Ordered on a drunken wim, impressed.
Honestly, I ordered this drunk one evening when it was on sale. When it came in the mail, i was pretty interested in setting it up and after playing with volume settings, I am actually pretty impressed. Crisp, Clear and at a good volume I have zero complaints across all VOIP platforms and games alike. Very easy to set up, hardest part was trying to find a good spot on my desk for the boom arm. For the price point, I find this setup to be a steal. Great quality and sound, I am pleased with my drunken self making this purchase.

Much clearer/louder sound
I needed a microphone for my business to make videos (and maybe some podcasts, etc.). We have a Nikon that takes video, but the built in microphone isn't very strong, nor is it exceptionally clear. This microphone will help us take our video sound to the next level. We took two videos. The first was using the Nikon with the TONOR microphone. The 2nd was with the on board microphone. The video taken with the TONOR microphone had much clearer, distinct sound that was louder and more defined/crisp. It also picked up subtle sounds from the environment like the ticking cuckoo clock and so on. The on board sound was muddier and just not as clear or loud. It also didn't pick up as much sound as the TONOR in general. One thing to know - you NEED a Phantom power supply to power this microphone which I purchased separately. You plug the power supply into the wall. You then plug the microphone into the power supply and then you take the other cord with the 3.5 mm end and plug it into the video recorder (in our case - the Nikon camera). The microphone comes with a shock adsorbing scissor arm that I attached to my work table. It articulates nicely to re-position the microphone. It's fairly sturdy and appears to be well-built. I see it lasting for years. It also comes with a round pop filter and an anti-wind foam cap if you plan on taking the microphone outside. You also get an XLR microphone cable with a 3.5 mm end. I'm very happy with this microphone. It's well constructed, looks nice, hugely improves video sound, and is exactly what I need.

Terrific beginner's package
This is a terrific beginner's package for anyone interested in doing audio work, podcasts, or recording and doing voice over on videos. It comes with everything you need to get started. The microphone is surprisingly high quality for its price. While it won't compete with high end microphones, it is excellent for beginners. All around a great deal.

"Oh lordy you have an amazing voice"
This microphone works very well, easy to use and set up. I do voice over work for my self and as a volunteer for a gaming company doing training videos assisting new players to the game. My voice is a bit distinctive and this very affordable microphone brings out the timbre and tone leading to the headline of this review which is an actual quote from a comment on one of my videos. The only drawback is if you are working in a small space the swing arm has a hard time collapsing down small enough to allow its use comfortably. In that instance I use a desk top stand which the Mic and it's shock absorbing holder screws right on.

Way More microphone then the price suggests!
+++ Update - 8/13/17 I previously stated that phantom power was needed for this mic. I was incorrect. Discovered my mistake by accident when I was using this mic without my phantom power unit even being turned on. I rewired everything, tying the Tonor mic directly into my 2012 MacBook Pro and Bamm it all worked perfect!. Have been using this mic now for several months and all items are holding up great. Amazing deal for the price being asked. +++ This review is way overdue as I received my Tonor XLR microphone set back in April. As soon as I opened the box I knew that I had received a high quality product. I was actually super surprised at the high level of quality this microphone set was. Completely all metal, quality cord, metal stand, metal vibration ring. Really amazing. Plug it all in, power up your phantom power supply and this baby will literally sing. Strong, clean crisp sound. I will be buying a second set for my daughter as well. On top of the amazing performance of the microphone the customer service really impressed me. I am not a microphone pro so had a few questions initially and reached out to the seller. I received a response within 12 hours! I woke up and had an email response sitting there waiting for me. Great experience all the way around.

Great Buy especially if you want a mic and stand for streaming great price
Amazing by especially for the price I was looking for a microphone for streaming I've been in a long time PC Builder and gamer and this was just perfect I didn't need anything too fancy and it comes with everything you need with a stand of microphone cord microphone cover the shield I mean it's perfect for anyone looking to get into streaming and yes there are course better microphones like the blue yeti is probably what I would buy after this but this is perfect for the price and you get everything needed for audio input I recommend buying this if you are just getting into streaming or if you need something on the Fly and don't have a lot of dough to spend

Just as good as any $100+ microphone for streaming, general voice comms
You know I am not even sure why people are saying this microphone and its setup is terrible... You cannot, i REPEAT, you cannot just expect these types of microphones to be plug and play, unless you are to buy the high range mics but if you read a little bit and get the correct information along with the 48V Phantom Power Supply - you'll have a GREAT budget microphone that sounds excellent for everything (I do not do studio recordings so I cannot help in that area but I do stream and use it for talking in TS3, skype and games. For going from a SteelSeries Siberia V2 and the G933 mic to now this, there is a substantial quality difference. I have a friend who bought the RAZER Seiren US$179.99 and mine sounds just as perfect as his does (he required set up too, he later returned his Seiren and bought this instead). Using the 3.5mm on your soundcard or motherboard's soundboard is not enough power for the microphone and will have it sound low, I did tests to confirm this. I do not use the circular pop filter, I am using the over-the-microphone pop filter. Both removes the "pops" very well.

Great Recording, but you'll need a bit more
I want to tell you the truth here. If you purchase this mic and expect to record out of the box, you're not going to be happy. The arm is perfect, and all that comes with, but you will get a very loud and annoying buzz when trying to record straight out of the box. In reading a review from another purchaser, I learned that your best bet is to purchase the BEHRINGER U-PHORIA UMC22 BEHRINGER U-PHORIA UMC22. This will completely remove the buzz and any mic feedback, as well as offering you a way to control the volume of the mic externally. It will also give the mic a much more crisp and warm sound. This will give you options for your headphone output, and ways to record other plug in musical devices (microphones, electric instruments, midi keyboards, etc...). You'll also want to include in that purchase a microphone cable. CBI MLC20 Low Z XLR Microphone Cable, 20 Foot, as the one that comes with this will not plug into the device without a larger adapter. Some people suggest purchasing a phantom power supply such as InnoGear 1- Channel 48V Phantom Power Supply with 10 Feet XLR Cable and Adapter for Any Condenser Microphone Music Recording Equipment, but I don't recommend that. This may solve the buzzing issue, but does not offer the other features I stated above. It will however save you money, so it's buyers choice. I hope this was helpful to anyone who is interested in this mic. It took me a long time to weed through all the complaints to find a useful review, and I hope to pay it forward for future purchasers.
