- PERFECT SIZE FOR A TRIP TO VET: A pet carrier that gives you the best features of both hard and soft carriers! 17" long by 13" high by 14" wide, it's suitable for cats, small dogs, and other pets.
- HARD BASE & PROTECTION: A hard top and hard base give you sturdy protection for your pet, and gives your pet a firm surface to stand on.
- EASY FOR STORAGE & COMFORTABLE INSIDE: The soft sides can be folded down so the whole carrier fits into a neat little package -- just the top and bottom zippered together. Takes up very little storage space while it's not in use. A padded mat in the floor gives your pet a comfortable place to lie down and a non-slip surface to stand on. A see-through mesh door lets him or her keep an eye on the world outside.
- EXTRA-SAFE & BREATHABLE: The carrier is made from premium materials, YKK zippers, and panels of tough but breathable mesh.

Great concept
This is a great design and my dog really loved sitting in as a bed unassembled. Unfortunately it was a little too small for him, but I love the concept of a round carrier, because he usually loves to curl up into a little ball. I hope they'll make a slightly larger size. I also think some detachable wheels would be fabulous for this thing. Since he's an ESA dog, I put the bottom part on my lap and it helped him sit still and comfortably throughout the flight.

Highly Recommended
Be aware, the mesh of the door will not hold up if your cat decides to start scratching it repeatedly. The rest of the carrier is sturdy and personally I find the material quite pleasant. The carrier is an attractive design and can be used as a cat nest in multiple ways: fully assempled, without top, or without top and sides (simply mat). Both of our cats are quite happy to use the carrier as a nest, and we leave it in a corner for them. They spend a good amount of their lives inside of it, so we are buying a second one so they both can have a little home. As you can see, our 17-pounder fits in it quite nicely.

Like it
At first I bought this with the intention to give it to someone with a Savannah for Christmas. When it arrived I thought it would probably be a bit small for such a large cat; I however needed another cat carrier and thought it would fit my regular sized cat quite well. It was a little difficult to zip together the first time, but once I realized how to do it the second zipper went quickly. I opened the door and set it down on my living room floor. My cat who loves hidey holes was in it almost immediately. I also own a very large plastic carrier with a curved back and tall metal bars throughout for visibility, also bought on Amazon... and they both have their pros. I know it's important to have one carrier per cat in case of an emergency, so I wanted to get something that could be folded away for storage since I live in a small apartment. The other carrier cannot be folded and put away. Because this one is more like a hiding cat bed area, my cat actually likes it so much that I've left it out and open for her. She gets in it for a little while each day. I can only imagine this is going to make it a lot easier when I need to get her to the vet. I've never seen a plastic carrier that a cat actually wanted to hang out in. My cat can definitely see out of this one, and yet it still is dark enough that she feels secure. Some cats like more open carriers so they can see what's going on, but my one cat in particular definitely prefers to be in cozier, secluded places. I've never had any issue with my baby who loves this carrier using the bathroom in one. While you can wash the little bed in it, it probably would not be good for cats who tend to do this. If that's an issue for you, I would recommend the Suncast gray and blue cat carrier for sale on Amazon. It's the best plastic carrier I've found so far. BOTTOM LINE: My cat and I both like this carrier, and your cat will too if they prefer to feel like they are hiding when in their carrier. It's great for those who have limited storage space.

The talk of the vet's office
This carrier has gotten compliments from the techs at the vet's office; they all want to know where I bought it. I wasn't sure how sturdy it would be when I chose it, but those worries have been allayed, as it's holding up just fine. It's even been belted into the back seat in my caregiver's car (through the top handle) with no warping or deforming (kind of important, since my cat was in it at the time!). I'm pleased with how quickly it arrived, too; my cat had enough time to become comfortable with it prior to her first vet visit. Currently, it sits in the living room, where she loves to curl up inside her cozy little "kitty cave" where she can look out, but still feel hidden. The cushion is easy enough to remove that even she can do it, when she wants to lay on it outside the carrier. I like that, and I also like that I'll be able to take it apart to make for easier cleaning (or if I need to stow it away). The case arrived with the top & bottom zipped to one another, with the body and cushion tucked neatly inside. The zippers that join the parts of the carrier surprised me with being simple enough for me to zip & unzip without hassle; the ones on the door are what most attracted me to this specific case: there's a clip attached to one pull with which to fasten them together, in case you have a little furry Houdini. (I paid the listed price for this carrier; I received no promo for this review.)

