Great Coffee maker all the way around! Using same coffee I always have..but it tastes so much better now. Didnt realize what a difference the coffee maker can make in the taste and aroma of your coffee. Very pleased! I have had mine almost a month, with no complaints. No issue with cleaning light coming on after just a few pots of coffee ( and I make 3-or 4 pots a day and still hasnt required me to clean, I run my water through my brita pitcher first.) Only time it made a mess was due to my own error..I forgot to take it out of no drip mode before turning on..and of course it overflowed all over my counter. OOPS! Only thing that would be nice is if hot plate stayed on longer..but not a huge deal as I can always go over and turn it back on if need be. I totally recommend this product!

I've only been using this for a few days but I LOVE it. I know it doesn't make true espresso, but as someone who has been making espresso-like espresso (using espresso beans always) using a french press and moka pot this feels like a step up. I always hated cleaning both of those items. What a pain! This is easy to use, easy to clean, water is measured automatically. So far I've made lattes and flat whites and they taste delicious. The frother works well and is really easy to use AND to clean (plus!). I love that I can make just a cup right in the mug. I also made iced cappuccino which was great as well! I highly recommend this if you love fancy drinks as well as straight up coffee (works great for my husband and I). For me, the true espresso machines with drip coffee integrated were price prohibitive. Also, this takes up very minimal counter space. It's not very deep, the water canister removes easily so you don't need to pour water from the top. And the frother stores neatly in the back of the machine. I hope this lasts as long as the drip maker we replaced lasted us. (15 years!)

I got it for our anniversary since my husband loves coffe and had a keurig and a regular coffee maker. It is awesome. I think I was more excited than him. We have experimented with the frother and the different kinds and I think I'm getting addicted to coffee again. Definitely worth it.

Day 1: LOVE. Beautiful design, easy set up. Just what i wanted: coffeehouse beverage (have made 3 iced lattes today.) and he ability to brew a pot of reg coffee or just a cup! I will update review if needed, but amazon always backs their products! Very excited so far. The specialty brew, espresso-LIKE brew, does the trick for me. I live in nyc and visit specialty coffeehouse too regularly to admit for an iced latte. NO MORE.

I’ve had this for 6 months. It is the best coffee maker that I’ve owned. I’ve had a Keurig Rivo, Hamilton Beach flex brew, Mr Coffee espresso maker and typical coffee makers. I liked the Rivo, but buying pods adds up. The single cup from the Hamilton Beach never came out right. I make my latte everyday and I love being able to buy whatever coffee I want to use. Single cups & pots come out perfect. I noticed several comments about the clean light turning on too frequently. I use my Ninja several times a day, and the clean light only comes on every 6-8 weeks. I only use bottled purified water.

I have this Ninja coffee bar for over a month now with me using it every day. Here is my thought on it. When the time came for me to look for a coffee machine, my first thought was a Keurig. We have one at work and most of our friends have one. But the more I thought about it, the less I like. The pre mix coffee pods are convenient, but they are expensive when comparing price per cup and all that plastic gets added to landfill which is bad to the environment. The pod to add your own coffee solve the price and landfill problem, but like the regular coffee pod, can only make one cup at a time. If I want more than one cup, I have to make each additional one. After several weeks of researching and reading the reviews from other users, I finally settle on this particular model with a glass carafe. If I have to sum it up with one word to describe this coffee maker, it's WOW! It far exceeds my expectations. I won't go into each settings or features, but I will say that with it, I can make coffee from individual 8 oz cup to a full carafe. It has settings to make different brews as well as a frother to froth hot or cold milk. The coffee flavor far exceeds my expectations. No longer do I have to stop by a coffee shop for a good cup of coffee whether I like it hot or cold. I tried different settings for individual cup and my favorite is cafe forte. The coffee flavor is my favorite. I find that even with my largest travel size mug I have at home that still fit under the coffee maker and I have the coffee maker sets to the smaller travel size mug, it still fills coffee nearly to the rim. Since I like my coffee with creamer, I would have to pour out some of the coffee first. As a work around, I just set it for 8 oz cup and have it fill up my travel mug and still leave enough room for me to add creamer. On days when I'm home and will be drinking coffee throughout the morning, I brew either a large size travel mug into the carafe or make half a carafe and let it stay hot. The Ninja does come with a washable coffee filter. I found that if I use a fine ground coffee with the washable filter, some of that ground found its way into my coffee cup. Since I don't like tasting coffee ground, I use a paper filter instead. If you're looking for a great coffee machine that makes great tasting coffee, it's hard to beat this Ninja.

