vehicle driving over it several times. Obviously this cable is not the one to try that with, though I admit I am curious what it could withstand. The wire on this cable has a matte flat finish, but it is a tad stiffer than I expected, based on the typically rubbery coiled guitar cables you might have seen before. It reminds me of the stiffness of an optical cable, but slightly thinner than that. This is a headphone cable though, basically, so I don't have the exact same expectations. I just sort of wonder if I bent it in a sharp L in the area after the coil stops, would it suffer damage or even just snap. Hopefully it would not, but I am not going to risk trying that. As it stands, this is a very handy cable to have, in the way it retracts after unplugging, leaving a far shorter cord hanging out of your car stereo, headphones, or whatever device you use it with. I actually use this in my musical performance gear set-up, to connect a Monotron pocket synth to a compact mixer. The mixer has gold ports, and this cable has gold ends, so this gives me a lot of confidence, especially since this is one of the few cables I have to connect and disconnect when transporting my gear. It is great to not have to bundle up this cord. I just pop it out of one device and it jumps into the area of my set-up where the other device is, by itself. It is exactly what I needed, a stereo 1/8 inch coiled cord with gold tips. I assume there is a benefit to having it be this stiff, but who knows? Keep in mind that I have not had this very long, so I don't now how it holds up over time. Right now it has absolutely zero static or crackle, and the sound quality leaves nothing to be desired, to a novice ear such as my own.

Just what I needed to plug various things into aux inputs and the price is extremely attractive compared to the bandits at the local brick'n'mortar store that will remain nameless.

This is the 2nd product I've bought from CableCreation. Last time it was a pack of USB-C cables with great construction and perfect length. So I trusted them on this AUX cable, and it's wonderful. Same great construction, fun colors, and I love that the short half-meter length makes it easy to keep in my car without a lot of excess slack. The audio quality is superb. I needed a new one because my old one was bulky and would get pushed out by my phone case, but for this one, the end is sleek and perfectly sized to the port. It solved the problem exactly as I was hoping.

Works, Looks Professional, no more tangled hanging mess.

I drive a semi truck and assigned a different truck every shift. I drive long shifts and need my music and podcasts. A few of the trucks have bluetooth, the rest you need to plug in your device to listen to your music. The radio is on the dash and there is usually a cubby hole close to it to store items like my MP3 player. A regular cord not only ends up tangled in my other cords stored in my carry bag but they also tend to hang down in the way of my cup holders and air brake controlls. I lost my last cable and came across this one while looking for a replacement. It stays out of the way and actually looks very nice when plugged in, Very professional looking. The sound is every bit as good as any other cable I have used. It looks and feels solid, Only time will tell how well it stands up to daily use. I actually lost this after having it only 2 days between shifts, I must have dropped it somewhere, but liked it enough to immediately order another. I do not think I will ever go back to a regular straight cable. Now I just need this style cable for my phone charger.

I love using this cord in my car!! I was so tired of the basic cords that would fray and damage easily. But this one withstands use very well and I'm going to be using it for a long time! Have had it for 7 months so far. Great product.