Parakeet Approved
I received the pet carrier promptly several hours after placing the order using the same day Prime service; I couldn't be happier. This is a fantastic carrier that my lineolated parakeet took a liking to straight away. It doesn't have the sterile feel of a hard-cased carrier and though it's not truly soft like fabric carriers, its material (similar to neoprene) is pliable yet sturdy. Many of the reviews I read pertained to small dogs or cats, but with a few simple additions, this could easily suit a bird. I know one of the questions asked was about the size of the ventilation holes; they are ovals with approximate dimensions of 1&1/4 in x 5/8 in. Since the carrier already comes with a small black fleece cushion, a perch made of a dowel cut to size, a hanger bolt, fender washers on inside and outside secured with a wing nut or acorn nut on each end would certainly be a simple DIY project. If DIY isn't your cup of tea, I found the plastic "Wonder Hanger," an As Seen On TV product which hangs garments on hangers in a layered vertical style, fits perfectly in the carrier as a perch and even as a device from which to hang toys. See photos attached. My only advice for any pet owner is to air out the carrier prior to use. It has a rather strong smell, comparable to a new pair of sneakers, but one that could trigger a headache if left in your presence for very long. Also, zipping up the carrier for the first time is not for those with compromised dexterity. The design is simple and requires no instruction, but physically lining up the zippers to seal the enclosure while trying to hold the zipper pull against the bottom stop takes a bit of coordination.

Just what I was looking for
I chose this rating because this piece fits my needs exactly. I have a seven pound service dog and I am training a six pound service dog, so I need to carry two dogs with me at the same time. This was rather burdensome until now, carrying two dog bags. This new carrier is large enough for both of my dogs to fit comfortably for a short time such as when we go into a restaurant. This will also double as a portable crate for one. I did not purchase this as an airline carrier and I am not sure that it would work in that capacity, but for car travel and general purposes this is going to be fantastic for me. I did not have the trouble some reviewers mentioned about zipping the parts together. I don't think I would take it apart and unzip it too frequently but it was not too difficult, perhaps the manufacturer improved that feature. Another reason I ordered this is because one of my two dogs really prefers to sit upright in a carrier and not lay down, so this will be more comfortable for him. There are lots of ways for them to look out of this and my dogs jumped right in!

Great new style carrier!
I work at a veterinary hospital. One of our clients brought her cat in to see us in this pet carrier. I admired it and she showed me how the top and bottom zip off, you fold the sides down, then zip the hard top to the hard bottom to store it flat. I have a conventional hard cat carrier, but really needed another one since I have two cats. With limited storage space, this is the perfect answer. I haven't actually used it yet, but as soon as I put it together my cats were fighting over who was going to sleep in it! (It comes with a soft pad for the bottom.) A friend of mine came over who has several cats, saw the carrier and asked me to order her one, which I did. I think it is a very well made carrier. The zip opening in the front is larger than the one on my solid carrier so I think it will be easier to get the cats in when I plan to actually take them somewhere!

Very cool concept that works well--I've used this carrier three times ...
Very cool concept that works well--I've used this carrier three times now for vet/other visits. It's a bit tricky to zip together, and I was a little worried it might fall apart, but once it's together, it's very sturdy. Both cats liked to use it as a den/hide, and the zippered top and door give you multiple options for getting reluctant cats in/out at the vet office, which is very handy! Haven't collapsed it back down for storage because the cats like it too much, but may get a second and get rid of my old 'regular' cat carrier for just that reason.

Large carrier for our large cats - they love it !
We have tried several carriers for our cats - this is the first and only one they actually like. We leave it out and open, and they get inside it daily on their own. I especially like the zip open top - you can zip the door closed and put the cat in through the top if needed. Our cats are very large and heavy, and we have no problem carrying them in this - they fit inside comfortably.

Envy at the Vet's Office!
Just got this for my 4 month old kitten, but it is loved by all the pets in the house, including a 19lb domestic shorthair cat and two chihuahuas (7 and 12 lbs). Comfortable and spacious for all of them (not at once!). Very clever design, and a number of people, clients and clinicians, at the vet office were really impressed by it. In fact, it almost got more attention than the kitten, a hairless sphynx, which was quite unusual! Well packaged, shipped immediately, easy to assemble, disassemble and store. Highly recommended, and we'll probably be getting two more!
