So after I paid almost $30 for a set of halogen bulbs at he auto parts store just less than 1 year ago and then having them fail within a month of each other I decided that I would make the switch to LED and try them out. I was pretty sceptical at first because of some reviews about Auxbeam and some other companies. But, not to be deterred by the naysayers I chose these to try out. I installed them during the day and when I first switched them on I noticed a slight purple hue to them. This was not what I expected out of them but, I really wanted to see them at night. Once I turned them on at night I immediately knew I had found my new lights! they are as white as they can get without hitting the blue spectrum and there are no spots anywhere in the beams. Just perfectly even, bright white light. No purple or blue at all. And I'm really not sure where that was coming from while I was driving around in the rain during the day.The brightest area is right where you need it (if your headlights are aimed properly) but the freeway and street signs were glowing bright for 1/4 mile ahead of me like my high beams were on. However no one seemed bothered by it on the road and when you stand in front of the car they aren't blinding outside of the main beam. It really is perfectly smooth even light from up close to far off and even lights the shoulder nicely. I have an 95 Honda Accord with the stock headlight housings and they work flawlessly! WORTH IT ALREADY! Now, the real test is will they last more than 1 year? We shall see.

These are my 1st set of LED headlights - coming from 10+ years of using HID lights across multiple vehicles. I am impressed - instant on, great color temperature and very easy to install. These are the real deal, easily as bright or brighter than any 35watt HID kit that I have ever used before. Put these on my 15' Jetta - what a difference, changed the whole look of the car AND increased night time visibility 10 fold over the stock halogen. Very satisfied - I even bought a second set for my fogs - I am not going back to HID, LED is here to stay. Hats off to Auxbeam for a great product.

There's a few complaint found with these lights, and LED's in general. Once you understand how to easily correct these issues, these are great lights. IF LIGHTS DON'T WORK It's not just the Auxbeam, but most LED lights are not wired the same way as the halogen's that are currently in our cars and trucks. I may just be referring to U.S. vehicles here but I don't know. For the LED's with two pronged connectors (like the 9005's and 9006's), merely flip the connector. The locking connector on the harness will be on the wrong side of the locking pin on the light. If you don't want to re-wire your harness, just zip-tie the connector together to assure they don't come apart. IF THE LIGHT BEAM IS NOT CORRECT I've seen complaints of scattered beams and of beams too narrow. This problem comes because of the design of the light AND the design of the light housing. Because of the large tabs on the halogen bulbs, the LED bulbs can be installed in two ways: with the LED's to the top and bottom or with the LED's to the left and right. Technically, the bulb is designed to be installed with the LED's to the top and bottom; but headlight housings may cause you to reinstall the light with the LED's to the right and left. How do you know which to use? I'm glad you asked. Look inside you headlight housing and notice how the reflective dome is made. If your using this 9005 bulb, you should have two reflective domes; one for low beam and one for high beam. Is the single dome round or rectangle? Some domes are completely, or close to, round. Some are rectangle with very little reflective mirror to the top and bottom. If your dome is round, you are more than likely going to install the light assembly so that the LED's are at the top and bottom. If your reflective dome is rectangle, you will install your light assembly so that the LED's are to the left and right. To install the LED's to the left and right may take a little finagling as they are technically designed to be installed to the top and bottom. It is not hard to accomplish, you just have to find the right position to start in that you can make all three tabs fit simultaneously and end up with the LED's to the left and right. My headlights have rectangle reflective domes. I installed the lights with LED's to the top and bottom and found the lighting was less than adequate. Once I moved the LED's to the left and right they light the road so much better. As far as the lights are concerned. The vehicle I installed these on is a semi-truck. I tried the brighter halogen's but the rough roads and rough ride of the truck would knock them out quickly. These headlight bulbs are brighter than the bright halogens and have handled the rough ride quite well. I'll be purchasing some for our cars.

These were very bright, appear well made, a lot easier to work with than HID's extra ballast component, and were equivalent in price to a good set of regular bulbs. Very pleased. One negative is that the high beams make very little difference for whatever reason. I would have liked to have the high beams raise the field of light much more like regular bulbs and HIDs have don successfully in my same light housing.