This coffee maker is a game changer. It has so many functions and allows you to brew a whole pot, half a pot, 2 travel sized mugs or a single cup all with the turn of a dial. Its water reservoir is easily removable to be filled or cleaned. There is a side frother for milk as well. No need for pods or k cups just pour your favorite coffee into the metal mesh basket and push a button. Perfect

I was using a French press and got tired of it. No real reason. I saw this and thought I'd give it a try. I love it. French press is gone. This makes VERY good tasking coffee and it's very hot, which was my annoyance with the French press. First cup was hot; the rest not so hot. I also like it for making iced coffee which is my drink for the hot summer. But I'm buying paper filters because cleaning the filter in the Ninja works but uses a lot of water to get it out so a paper filter will help. AND, someone posted something about making sure that it will work under the cabinet. I now know why that was written because you need space to remove or open the water tank. Also, the steam that comes out at the top on the left probably isn't good for the bottom of the cabinets. So mine is not under anything and everything is fine. Anyway, the bottom line for me on this is that I am very happy with this product. Haven't used the frother yet but don't think it will be a problem.

I purchased this coffee brewing system as a replacement for a K-cup brewer that my wife and I had used for years and so far, I am impressed. The best feature of the system is its versatility; it can make anything from a single 8.5oz cup to a full carafe, and just about anything in between. And it doesn't just make coffee: I am a tea drinker and I love the option of dropping down the mug rest and just dispensing hot water into a mug. There is also plenty of room for me to fit my Adagio Teas 16 oz. ingenuiTEA Bottom-Dispensing Teapot under the dispenser when I use loose leaf tea. The machine doesn't brew quite as quickly as a K-cup system might, but I'm impressed by how much faster this one is than the traditional drip coffee pots I'm familiar with. The glass carafe is sturdy and large enough for multiple coffee drinkers to each have a cup or two after a single brewing, and the removable mesh filter is easy to clean. I don't typically use paper filters at all; I simply tap the used coffee grounds into my compost bin, give the filter a quick rinse and place it back in the brewer. The system has some settings that I might not ever use, but it's nice to know they're available (e.g. brewing extra-strong concentrate for specialty drinks) and they add to the overall versatility of this system. The water reservoir is not huge, but it's large enough that I can make a travel mug of coffee for my wife and a cup of tea for myself and still have enough water left over to make another cup. Additional features: the milk frother is a feature I didn't think we would use, but I am impressed by what it can do. It's a "nice to have" option for making specialty flavored coffee drinks (included with the system is a booklet with some tasty recipes). The attached coffee scoop is also nice; it won't get lost and it even has markings on it to indicate how many scoops of grounds to use for each brewing size option (the suggested scoop markings seem to brew fairly strong coffee, so you might want to start on the low end of the suggested range the first time). My only complaint is that I wish the brewing sizes were marked (in ounces) on the pad around the selector dial (there is a sticker with the specific volumes, but that is meant to be removed before using the brewer. Pros: Versatility in brewing sizes; dispenses hot water; brews quickly compared to traditional "drip" coffee machines; no need for paper filters Cons: Water reservoir could be a little larger; lack of volume (ounce) markings on the brew selector dial

Ninja Coffee Bar ... where have you been all my life!?! This is a great machine with an effective frother attached at the side. I appreciate the reusable filter. Because it is made of mesh, a bit more of the coffee ground finds its way through the filter than when using a paper filter, but the taste of the coffee is richer because more of the OILS have also passed through the mesh filter. If very fine residue at the bottom of your cup bothers you, a paper filter can be placed inside the mesh filter and you'll avoid that altogether. There are so many options ... full carafe, half carafe, large cup, small cup, condensed, etc. I most enjoy my iced coffee, which is brewed in a condensed fashion into a cup and then poured over a glass of ice, diluting the concentration of the coffee to a normal concentration. The frother also works really well. I only wish it had an option to heat the milk when I want a hot coffee.
