Arrived fast, great gift

My husband and I ordered this card for our friend's birthday on March 28 (Thursday). We are not a prime member and we chose "free shipping" (the package should arrive on April 3-5). BUT we received the package FASTER - on April 1 (Monday), so on the fourth day. Consider that 2 from these 4 days were weekends. Thanks, Amazon! Let's talk about this card. Our friend - is a person who is hard to shop for. He has a lot of hobbies but tries to choose products that have good quality and overall he reads a lot about the item before he buys. So we prefer not to buy real items for him, we give him an opportunity to choose. And the Amazon gift card is PERFECT! Amazon has a great variety of different items to choose from in any department you like. It was easy to buy the card. All we had to do - is pick the $ amount. I thought it will be some additional costs for the package with the bow. but NO! You pay $100 for a $100 gift card with even no taxes (for the state of Florida). The card comes in a pretty box with an orange bow. The box inside is upholstered with black velour fabric. And the card is secured in slots. Pros: 1. Best gift card and gift card box I have ever purchased. Best part is the box is reusable. If you are lucky enough to receive this fine product, once you use your gift card, you can buy a new gift card and give it and the box to someone else. Genius!

Standard Gift Card

My first review did not count so I will concentrate on product description (as requested): The card is in a box. The box is small and has a bow on it. The card is 'standard' card sized so it can fit in a wallet with credit cards. It contains a code which can be used on the amazon website instead of money to purchase items. When the money associated with the card has been spent, the card can be disposed. I have used many of these in the past and they all work. I have given many as gifts and those all worked too.

Gift cards are great

Bought this for my husband and put the cost of the Nintendo Switch on it prior to the release date of the Switch. He enjoyed hunting the then hard to find Switch and it kept him busy for a week, trying to find the system.

This is a pretty self explanatory gift. I love giving Amazon cards for gifts! The pros : (1) They arrive quickly. (2) The box and bow look pretty nice. (3) Your recipient gets to select exactly what they want from a wide range of possibilities! No guesswork involved! (4) Easy gift. Make a few clicks and it arrives. The cons: (1) This particular box doesn't look quite right for a kid gift. It has an adult gift look to it. (2) I always worry that these will get "lost" in the delivery process. I worry, somehow it won't arrive intact or at all in my mailbox. Let me be clear, it hasn't happened, but I worry. (3) You have to get enough value to trigger free shipping or the recipient pays shipping. Overall, I really like giving these. Great value, great selection, easy to give and receive gift!