So far so good. I just put these in y2k.truck amd they are fantadtic bright and clean looking. Definitely 100% better than stock. I put this on my 2017 toyota tacoma. These replaced the high/low and fog lights. So all lights replaced looks freaking awesome. I am giving it 5 stars for now and so far no troubles. I will update tje review as it gets used over the month and or years to confirm long term reliability. Changing all 6 bulbs on the tacoma took about 30 minutes. Easy project on this truck because all bulbs are easily accessible. It is definitely an upgrade I would recommend. Note make sure you habe enough room for it to fit in your vehicle . physically the bulbs are bigger chassis than stock because They have a heatsink and built in fan. You can hear the fan when you turn on the lights. Once thw motor is running you dont hear it. I would carry tbe originals as spares in the truck incase any of them fail. Like I said I will update review on longevity as I use them through.

Excellent lights. Plugged in directly enough and bases are shallow enough to fit in the relatively short lamp housings. Huge difference in light output. Also nicely blue white rather than the yellow of regular halogens. I would say these are probably 6500k temperature. The result is a much better and crisper field of vision, signs and road markings really "pop" in comparison to the halogens. Have not had anyone flashing at us either as far as oncoming traffic goes. In short, a HUGE improvement over stock. Except longevity will be good, and will update accordingly.

I bought some aftermarket headlights for my 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe and the halogen bulbs it came with were horrible. I could barely see. I upgraded to the Sylvania ZXE halogen bulbs and they were a bit better, but when it was raining at night I could hardly tell I had my headlights on. This is partially in fault to the projectors on the headlights not being the greatest. After both of the XZE's blew on the same day (wth?!!?) I decided to pull the trigger on some LED bulbs. After installing these Auxbeams, I was thoroughly impressed! The light is PURE white, they even make the decorative LED's on my car seem a little yellow in comparison. They are incredibly bright, putting most HID's to shame. My only complaint would be the noise from the fans. I can hear them humming along inside my headlight enclosure from the interior of my car if I have the radio off and sit at idle. I did not take off a star for this because they aren't terribly loud or distracting, it's just noticeable. Most people wouldn't notice or question the hum at all, and I imagine most cars have more sound dampening than my sports car so you may not even hear it in your vehicle. I would highly recommend these over a HID conversion kit, much simpler to install and these things PERFORM! Also, note that with these H7's you must remove the bracket from the bulb, install the bracket into the socket and clamp down, THEN insert the bulb and twist to lock. Otherwise the heat sink will interfere with the clamping mechanism.

I must first say these are in normal reflective headlights. I am building new headlights that will be retrofitted with projectors in about a week. Now on to the lights. I have attached a couple of pictures to show color difference and brightness compared to a generic stock bulb. The difference is clear. These leds have a almost pure white color and are much brighter. They feel very well built with a aluminium housing and rear fan for cooling (they get very hot). As you can see from the pictures they are not non projector friendly (not completely) as they allow alot more light to flood upwards. The installation is as easy as changing a headlight bulb in whatever vehicle you have and turning the bulbs for proper led placement is easy with just 1 screw. If you are in the market for a led upgrade I would definitely recommend these. Disclaimer: For my Jeep I have to use 50watt resistors to work. Otherwise I get flicker and blinking.

These headlights are outstanding for the an unbelievable price. Took me 5 minutes to install on my 2007 Corolla CE. These are a huge upgrade to the halogen bulbs I had. Now I can not speak on the longevity of these Auxbeam lights because I have only had them for one day, will write and update if something happens down the road. The clarity these provide with a pure white look is what I like so much about them. I installed them on my low beam (9006) version and they made me question why I have denied myself such a better view of the road at night. Not to mention that these definitely update the look of the vehicle to keep up with most the new cars with OEM leds. I will be ordering the 9005 high beams as well, I just figured I would take a chance with these before I bought 4 of them and hopefully this review will hope the rest of you out. I did notice that when I first start my car they flicker for maybe 15 seconds then turn normal. I guess this is something to do with warming up and the fans because if I turn my headlights on before I start my car they will not flicker when I start it after that.
